This nursery is exceptional and received an 'outstanding' Ofsted accreditation in May 2018.

Situated at Whitley Lodge in the grounds of Whitley Lodge First School the purpose-built stand-alone nursery is well resourced and offers outstanding quality care for babies and children aged one year to four years in Whitley Bay.

Open plan rooms with a well-organised layout provide the children with free access to a wide and stimulating range of activities, whilst keeping the company ethos of creating a home from home environment.

The nursery also offers a breakfast club, after school and wrap around care with the school together with a holiday club for all.

The nursery is proud to have the prestigious Millies's Mark accreditation awarded in 2018, having this award demonstrates the nursery's commitment to going above and beyond the minimum requirements for keeping children safe.

All staff working directly with children not only hold a paediatric first aid certificate but are also competent in how to apply this in practice.

We were so happy to get a place at this wonderful and highly recommended nursery, for our son. He has been coming to the nursery since September 2021 and the staff are amazing with him (and us), from the very first day. He always finishes the day happy, well fed and wanting to go back again. He has
built close bonds with a lot of the staff and loves the freshly prepared food that is provided. It's nutritious, the menu changes each term to reflect the seasons and there's always a scrumptious dessert! The activities and learning opportunities are fabulous. We love it!

My son has been attending for four years and absolutely loves the place. He always comes here excited and happy to go. He even asks to go in the holidays. The staff are all dedicated, caring and passionate about their jobs. You couldn't find a more friendly, caring childcare environment.

My son has attended Zone4kids since preschool and loved it. He always leaves with a huge smile on his face and I always feel happy knowing he is cared for. The staff here are absolutely gorgeous too, always happy and always smiling.

Both of our children have attended Zone4kids and both thrived there. All staff have been nurturing towards our children and they have had such varied and exciting experiences. Our youngest one was particularly shy and everyone did all they could to help her settle more quickly. We could not recommend

Zone4kids is a great nursery. My daughter loves her time there. The activities they get the kids involved in are so diverse from games to animal antics to African drums. It's great.
Everyone is very caring and enthusiastic.
We as parents love how our daughter has progressed whilst being at the nursery.

My son who has been attending Zone4kids at Whitley Lodge for two years. The staff have gone over and above to make sure he's settled in and major efforts have been made to fix any problem that occurs. eg. after changing rooms at age two he got upset as children, teachers were different. To address this
one of his favourite teachers was moved to his room every day he attended so that he had someone he knew, which made a massive difference! They also do lots of fun activities, I'm very jealous. I have offered to swap so I will go to nursery and he goes to work, but he said no...

My 4-year-old has been attending Zone4kids since she was 1-year-old. I have always been delighted with her care and the level of learning aimed at her age range. A lovely bunch of ladies work here. You can talk to either one of them about anything and they go above and beyond even if you need childcare outside of their work hours. My kids love the food they serve and seem to eat more. They were so easy to register and be enrolled.
