Princess of Wales Day Nursery

We love the app and that we can see how she's doing throughout her day.

Our little boy has never eaten so much; he adores the food and has the biggest smile on his face when we see daily pictures. This has put our minds at ease that we’ve made the best decision when we enrolled him!

My son started at nursery when he was 8 months old and the nursery helped me feel at ease with leaving him there. I feel confident he is being well looked after and is happy and safe whilst there. The nursery app is excellent, I can see how my son is doing throughout the day - what he eats, when he naps etc. and I get a picture of him being involved in an activity that I look forward to every day. This is great peace of mind. The nursery is quick to respond to any messages I send on the app.

The variety of activities they do is so excellent. The variety of healthy foods each day is also very good. My son is very happy to be dropped off and smiles when he sees the nursery staff. He clearly enjoys his days at nursery and we are really happy with how he has settled in, which makes us feel comfortable when we are at work that he is being well looked after.

Excellent nursery. The staff are amazing with my daughter. People always comment on how advanced my daughter is and I believe I owe a lot of this to the nursery. As a full-time working mother, they put my mind at ease and I know my daughter is in great hands. They have always been very helpful with any advice I ask. The family app is also very good. I love the updates on how my daughter is doing and the pictures. Would highly recommend this nursery.

I can’t thank the staff at this nursery enough, they have made going back to work that bit less stressful. Seeing my child want to go in and get excited when we pull up in the car is brilliant. They do different activities each day and we can see pictures as well which is a massive positive for any proud parent. My child is so comfortable there and enjoys his time in the nursery, not even looking back going through the door. I’ve really seen my child come on leaps and bounds in the few months he’s attended. The positive influence they have had really shows. Only thing is, I’d love to just sit and watch through the window at him playing but that may be a bit strange!

Princess of Wales nursery have been fantastic at looking after my little girl since January in the under two's room. I love the Famly app which allows me to see how she is getting on throughout the day. The team are so friendly, supportive and informative. Schoolhouse Day Nursery is such a wonderful, supportive, safe and fun place for both my children to attend. My little boy only started there this year and in the current climate I was quite nervous about the whole thing but it has been so easy and a great decision as he is happy and progressing so well. My mind is constantly at ease because I am regularly updated through the day with lots of lovely pictures of all the things he does throughout the day and to top it all off the staff are so caring and kind towards both of my children.

My little girl loves it there, the staff are amazing and so friendly, the school app is also amazing as you are able to check up on your little one whenever you like. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more.

My daughter really liked it there, they kept me updated about her day, had so much fun playing in the outdoor area and did lots of other craft work inside. She really misses going back there and misses the staff.

My little boy has attended the Princess of Wales Day Nursery for three and a half years. The staff are extremely friendly, caring and attentive and he has progressed well, especially with regards to his speech. I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

The staff at the nursery are amazing with the kids. They welcome them in and pay them attention all day long. They provide photos and updates on how the little ones are doing and go out of their way to replicate the routines the little ones have at home. It’s a little home from home for them.

My daughter has been in the nursery since she was five months old, she's now three. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough. They are absolutely fantastic in every way. The activities and crafts, the staff, the care, the communication and caring for my child as an individual is amazing. Staying open in a pandemic and the extra care they gave. Thank you!

Our little boy loves going to nursery. The staff have made him feel very welcome and are very knowledgeable. They have loads of stimulating activities, so much more than I could do at home. They always greet him with a smile and a cuddle. The nursery is also very accommodating. I work shifts and have sometimes had to change days. They have been so helpful in this respect as other nurseries we used with our eldest, in a different area were not. He started in the middle of the first lockdown and they have been so accommodating in terms of information as we have never even stepped foot inside the nursery. The app they use is very helpful and they are very responsive to messages when we have asked questions.

I am so happy with the care my daughter receives at Princess of Wales Day Nursery. She joined during the pandemic as a quiet seventeen month old and now I have a very happy confident two year old who loves telling me about her friends and teachers who she loves playing with. All the staff are lovely and communication via the family app and email are great. She enjoys the variety of healthy food and also cooking yummy treats, she is learning lots of new skills all the time, I couldn't be happier with her care! Thank you.

What an amazing place, the staff are all very friendly and professional in everything they do. My son and daughter really enjoy and look forward to going every time. I really love the app as you get daily detailed updates on what the kids are doing during their time at the daycare.

Our two and a half year old has been going since he was one and loves it. The environment is fun and clean, with a separate area for the littlest ones. There is a lovely garden outside with cars, bikes and a Wendy house. The staff have always been friendly and professional. They were especially very kind when we were getting started. Lovely updates on the private app letting me know how things are going. The staff here are my personal pandemic heroes!

My son absolutely loves his time there and all of the activities he gets to do. He was moved here at short notice, however we couldn't be happier with the team at Princess of Wales Day Nursery. I am very grateful for the care that he receives!

This nursery is the best nursery in the Bridgend area. They engage so much with the children, I have one in the under twos and one in the over twos and the staff are just so caring and nurturing with both age groups. My older one has recently been going through toilet training and has found going in nursery challenging. Her keyworker has spent many hours encouraging and supporting her to feel confident to go in nursery. All the staff and management are helpful and just lovely!

I would highly recommend this nursery. They are very accommodating! Good at communicating and if someone is unsure they will find out for you. I’m totally delighted with this nursery. The staff are lovely with the children and very professional. The selection of activities the children do are great, it’s lovely to have pictures come home. The communication is excellent via the app, we get photos most days and updates, and can easily get in contact with the staff when needed. My daughter loves attending and is really happy here. I recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent nursery.
