At Little Pioneers Tavistock, they like to consider themselves a home from home for their children. They provide a happy and vibrant learning environment and focus equally on all areas of learning.

Little Pioneers Tavistock are big on happy children. They have regular visits to a local care home, focus on taking care of each other and the world and have areas for growing food (and eating it).

The nursery team are big on safety which is why ALL staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share core values with children from making a difference in the world to expressing their feelings.

They use an app called ParentZone which keeps parents and carers informed about life at nursery days and includes photos from their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Little Pioneers Tavistock believe in the importance of development in the early years of your child's life. Their qualified Early Years Practitioners have created an environment designed to support their development in every way.

My daughter started this nursery in June 2023 and has just recently left and the care she received whilst being at this nursery, I couldn't have been more happier with. She used to be so happy and excited about going to nursery to see all her teachers and her friends. Everyone was so loving and caring
which was very reassuring.
I would 100% definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who needs help with childcare.
Fantastic nursery and fantastic staff.

My little boy started Little Pioneers Tavistock in January 2024 at 8 months as I was returning back to work, naturally I was anxious to leave him and worried how he would settle, the girls were so understanding and accommodating, I cannot fault them, they have been amazing. We are always welcomed with
a smile in the morning, updated throughout the day on how he is doing and given a recap on pick up. He now goes in with no problems with a big smile.
I love how many different areas there are for him to explore even at this young age, including the sensory and indoor garden room and outside space.
Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are all lovely. Thank you!

My little girl has just started going to Tavistock and all of the staff have made the transition over from a different setting as easy and as stress free as possible, for us both. The atmosphere every time I go into in the nursery, is so positive and the kids all seem to having the best time.

Best nursery by far, lasses are amazing great support, kind, friendly, great team.
My little one loves nursery and my oldest came here too, was a no brainer, always recommended Little Pioneers.
Lovely staff and kids all play lovely together, lots for them to do and be social butterflies.

Absolutely amazing nursery! My little one loves it! I've already recommended it to my sister for my nephew. Staff are so friendly and go above and beyond! We just want to say to everyone at Little Pioneers Tavistock that we’re beyond grateful for all of the care and love you’ve given to our little one. She started when she was just a little baby when we came out of the crazy lockdown. You have played a huge role in her development, and she’s learnt so
much and become such a confident social butterfly! Your advice on how we can support her development at home has been incredible. We’re especially grateful for your understanding and support when it’s come to our little ones allergies.
We all absolutely adore you all and would recommend the nursery to anyone. If we have another little one we’ll be back!

I’ve been with the nursery for 2 months and I’ve had nothing but a great experience! My child enjoys going in, he is himself there which is a great sign that he is comfortable and he is happy when I go to pick him up. The staff are very nice and welcoming and always happy to listen to you and give you
advice or listen and do what I need for my son! They are amazing! I couldn’t recommend that nursery enough! They communicate throughout the day and it’s amazing, I get excited for my child to go to nursery to see what he gets up to throughout the day instead of being worried they are doing this and that it’s so relaxed and they listen! Such a brilliant nursery

I don't have enough good things to say about the nursery and staff.
My daughter started in February 2022, and she is absolutely thriving; the staff encourage her development every step of the way.
My favourite thing at the moment has to be how happy my daughter is going in from getting out of the
car; she runs to the front gate, once in, heads straight for her room. She has an amazing bond with the staff, and I can't thank them enough for looking after my little one.

My son started when he was only 7 months old and since then he has come on so much! Seeing my son's face light up as soon as he enters the nursery says it all! And it massively reassures you as a parent! You are definitely doing something right when these children are so happy to come into the nursery!
It makes parents leave happy and that's how it should be! This nursery is by far the best! Been amazing since day 1! Literally have not got one bad word to say about this amazing nursery and the staff! Thank you for everything and keep being amazing guys

My daughter has been attending Tavistock nursery in Sunderland for a while now. She loves it and has come on leaps and bounds since. Her relationship with the staff is lovely to see, they really care. They are worth their weight in gold. Our new arrival later on in the year will certainly be joining

Fabulous place, had both my children in here until they left for school and will definitely get baby number three a place here when the time comes, amazing staff and wouldn't go anywhere else for childcare. Both of my children thrived here, and fully enjoyed nursery time.

My son and daughter have both attended this nursery so we have been patrons since 2011 to the present day. Our daughter runs into every session so excited to be at “school” and that’s due to the environment and staff. You can’t really ask for more than a happy settled child.

Fabulous nursery! Both of my sons have attended 11 years apart and the high standard of care and early years education has not changed. The majority of staff haven't changed either which is always a good indicator of a healthy working environment. Both of my children have thoroughly enjoyed attending
and I go to work with peace of mind that they are both happy and safe. Friendly, engaging, enthusiastic staff and all-around excellent communication.
