Princess of Wales Day Nursery

I highly recommend School House Day Nursery in Bridgend. I am fully satisfied that they take the highest care of my son which fills me with ease to go to work. He is happy to go to nursery and he enjoys varied playtime whislt in nursery. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They always help me with advice if needed.

My little boy loves going and is always so happy when we drop him off. The staff are so friendly, caring, and understanding - they've really gone above and beyond to help with a few more complex things and have supported us every step of the way. They take the time to really get to know him and understand what works best for him, which means so much to us.

The nursery itself has such a lovely, welcoming feel, and the app is brilliant for keeping us updated through the day. It's so nice seeing what he's been up to! Since starting here, he's come on in leaps and bounds and developed so much.

Honestly couldn't recommend this nursery enough - we're so grateful for everything they do!

Amazing nursery can't fault them there great with my daughter is can't believe how much she's come on since coming here the staff are great with she has such an amazing bond with them one member of staff in particular is always happy when she comes home and to go in she's always smiling and love how they keep me updated on what's she's doing through the day

We've always felt comfortable leaving him- he always comes out well fed and happy and it's lovely to be able to check in on how he's doing using the app and have the ability to message the team while he's there to see how he's doing!

The staff have been excellent with my son who has been having problems settling into the nursery. They have made so much effort to try different things to settle him in. Good communication via the app and always friendly.

My daughter has loved attending this nursery since the beginning of February, she has a big smile on her face when I drop her off which is lush to see, the nursery workers spend time getting to know all of the kids and each week we get an observation through that shows what your child has been working on that week which is great, you get pictures sent over the app and can message the girls with any questions and they are quick at getting back to you. The food variety is great and my daughter eats every meal up, overall really happy with this nursery so far.

My son is in the toddler room at POW nursery and I am constantly amazed at the new things he has learned there. The nursery has recently introduced checking the children in and out of the garden on the famly app which is lovely to see how much time they spend outdoors. The nursery is is really great!

The nursery are one of the only in the area that offer excellent wrap around care and school holiday playschemes.

Overall, the service and nursery is excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for top tier childcare. The staff are incredibly caring and supportive. There are always activities going on increasing my child's confidence and knowledge.

Such a good nursery, my daughter absolutely loves it there and she's always so happy when she's there. The interior is so nice and cosy, and the garden is big enough for them to play in no matter the weather. They do so many activities and nothing makes me happier than the cute little updates and pictures we get throughout the day of our kids. The food is great, my kid is always clean. Genuinely a perfect nursery.

We have used Princess of Wales Day Nursery for the last year and a half, and it is excellent. My partner works shifts, and they allow a lot more flexibility than other nurseries. We get regular updates on our son’s progress, and he is always happy when he goes to the nursery and loves everyone who works there. He can play in a structured way and run around with his friends. He spends plenty of time outside too, which I really like. I am always jealous of the food that he gets to eat there, and it is always a balanced healthy diet.

Friendly staff. The app used to keep parents/guardians up to date with their child's activities in the nursery is easy to use. A range of foods provided and a variety of activities carried out with the children.

My daughter attends Schoolhouse day nursery, Princess of Wales Hospital. In the first few sessions, she was a bit clingy to me and the staff dealt with it so wonderfully. 6 months on at 22 months old she runs into the nursery and loves her key worker as well as all the other staff. My daughter is so happy here, has developed really well. The updates the nursery gives around their developmental milestones are fantastic. Would highly recommend it!

Great friendly staff who have helped our son develop into a confident little boy. In the last couple of months, he’s gone from a quiet little boy in to one who is now smiling and playing nonstop and his speech has come along brilliantly.

My little boy loves going to this nursery. He’s only 10 months old but has already created a lovely bond with the ladies responsible for him. They are always doing lots of activities with him and focus on helping his development at every stage. I love the regular app updates throughout the day too, it really gives me peace of mind.
