Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Tavistock

My son and daughter have both attended this nursery so we have been patrons since 2011 to the present day. Our daughter runs into every session so excited to be at “school” and that’s due to the environment and staff. You can’t really ask for more than a happy settled child.

Fabulous nursery! Both of my sons have attended 11 years apart and the high standard of care and early years education has not changed. The majority of staff haven't changed either which is always a good indicator of a healthy working environment. Both of my children have thoroughly enjoyed attending and I go to work with peace of mind that they are both happy and safe. Friendly, engaging, enthusiastic staff and all-around excellent communication.

Experience so far has been good. Good management and amazing staff with caring mindset. My child is learning fast and she is excited about going to the nursery as she is engaged at the nursery. Healthy food is served as they stick to their meal plan.

My son has been here since he was 15 months old, all of the staff are amazing and so warm and welcoming. They treat each child as their own and make it much easier and relaxing to leave your babies with them. My son loves going to nursery and it will be a huge miss when he goes to school this September.

Both my boys went to this school. The staff have always gone above and beyond and I would highly recommend it. My eldest has ASD and Tavistock were the ones to start the whole process and the help was unbelievable. I wish they could stay here beyond 5 years old!

Our daughter is so happy at nursery, she is developing well and has made some amazing relationships with staff. So good to know she isn’t upset when we leave her and she is having great fun and learning along the way. Our oldest daughter also attended and there was no question where we were sending our youngest.

Such a good and genuinely caring nursery! Highly recommended, my little girl is so happy and content over there. Best nursery I could ever have asked for! The girls who work there are so sweet and caring with the kids.

My son looks forward to nursery on Tuesdays and Thursdays as he has such a good relationship with the staff. When Oliver first started nursery he was very shy and didn’t really want to stay but in time and with help from all the staff he has come out of his shell and is progressing amazingly. I can honestly say he would not be so far ahead in his progression without the amazing staff at Tavistock nursery. He also tries so many more foods due to the yummy meals he receives while he is there.

Tavistock is a nursery where my granddaughter is a very happy girl! The place, the staff, the facilities, the meals, the development in learning and the comfort that my granddaughter is very happy - I would always recommend this nursery.

I testify that the school is the best, safest and nicest place to start my daughter's educational journey. All the teachers are so caring and lovely and they are security conscious. My daughter has always told me, mummy, I love my school. So I encourage every beginner to start with Tavistock.

The staff at Tavistock House are fantastic. They go above and beyond to make our little girl and us happy while she is there. Communication is excellent and they really get to know children well. The activities planned are great and have really helped our little girl's development. We recommend Tavistock House 100%.

My daughter is always happy to go to nursery. Her speech and communication skills have vastly improved too, compared to when she started. The staff of Tavistock House nursery are all amazing. I have no complaints about the care she receives.

A lovely nursery with cheerful teachers who are usually smiling. I really appreciate the use of the parents' app which give feedback and updates; acting as an interface between a parent and teacher.

My little boy adores it here! Excellent nursery. He loves building towers and playing in the garden. He loves his key worker. The fact they supply nappies and his oat milk makes things a million times easier too.

The staff are just brilliant and the environment is calm and challenging. Our son started at 2 and we are confident we have picked the best nursery for his start to education. A massive thanks to Team Tavistock.

Excellent staff. As a parent, I feel comfortable leaving my child at Tavistock House as I know he is in safe hands. I know they will always call me if there are any issues. They have made excellent progress with my child’s development and I have seen a huge difference in my child and he has hit milestones since starting at Tavistock House.

My little one just started over a month ago and has really settled there quickly. She's always happy to go and talks all about her session when she's home. Room staff are very welcoming and the manager was very helpful in setting everything up. My little girl is a fussy eater and they made her an alternative, which was very much appreciated.

My child started here at two years old and was unsettled at first. The staff were very reassuring never had a problem, all the staff have been very helpful and welcoming. This is a lovely nursery I feel like my child has come on so much since she started.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and is always so excited when we pull up outside. The staff are amazing and treat her like their own and she is developing so much. Can’t wait to be able to go back into the nursery to see the rooms again.

The staff are second to none, which makes all the difference to us! We have regular updates during the day to say what she has eaten etc. They have a fabulous outside area also! I never have any worries when dropping her off.
