My son loves the nursery, all the staff are friendly and caring. Always have my son's best interests at heart. He has developed lots since he started at nursery when he was 9 months old, he is now ready for school. He is always encouraged by his key worker and nursery room staff to take part in learning
on his own or as part of a group. The rooms are clean, tidy and safe. The rooms all have different areas for the children to interact and learn. We always receive a daily update on what my child has been doing and eating each day. Variety of food each week.
Going to miss the nursery lots as my oldest son went there too and we have been made to feel welcome/part of the family since he was there. The nursery staff always go over and beyond to support and it really does help and is appreciated.
It is a great nursery and staff are amazing.

The nursery is a great building with a great many resources to occupy and entertain the children. Separated gardens for age groups is a great facility. Staff are very friendly and helpful and very supportive of your child, every staff member knows the child by name and the parents. They offer a variety
of extra activities like French and football which is great for parents who can’t attend classes due to work commitments.

They take care to know your child and provide a varied diet and snacks compatible with any intolerance or allergies. I love my child attending this nursery and feel very reassured by the care he receives.

Our son has been attending Busy Bees Castle View since he was 14 months and he has been very happy here. The nursery staff have been so flexible to accommodate any emergencies/ unplanned appointments etc and they have even switched days for us last minute when work commitments changed. Our son has made
a group of first friends here and has developed so quickly. The nursery also supported us so well through all the transitions from babyhood (such a toilet training) right through to pre-school (learning to write his own name). The staff really have become a second family for him. We will also be sending our daughter here next year when I finish maternity leave.

Castle View staff are fantastic, they are always keeping us up to date on what our child is doing. She has just moved rooms and integrated well due to the staff. Clean rooms, and lots of activities is why we decided on this nursery.

The only problem I have had is that the admin can't get bills correct

but they addressed the problem and all seems ok now.

My little boy has attended the nursery since he was 7 months old. The staff are very welcoming and the nursery is spotless. His needs are always met and he loves his time there. Previously, I worked as a nursery nurse (level 3) and I have nothing but praise for Busy Bees.

Our 3 children are pupils of the nursery. They are aged 5,4 and 2 and the support and professionalism we had from all the staff are second to none. It is a nice feeling to know that staff understand your difficulties as a parent, they constantly work their best to make sure our kids have a good time
and at this time, I can honestly say that our kids love them all.
Staff have a smile for everybody, even when they are exhausted. That makes a difference, s big difference.

My son loves his time in the nursery. They are busy every day and you can tell the staff are all loved by the children they look after. When collecting my son they always tell me what they've been up to that day and if they have noticed anything different, it is really comforting to know how observant
they are.

This is a great nursery. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Purpose built nursery building. Clean facilities. The garden space seems small but the staff are taking the children out to the woods regularly, and make use of the big grassland area nearby which is great.

The manager and the staff at the nursery are just the best. They will move heaven and earth to make sure they are doing the very best for you.
My son has come on leaps and bounds since attending the nursery and never fails to amaze me with tales of what he’s been up to that day.
The menu is fantastic
and I’m pretty sure he eats better than me some days!
The staff listen to my views and will take on board any feedback, they will also work with you to make sure his routine or discipline methods are maintained.
I will be rather sad when my sons time comes to an end here.

I visited four other nurseries before choosing Busy Bees at Castle View including another branch of Busy Bees. As soon as I walked in and met the staff and saw how they interacted with him I felt so at ease. The gardens are lovely I especially like the use of recycled and natural materials. My son has
a food allergy and they are super careful to make sure nothing can come in contact with him that would cause a reaction. I love that I get an end of day report so I know exactly when and what he has eaten when he has a nap for and how long as well as a general rundown of what he has been up to while I've been working. My religion is not well known and the staff have asked for info on it and tried to incorporate some learning about it when appropriate. The peace of mind I have knowing he is so well looked after is absolutely priceless and certainly helps with the feelings of guilt I have over having to leave him!

I have been very impressed with the standard of care at Busy Bees at Castle View. My little boy settled in well which was a big relief as a mother returning to work.

For shift workers, it would be extremely helpful if there was some flexibility around days.

I would recommend this nursery to

friends and family.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.886)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.886) out of 10 for Busy Bees Castle View is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.986 for Busy Bees Castle View is calculated as follows: ( (71 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.986
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Castle View is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 number of registered child places is 20. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 20 = 0.3
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
