Every morning when I drop my daughter off at nursery, she runs straight in and doesn’t look back. This gives us so much confidence that she loves being there. All the staff are really friendly and all make so much effort with my daughter when she arrives. She is also developing very well and is always coming home saying new words and singing new songs. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter, who is 2 years old, is at Zone4kids, but my son was there previously. From the moment they started, both kids have loved it and we have felt happy leaving them with the fantastic staff, knowing they are going to be well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Zone4kids.

My little girl started at Zone4kids in May when we moved to the area. We didn't know anyone in the north east and my little girl is extremely shy and missed all of her friends from back home. It was a really hard time, but the staff at Zone4kids made her (and us!) feel so unbelievably welcome. They have been so kind and they always greet you with a smile and great energy. The staff at Zone4kids are truly wonderful - I am so grateful we found such a fantastic playschool!

Both of my children have attended Zone4kids and now my youngest has started school, we continue to use the after school care here. All of the staff are lovely and make great relationships with the children. There's a great range of activities available and a great outdoor space, to play in. We also, use the school holiday club. there are varied activities from day to day and my children always enjoy it. The food is varied and sounds delicious. We would not hesitate to recommend Zone4kids to anyone.

Absolutely outstanding level of support and care provided to my son, over the last couple of years. The staff are brilliant and always ensure, I have a full understanding of the daily activities my child is involved in. It is clear to me, that the staff are very dedicated and caring professionals. The team are super flexible too. My schedule has changed several times and the team will try their very best to accommodate what I need. The facilities are clean and spacious with a homely feel. The outside space is great with the use of the school running track, which my boy loves. The food is excellent. I wouldn’t mind an invitation to lunch one day. But above all, they keep my boy safe and educated and he loves it and so do I. 5 stars.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. My son’s emotional and learning needs are met in the most caring and professional environment. I have found every staff member to be highly skilled and my son thoroughly enjoys his days at Zone.

We have used this nursery for both children. The staff are extremely good and have taken time to bond and form great relationships with our kids. Like any parent, we just want our children to feel safe, be happy, make friends and to learn/develop. Both my children love it. They are always new and fun activities for them each week. All of the staff are super friendly and always very helpful with any requests or questions. They really do go above and beyond.

They have thrived there and the staff constantly go out of their way to make sure that they are supported effectively. The key worker relationship ensures they have a strong bond with an individual and my boys have both adored these staff members.
We love to follow their progress on the online learning journal and it is lovely to chat with them about what they have done. This supports them in sharing activities with us.
The variety of activities on offer engage them in learning and they love the access they have to outdoor learning. We would recommend Zone4Kids to all.

Meet the Team (1)
Jayne has been the Manager of Zone4Kids for over 20 years and brings more than 35 years of experience in childcare. Her career includes working as a nanny for local families, roles within a first school, and running a breakfast and after-school club.
Jayne completed her Early Years degree in 2010 while working at Zone4Kids. She has proudly supported and developed the staff team, helping to achieve two Ofsted Outstanding judgements in 2018 and again in 2024. Jayne strongly values the importance of promoting the very best opportunities and experiences, ensuring children at Zone4Kids receive the strongest possible start in their early years education.
In her spare time, Jayne enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
