Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool

My son loves attending Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool, especially for the delicious food, including the yogurt that is homemade. He loves playing with his friends in the garden and talking about what he had learnt in the day. He was very keen to talk about his birthday to one member of staff in particular and was delighted when a birthday song was played for his fourth birthday. The nursery staff are extremely welcoming and supportive for any needs from dietary requirements to providing feedback on progress. The photos taken during one Christmas were adorable, capturing all that fun they had for the party and with Santa. I was an anxious parent leaving my son there at eleven months but it is wonderful to see how settled and confident he has become over the years. From learning about his favourite dinosaur's to dressing up as Spiderman for World Book Day. My husband and I would certainly recommend Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool to parents.

My daughter seems very happy at the nursery she seems to be achieving all her goals so far. The pandemic must be very difficult for all staff but they all seem to have been very helpful/accomodating through these rough times, always a smile on their face. During covid, the nursery were understanding about settling her back in after the lockdown. I felt my child was there and the staff have done a fantastic job at keeping me informed of the steps they take to ensure they’re meeting the changing government guidance accordingly.

We really like the nursery and feel like our son is really taken care of. He enjoys going in which really reassures us when we're at work and feel guilty that he's been there all day, although sometimes hard to tear him away! He adores his key worked and all the other staff he spends time with. It's amazing to see sometimes when I collect him; all the children sat together and captivated by storytime or the prop box. He also loves the food that a lady cooks and often has double helpings.

I'd highly recommend this nursery after placing both my children here. My son started in the baby room and transitioned through the nursery confidently right through to when he left for his next adventure at big school. The Pre-School team are brilliant at preparing the children for school and have dedicated learning programmes to support this. My daughter also started in the baby room and is now a very confident 2.5-year-old. She surprises me on a daily basis by just how much she's learning and developing at nursery. The staff have been fantastic in supporting with potty training too! All the staff are so lovely and welcoming and genuinely care for the children as if they were their own. Beautiful nursery, great staff, happy children - what more could I ask for.

My child looks forward to going into nursery every day. Staff are friendly and helpful and have a strong bond with my child.

My daughter joined Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road four years ago and has stayed there throughout her nursery and pre-school years. She has always been happy and I have consistently been impressed. In the last year, she has particularly enjoyed her pre-school year. The staff are engaging and energetic, just what a group of four-year-olds need.

Great place for little kids to spend the day having fun and getting messy while they learn. Friendly and helpful staff to reassure us, parents.

Bright Horizons Harpenden has been great so far. Our one year daughter does not officially start until next week however she has had several settling in sessions and clearly loves it. No tears when we drop her off and she heads straight to start playing. All of the staff are fantastic, very kind, caring and patient. They even got her to have a nap on her second session, a clear sign our daughter is happy and comfortable here.

The nursery has been a wonderful experience for my son. He was shy and reticent when he started and in particular, in Harvey House. His keyworker has made huge efforts to increase his confidence and he is now a sociable, happy young man and loves his time at nursery. They have prepared him brilliantly for his move up to their preschool room. He really enjoys Little Kickers. His keyworker has shown such care and affection for him. It is lovely to see as a parent. Their learning projects on planets, London and dinosaurs were greeted enthusiastically.

The nursery provides an excellent, welcoming and friendly setting. All the staff at the nursery take time to get to know all of the children and are always available to discuss any needs or requirements.

My daughter has done excellently in the pre-school room. She enjoys the activities and has learnt loads. The key worker is excellent.

My child has attended Harpenden pre-school and nursery since she was thirteen months old and will soon be leaving for school, aged four and a half. Throughout her three and a half years she has been cared for by staff who get to know her individually, respond to her needs and help her to develop. We have been very pleased with her time here and the part the nursery has played as she progresses to school.

We have used Asquith for almost four years, with two kids all the way through from babies to pre-school. It has been a fantastic, top class experience. The staff have been brilliant, really attentive, thoughtful and caring to our girls. The key workers pay close attention to how the children develop and the feedback to us as parents is continuous and most importantly the kids have such fun.

My daughter has been with the nursery since baby unit and is now about to leave the pre-school. She has really enjoyed her time here and has grown in confidence and ability. I am impressed by the learning in pre-school from Maths to French. The care the staff give to all the children is second to none. The whole nursery work as a team, knowing every child from the reception office, all the way through. We will miss the nursery and the team.
