Princess of Wales Day Nursery

I think Princess of Wales Day Nursery has benefited my granddaughter in so many ways. She’s really thriving there and her development is excelling beyond my expectations. All staff are welcoming and polite. Her keyworker is amazing and very knowledgeable regarding my granddaughter's needs and development. My granddaughter has a very special bond with her and speaks about her at home. She will answer any questions I have whilst giving a detailed version of my granddaughter's day. I love receiving pictures on the app, I think it’s a very good way to communicate with all staff and see what’s been happening whilst she’s there.

Highly recommend this nursery too all family and friends, all members of staff go above an beyond and will accommodate any of your child's needs. Fantastic structure and sures your child's safety and future development is paramount.

Will only ever send my children to this nursery if and when I have another. My daughter has come along leaps and bounds since starting here.

Fantastic nursery, would only ever recommend this one, my daughter has come a long way since starting here. The staff makes sure your child has everything they need to make sure they're comfortable being away from family. To reassure your child is happy and is progressing continuous updates on the app on your child's day activities and more. The staff are fantastic and my daughter is always happy to go in every day. Highly recommend.

The staff of the nursery are excellent and really great at their job. My daughter attended and my son currently attends the nursery. They go all out and beyond to make sure the kids are well taken care of and also provide the best early education for the little ones. They had a huge impact with my daughter’s speech as there was massive improvement in her speech since she attended and also helped make toilet training less stressful for me as well. I would say they are a fantastic team and could not recommend anywhere else!

The staff are lovely. The atmosphere in the nursery is wonderful and my son likes it. He is happy to go to nursery every day. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends in future. My son started learning new words from the nursery and using them at home.

The best nursery around Bridgend. All the staff go above and beyond for the children and create special bonds with them. My daughter has been going from May 2020 to September 2023 and continues to go through school holidays. She absolutely loves it there and we will be sad when she can no longer go. If I have any more children, I will not hesitate to send them there. Thank you ladies, you’re awesome!

Staff are fantastic at looking after my daughter. I feel like the team goes above and beyond caring for my child. My daughter loves going to nursery and she is liked very much. I also like the theme and atmosphere of the nursery. Very much in touch with nature and sensory and healthy eating. I would like to go there myself for a spa day if I could.

Excellent nursery. Communication is great from the staff. My son has been there for nearly 2 years and loves his time there. Timings are also excellent especially for parents who are doctors as early drop-off is possible.

I am very happy with Schoolhouse Day Nursery at Princess of Wales. I know my child is happy there, the staff take excellent care of her and always seem so happy. They are kind with her and she is always doing crafts or playing outdoors. She's always happy to go in and warmly welcomed. I'm a pediatrician and I am happy to trust them with the care of my daughter. They catered well when she had an allergy.

Overall, we are very happy with our child's daycare experience. Some things could be improved but the positives outweigh this massively. Firstly, I don't understand their policy regarding entering the building at the end of the day to pick up my son. This was always the norm prior to Covid. There are no longer any restrictions in place yet we are still not allowed to enter. The prices have also recently increased by about 10% with the daycare not absorbing any inflationary costs themselves but passing it almost fully over to the customer - this seems a bit unfair. Despite this, I would strongly recommend this nursery. The staff are excellent and truly care about the kids. The wooden toys and Montessori style approach is also brilliant for their development. My son loves it there and eats really well. He comes home with new words or skills all the time. We also love the app that they use!

My daughter joined when she was 9 months old, when I went to work. I can not be happier with the service and environment provided. She absolutely loves it there, every day brings something new. I see a massive change in her development weekly. She went up to other 2’s in January and her imagination has grown either further. I would recommend the nursery to anyone as they are so great with my daughter. The staff are caring and keep me informed via the app, which is really important to me. I have a very happy little girl and that’s all I can ask for.

The hours they provide care for are great and really helpful. We love that they have natural, wooden toys for the children and that they do fun activities such as baking cakes and giving roses to NHS staff.

We love the regular photo updates of her activities and the staff are very quick to respond when I post a question on the app. My daughter comes out of nursery smiling and I’m confident she is in the hands of caring and motivated staff.

Great place. I don't regret for a second sending my daughter there. With the nursery's support she made a great transformation from a lockdown child who has no social skills to the fun outgoing girl that she is now. I'm grateful for this place and I feels sad that my daughter will leave for school soon.

My daughter has been going to Nursery since June 2022. I cannot thank the girls enough, nothing is ever too much trouble, I feel content and happy knowing my daughter is safe in their hands, she loves to tell me about her day on the way home, we love receiving photos of what she's been doing and key workers observations are great.

They are caring and communication is really great.

My son has really settled and the staff are so good with him! Any worries I have they are so quick to help me! The app is also brilliant, updates throughout the day, which is so lovely!

This nursery is so perfect. It took my son some time to settle in but the bond he has with the staff is so special and I am so grateful to them for the time and love that they have given him. It takes a lot of trust to leave your child in the care of someone else and I feel completely confident in all of the staff at nursery.

I was reluctant to send my little girl to the school, as I was very nervous for her to be anywhere without me, I was made very comfortable and found all staff very approachable and welcoming. They're polite and happy to help in any way they can. The nursery is always clean and tidy and they always have different activities for the kids. All the photos I receive of my little girl show how much fun she has in nursery and I'm just so pleased that we chose to put her in your school.
