My two sons have spent three years at Harpenden Pre-school & Day Nursery and have been extremely happy and have developed really well. The staff are caring and I really feel they have looked after them. They have always looked forward to going to nursery and will miss it now they are off to big boys school!

Overall Experience

My pre-schooler and my baby have been attending for 6 months now and we are very happy with their care. Our baby has been attending since he was 9 months old and he was very happy from the start. He is well looked after and his routine catered for. They do lots of messy play and things you might not want to do at home. They are warm and genuinely caring.

Overall Experience

The staff and carers at this nursery are exceptional. Our son who is now 25 months has been going over one year now and he has received excellent care. We have a wonderful relationship with his key workers, our carers and we feel our son has truly enjoyed coming everyday. The outdoor space is fantastic and the staff always organise great activities for the children. They also really listen to your wishes as parents and follow them. We have been really happy with the experience so far.

Overall Experience

My experience with Harpenden pre school has one that I have felt most rewarding and very much at peace with. Harpenden pre school offers a place where my son felt very comfortable and being shy, they made him feel at ease until he came out of his shell. As a very happy boy they maintained his energy but also worked really hard to keep him active and stimulated.

The school is very accommodating of allergies and makes sure your child's needs are met with a healthy diet but was extremely impressed by their attention to detail in making sure my son was not exposed to milk.

I would highly recommend it to any parent.

Ellen Job Title: Nursery Manager
Ellen

Ellen has been part of the Luton Road family since 2016 but began their journey in Early Years in 2011. Over the past eight years, they have learned new skills that have supported their journey into becoming Nursery Manager. They have an excellent knowledge of SEND and work closely with local authorities to ensure all children’s needs are met.

Ellen has a passion for high-quality learning and education at the nursery, ensuring children can achieve their full potential while attending Luton Road. In addition to supporting the children’s development, it is important to them to ensure staff are always developing themselves and gaining new skills and experiences.
Rose Job Title: Deputy Manager
Rose

Rose has worked at Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road since 2017, progressing both personally and professionally. Starting as a Nursery Nurse, she has advanced to Room Leader, Third in Charge, and now Deputy Manager.

Rose is passionate about providing the best experiences and opportunities for children while developing strong relationships with families. She is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can build the confidence and independence essential for their future school years.
