Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Tavistock

My daughter started at Tavistock in September, I was firstly impressed by the general warmness of the staff, everyone had a smile. My daughter has also experienced massive improvement in her social skills from a very shy girl to an outspoken one, she is always happy to go to school. I am very pleased with the quality of service.

My child has attended Tavistock for almost 4 years, the nursery stood out for me during the initial viewing when the staff made me feel so comfortable and let my little one explore on their own. My child has thrived since being at Tavistock, coming on in their development week in and week out. It's the little things Tavistock doesn't miss, Valentine's Day and the personalised yearly calendars. The facilities are fantastic and my child loves the garden and being able to explore the outdoors while being supervised and learning!

The range of food options available are always great and varied, again my child exploring foods they normally wouldn't touch at home.

All of the staff will always have time for you and the care they provide is fantastic. Thank you!

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff and management at my daughter's nursery. They are truly the best - caring, professional, and dedicated. My daughter is always happy and excited to go to nursery, which speaks volumes about the wonderful environment they provide. I sincerely thank each and every member of the team for looking after her so well and making her feel safe and loved every day.

My daughter has been attending nursery since 2023 and the support from everyone there has been amazing! I can't stress enough how wonderful the staff have been, from helping my daughter's confidence and development to being a sympathetic ear when I'm struggling. Everyone really has been wonderful

Absolutely amazing team that work with our kids that's all I could ask for they have lots of patience and experience my nephew is coming on great after joining the nusery he loves it and also loves his teacher.

My daughter is only in her 6th month of nursary and with it has been it's challenges, as with most children, the roller coaster of loving it but not wanting to show mammy and daddy on drop off's. But all staff have been beyond patient and kept us up to date with how well and fast she has settled, easing any anxiety. We love our little updates of all the fun the little ones are having, and staff share lovely little stories or how my daughter has made them laugh upon pick up. All staff are so approachable and lovely to speak to, and you can see they truly care about all of the children and their needs, and how to make nursery a happy, safe space for each individual. We are very happy we chose Little Pioneers Tavistock

Little Pioneers provide excellent quality care for my child. The staff and other facilities are good. They provide proper learning support for my child and she is really interested to go to nursery these days

We are incredibly happy with the nurturing environment at Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school. Our child has thrived here, showing significant progress in their social skills, language development, and overall confidence. The teachers are patient, attentive and create engaging activities that align perfectly with our child's learning style. We particularly appreciate the emphasis on outdoor play and the regular updates we receive about our child's day through their online portal. We highly recommend Little Pioneers Nursery and Preschool to any family seeking a high-quality preschool experience. Our son has been going there for almost 4 months now. It has been truly wonderful, and we could not be happier. What an amazing place for children! Every staff person I met was polite, professional, and friendly. The teachers and teacher assistants are patient, speak kindly with the children, and are very communicative with parents.

Overall, I'm very happy with how my little boy is settling and couldn't praise the girls in the room more.

I don't have enough good things to say about the nursery and staff. My daughter absolutely loves it here and is thriving. My favourite thing is how happy my daughter is going in. She has an amazing bond with the staff and I can't thank them enough for looking after her.

Since my daughter joined the nursery, the changes have been tremendous and I cannot thank the staff enough for the effort put into my child to ensure her growth process is perfect. My child barely talked before joining in September, and now, she comfortably pronounces words and even tries to have a conversation. Thank you Little Pioneers.

Brilliant nursery in general, staff are amazing at making sure the children/child settles into the classroom. The only part I think personally that could be improved is maybe a choice of sandwich or multiple choice of meals in case the children/ child does not like that meal that's provided on that specific day.

Very clean well-presented nursery, the staff are friendly and very good with the children helping them with their development, skills and encouraging positive behaviour. The outside space is very good and the kids have plenty of fun in the good weather doing different activities.

I've picked grandson up only to find out when arriving home several hours later that his had soaking wet socks on which they have put his trainers on top of despite them have a supply of socks. On another occasion I arrived to him playing with nothing but a nappy on in the middle of winter being told they were attempting to get him changed however had no clean clothes out to get him changed into. He has been sent home in winter with a thin top, no vest despite having a supply. I came into him lying down for a nap just his bottoms on no vest or top on. Today picked up took him to the car to put a clean nappy on, took his nappy off to a massive scratch on his bum cheek and the nappy had been that tight it had rubbed his legs so bad he had blisters on his groin. The manager tried to say he had scratched himself through his nappy breaking the skin, the blisters on his groin was cause he had pooed. GP said nappy had been too tight then he had been left in a wet nappy which rubbed, causing blisters.

I couldn't be happier with Little Pioneers Nursery. The practitioners show incredible care and affection, creating a warm environment where my son thrives.
