This nursery is exceptional and received an 'outstanding' Ofsted accreditation in May 2018.

Situated at Whitley Lodge in the grounds of Whitley Lodge First School the purpose-built stand-alone nursery is well resourced and offers outstanding quality care for babies and children aged one year to four years in Whitley Bay.

Open plan rooms with a well-organised layout provide the children with free access to a wide and stimulating range of activities, whilst keeping the company ethos of creating a home from home environment.

The nursery also offers a breakfast club, after school and wrap around care with the school together with a holiday club for all.

The nursery is proud to have the prestigious Millies's Mark accreditation awarded in 2018, having this award demonstrates the nursery's commitment to going above and beyond the minimum requirements for keeping children safe.

All staff working directly with children not only hold a paediatric first aid certificate but are also competent in how to apply this in practice.

I cannot thank all the staff enough for helping my son fit into the nursery so effortlessly. He is so happy and loves going into the nursery. The staff are fabulous, friendly and dedicated and greet my son so warmly each morning. It is really reassuring to leave him in their care and each day, a comprehensive

I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Zone4kids - you are all brilliant. Due to work commitments, my two girls have attended Zone4kids and you have been fantastic, changing arrangements to suit us all at the very last minute. I love to hear the girls sing and talk about what they have
done through the day and reading the update, explaining what they have eaten and done so I can prompt them too. Thanks again.

My daughter always looks forward to going to nursery and that says it all. The staff are all incredibly warm, friendly, caring and responsible. Knowing my daughter is being so well looked after is tremendously reassuring. She is stimulated and entertained and it is obvious she learns so much. Zone4kids
is a vital part of her development, thanks to the efforts of the staff. We are both delighted with and grateful for, the high level of care she receives and would heartily recommend Zone4kids to other parents.

My boys love going to Zone4kids. I, as a mother, feel so much better in the knowledge that they are safe and happy. Every child has it's own needs and personality and I feel the staff treat each child as an individual. All the staff are just lovely and I will be sad when my boys stop going.

Zone4kids at Whitley Lodge is a fantastic nursery from our initial enquiry, staff were friendly and informative. The nursery provides super facilities, both indoor and outdoor. When you feel like someone else loves your little boy as much as you, you know he is in the right place. The way they speak to him and interact with him makes me so confident that he is well looked after. He has so much fun every day with a wide range of activities. He always comes out with a little
spring in his step and new skills to show us at home. The girls couldn’t be more supportive to our whole family. The pandemic has been difficult but Zone4kids really have made it so much easier. We are beyond lucky to have the whole team. They are just such a happy and welcoming bunch. I walk away everyday with a smile knowing he is in safe hands. I couldn’t ask for more.

Brilliant nursery, our daughter has been at the nursery for two years the staff are very friendly and caring. All the staff do a fantastic job and have really helped our daughter's development. Our son has recently started at the nursery and I can’t thank them all enough for how they have helped him
settle in - nothing is too much trouble. The professionalism is second to none and they have done an amazing job, remaining open and providing the same excellent level of care and learning. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has attended Zone4kids at Whitley Lodge before and after school for the past two and a half years. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we are very impressed at how they have continued to provide a wonderful service throughout the pandemic. Our daughter has also attended some of

Every morning when I drop my daughter off at nursery, she runs straight in and doesn’t look back. This gives us so much confidence that she loves being there. All the staff are really friendly and all make so much effort with my daughter when she arrives. She is also developing very well and is always

My daughter, who is 2 years old, is at Zone4kids, but my son was there previously. From the moment they started, both kids have loved it and we have felt happy leaving them with the fantastic staff, knowing they are going to be well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Zone4kids.

My little girl started at Zone4kids in May when we moved to the area. We didn't know anyone in the north east and my little girl is extremely shy and missed all of her friends from back home. It was a really hard time, but the staff at Zone4kids made her (and us!) feel so unbelievably welcome. They
have been so kind and they always greet you with a smile and great energy. The staff at Zone4kids are truly wonderful - I am so grateful we found such a fantastic playschool!

I would not leave my children with anyone else. I cannot rate this childcare any higher. They have looked after both of my children throughout the years and provide a loving and educational environment.

Both of my children have attended Zone4kids and now my youngest has started school, we continue to use the after school care here. All of the staff are lovely and make great relationships with the children. There's a great range of activities available and a great outdoor space, to play in. We also,
use the school holiday club. there are varied activities from day to day and my children always enjoy it. The food is varied and sounds delicious. We would not hesitate to recommend Zone4kids to anyone.

Absolutely outstanding level of support and care provided to my son, over the last couple of years. My son is four years old now and he has been going to Zone4Kids since he was 11 months old. He has been looked after very well in a very warm and friendly environment. He has thrived and developed great friendships and relationships with the kids and the team. They have advised me and helped me with
potty training, getting my little one to eat (which is not an easy task). I have had gorgeous ‘artwork’ and the out of school club during school holidays has great kids entertainment and something different every day so you know they aren’t bored.
The team are super flexible too. My schedule has changed several times and the team will try their very best to accommodate what I need. The facilities are clean and spacious with a homely feel. The outside space is great with the use of the school running track, which my boy loves. The food is excellent. I wouldn’t mind an invitation to lunch one day. But above all, they keep my boy safe and educated and he loves it and so do I. 5 stars.

My son has attended the nursery for three years and will continue to do so for a time yet!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. My son’s emotional and learning needs are met in the most caring and professional environment. I have found every staff member to be highly skilled and my son thoroughly enjoys
his days at Zone.
It’s been the best investment my husband and I could have made in our son’s early years.

We have used this nursery for both children. The staff are extremely good and have taken time to bond and form great relationships with our kids. Like any parent, we just want our children to feel safe, be happy, make friends and to learn/develop. Zone4kids ticks all of the above and I would strongly
