Princess of Wales Day Nursery

I love the updates via the Famly app and seeing pictures of what they are doing that day.

Great, lovely and kind staff. My daughter has been attending this nursery since 1.5 years and loves it. She’s excited daily to go to the nursery and take part in all the new activities, cooking, games, arts, painting etc. The app helps us to keep a track of her activities and food etc.

Great nursery. The staff are very good. Daughter loves it.

My son has the best day here. Every week he comes home exhausted as he is only half-day, but full of smiles and new skills. The new activity app they now use is great, so I can see what my son has been up to before I pick him up. All staff are always really welcoming on my son's arrival and departure. Truly all credits to the team who cannot help enough.

My experience with staff and management has been fantastic. Very supportive and understanding, always happy to listen and go through my child's day. I feel that my child has learnt many different skills and has come on with his development fantastically. Thank you to all staff at POW Day Nursery.

My son used to be attached to me all the time, the staff have been brilliant with my son and he's having a lovely time. I can actually leave him with my mum at the moment for a couple of hours where I wasn't able to before. He loves his food, they are just brilliant.

My little one settled well due to the care and support given by the team.

They lost their dad before Christmas and their emotional support has been outstanding for us all. My son is happy going to nursery and enjoys his day. They communicate all needs and activities well and I am happy with the progress being made.

My son settled in quickly here and seems happy to attend each day. The staff are friendly and helpful and the activities on offer seem to be of a good variety. He enjoys the food prepared and the recent parenting app is a fantastic idea as it provides me with all the necessary information and it’s a great way to communicate with the nursery.

Absolutely amazing staff. They're always lovely, polite and caring. If you need to change a day or add a day they do their best to help. It's easy to get hold of them. And they're always happy to answer questions. You're always informed about your child's progress and what they've done throughout the day. I'd definitely recommend this nursery.

Lovely staff who really get to know the children well. Good range of activities for the children. Outdoor space small, but adequate and keeps the children busy.

The staff in this nursery are very caring and conscientious and our daughter is clearly very safe in their care. They do a lot of activities and our daughter always seems to enjoy being in the nursery. The staff are very engaged and friendly with parents too. The outside space could be bigger but the reality is that due to weather, meals etc most of their time would be spent inside anyway.

My little boy has been going to this nursery since April 2018. He has settled well into the toddler room since May 2019. The girls that work there are really lovely and supportive, especially when he is going through his development phases and learning new skills. There are always lots of fun activities and themed days. My son has so much fun every day. He comes home with lovely things that he has made and he is chatting away about his friends. I would really recommend this nursery. It’s not overcrowded and is always lovely and clean.

My little girl has quickly settled into nursery here, with thanks to the wonderful team. They are great with her and they are very flexible, which suits my pattern of shift work wonderfully! Thank you all.

My little girl absolutely loves coming to nursery. She has been attending since she was eight months old and she has grown in confidence over this period of time. The nursery has had a wonderful input into her development and the activities on offer have helped to shape her little character. She loves to sing the songs that she has learned at nursery and she has made some lovely little friends. The setting has wonderful facilities, including an outside area which they use on a daily basis. I love that she is allowed to explore the outside environment safely in all weathers. The staff are brilliant when discussing her development and I know that she is in safe hands when I leave. I also love the independent skills she is learning, to lay the table and to serve her own foods. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I would recommend this nursery to absolutely anyone and can't thank the team enough for the peace of mind and wonderful care they’ve given my son.

The nursery has shown care and support from day 1. The communication is excellent, as is the nursery on the whole.

My son has been coming to this nursery for 5 months and he loves it. I changed jobs so he had to move nursery from somewhere he had been settled for a year. I was concerned about him making the change at 2 years old but all the staff are so friendly and loving that he settled in straight away with not one tear! I am regularly updated on his progress with learning and communicating/socialising and everyone is always open to questions I might have. I have really noticed there is a focus on independence for the children which I think is an invaluable skill even at a young age. My son will happily go to all the staff for cuddles but of course, he has his favourites too!! I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!
