This nursery is exceptional and received an 'outstanding' Ofsted accreditation in May 2018.

Situated at Whitley Lodge in the grounds of Whitley Lodge First School the purpose-built stand-alone nursery is well resourced and offers outstanding quality care for babies and children aged one year to four years in Whitley Bay.

Open plan rooms with a well-organised layout provide the children with free access to a wide and stimulating range of activities, whilst keeping the company ethos of creating a home from home environment.

The nursery also offers a breakfast club, after school and wrap around care with the school together with a holiday club for all.

The nursery is proud to have the prestigious Millies's Mark accreditation awarded in 2018, having this award demonstrates the nursery's commitment to going above and beyond the minimum requirements for keeping children safe.

All staff working directly with children not only hold a paediatric first aid certificate but are also competent in how to apply this in practice.

Great how flexible Zone4kids is in adding, changing days when available. Really good to provide holiday clubs and after-school clubs for older children too. Really like the healthy meal options too.

My daughter is almost 4 and has been happily attending Zone4kids at Whitley Lodge First School since the age of 1. The setting is everything you would expect a nursery to be. The staff are so patient, kind and loving to the children, teaching key stages that support and improve their development. Day
sheets let the parents know what activities have been undertaken and what food eaten. The varied menus are nutritious and the activities are a fabulous mix of fun and learning. Holiday club and after-school care is also excellent!

We absolutely love Zone4kids at Whitley Lodge First School! It is head and shoulders above any other nursery we've used and both of our little ones love it. The staff have such a lovely bond with the children and the food is really great and healthy.
