Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Tavistock

A wonderful nursery with highly professional staff who have helped my little boy learn and grow hugely since day one. We have tried a few nurseries in the past, and since moving here, my little boy has never been happier! He looks forward to attending nursery and learning something new every day.

Tavistock nursery is amazing! My little boy started at 10-months-old and was so emotional at first, but the staff were amazing! He now goes in smiling and waving, and it makes me feel so much more at ease knowing he actually enjoys going to nursery now. The staff are so nurturing and caring and always keep you updated when you speak to them.

I have found that if you have any issues or problems, they are looked into within a reasonable time. They do listen to parents and take appropriate action when and where necessary, as we are all wanting the same thing, “what is best for the children “

Tavistock is an amazing nursery, and the staff that look after my daughter are lovely and are amazing with her. They make so much time for you as a parent to let you know what my daughter had been doing that day in nursery.

As a first time mum, I was very nervous to put my daughter in another person care but knew I needed to in order to return to work. The girls caring for my daughter were always able to reassure me, and now my daughter has come on so much in terms of her confidence and became such a caring little girl. Would definitely recommend this nursery to any parent looking for childcare!

All the staff are kind and welcoming; our little girl loves it! She runs straight in and always comes back smiling and tiered, shows us she’s had a fun-filled day. Have recommended friends to the nursery and will continue to.

All three of our boys have attended the Tavistock Nursery, and we always been so impressed by the commitment and enthusiasm of the staff. Our children have all built wonderful relationships with every key worker, and our older two sons have very happy memories of the nursery and love collecting their little brother from nursery so they can say “hello” to the staff. They have my complete confidence. Thank you to everyone.

My oldest daughter went to the nursery but has now left, and my youngest is still there. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My girls have progressed so much thanks to the lovely staff at Tavistock. The staff are extremely caring, experienced and approachable.

So glad I chose this nursery! The staff are amazing; they're very helpful and really friendly! My daughter loves being here and settled in so well with everyone straight away; she absolutely loves the playground outside!

Loved it for both of my children. Their learning has been great. Set them up for school in the best way possible. Their confidence has grown, and they are independent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking.

My son has attended Tavistock Nursery since being 6-months-old, and it is the best thing that I could have done for him. He enjoys going to nursery, and his speech is coming on amazing with being around other kids. The staff are lovely and caring. So happy I chose this nursery for him.

Absolutely fabulous nursery! The staff are extremely welcoming, and communication is fantastic. With everything they have in place, I feel extremely comfortable leaving my child there, and I know I will get updates throughout the day with the app.

I can’t speak highly enough of the nursery! The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. My kids always get up to fun stuff when they’re there and it’s really encouraged their social growth. Outstanding nursery! Tavistock nursery has the most positive, professional, caring and enthusiastic staff team. I’ve had 2 children placed at the nursery to date and from day one we have been welcomed with such an amazing amount of warmth and nurture. The building and facilities are fantastic and the curriculum offered is spread across such a wide range. I feel so grateful and lucky to have had my children attend this nursery and I can definitely say that the greatest asset this nursery has is their staff team, they are all brilliant at their role and I’ve always felt my children are well cared for, safeguarded and really well educated. Thank you!

Absolutely lovely nursery, plenty of room and resources and highly skilled staff. My little boy has taken to the staff amazingly for being so little. I trust the staff so much with him and I am confident in their ability to assess my son and work towards valuable next steps. The observation system is great and gives me confidence in being able to see a snapshot of his day. Could not recommend enough!

Both my daughters have attended Tavistock House and both of them are developing into confident young girls - I am certain the early years education and care they received at Tavistock has greatly contributed to this. Throughout their time there, staff have cared for them both with the attention they would afford to their own children and they have encouraged the girls' individual interests and talents. Every aspect of Tavistock is exemplary and the past six years have flown by - we will be sad to say our final goodbyes next year.

The staff are always friendly but professional. They always have time to give one to one attention to my child. There is always a different activity each day and a lot of different things to do. My child has picked up a lot of viruses since starting the nursery but I believe this is common in most nurseries.

The nursery is also really flexible with changing days and always try to fit us in.

My child has a very safe place to grow and shine, thanks to Tavistock family.

Our son enjoys his time at nursery very much. At home, he talks about his friends and his carers regularly. As parents, we are involved if there are any concerns/issues that arise. It would have been helpful though to be informed of changes to the fees earlier - not just a month ahead of the change.
