Baby Acorns, Roath

Our 2-year-old son absolutely loves going to Baby Acorns over the last year. He's developed so much and learning new things every day and has become such a happy and sociable child. All the staff are super friendly and go above and beyond for all the kids. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Thanks!

Our child has settled in really well and I feel happy knowing what a great environment he's in. Everything is just right, the building, the garden and facilities are well set up. Lovely people work here and clearly care about looking after and engaging with the children.

We are delighted with the care that Baby Acorns offers our little one. The key workers know the children so well, the food is fantastic and the activities are excellent. We cannot fault the team. We are so pleased we chose the nursery.

We have been blown away by the care and support provided by Baby Acorns, Roath. Our daughter had thrived in this setting and had made plenty of friends. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and kind and we could ask for a better service. The updated daily and through the app provide a great insight into their busy/productive days.

Great communication and always feel safe leaving our son knowing he is in good caring hands and gets cooked meals from their own kitchen.

My child always seems happy coming home from nursery. The staff always go into detail about what they have been doing, playing with, eating etc. Really pleased overall with the nursery and staff. Always so friendly and polite.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Baby Acorns for their high standard of care. My son Aubrey thoroughly enjoyed his time at this nursery and he was always excited to go! Every time I picked him up he had something to show me that he made in nursery and he took pride sticking his art work on his bedroom wall. The ladies have always been welcoming and they always showed warmth to my son which I very much appreciate. Thank you very much for creating lovely memories for my son.

Since day 1 my daughter has been welcomed in the home away from home. Made great friends in children and staff. Staff are very attentive and considerate. My daughter can't wait until nursery day to go and see her friends and have fun. Wonderful food and daily and regular updates regarding your child.

Someone said to us not to look around Baby Acorns unless we could afford it. I completely understand why they said that - it's hard to say no to. On our very first visit, our little boy was completely comfortable with the staff and the surroundings. He responded really well to the nursery manager which was a huge selling point from the outset. Since choosing Baby Acorns because of its walking distance from our home and its beautiful environment and lovely staff, we have been so impressed with their care for our child. He is excited to go, he is sad to leave (!) as he has an attachment to the staff, and comes home with various paintings and creations, and reports of what he's been doing that day. The nursery promotes diversity through their activities that touch on many different religious and seasonal events. We are confident that our child is safe, happy, and stimulated at Baby Acorns and we as parents feel informed and contactable.

Seeing how much the Manager and the team care about their nursery and the hard work they put in to be the best means I can absolutely, wholeheartedly, recommend this nursery.

My son recently started Baby Acorns at the tender age of 6 months. I was apprehensive because he was so little and because he is a 'lockdown baby' who has had very little interaction with others, but the team at Baby Acorns could not have made it easier. They were very generous with the settling in sessions - 9 in total of increasing length. As a result, my son has settled in very well. There is a lovely variety of activities on offer and the food and dining facilities are excellent, which means he eats really well while he's there. The staff are kind and friendly - they took the time to understand what his routine was like at home and what things he likes and doesn't like. I would highly recommend this nursery if you want to feel reassured that your child is in a safe and happy environment. It is one of the more expensive nurseries in Cardiff, but it is hard to put a price on the quality of care you wish to receive for your child.

We have been blown away by the welcome and care provided by Baby Acorns. Our twins love going and happily go in each day. We are well informed about the day's activities and are grateful for the approachable staff including the management team.
