Very impressed by the care given by staff and the nutrition she receives from the food prepared fresh onsite.

Our daughter absolutely loves attending this nursery and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are amazing - so caring, supportive and genuinely invested in the children's development and happiness. The activities are fantastic, with a great variety every day, and we especially love all of the extra curricular activities they provide. It really helps make learning fun and gives the children so many wonderful experiences. We're also very impressed with the variety and quality of meals offered, which our daughter really enjoys. It's reassuring knowing she is eating well-balanced meals throughout the day. Overall, we would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for their child.

My child absolutely loves his days at Tynemouth Nursery! He especially loves the garden but enjoys all activities. It's clear he's got great relationships with everyone responsible for his care whilst he's there and it's always so lovely to see from the app what he's been up to and have a lovely debrief at pick up time.

We are very happy with Tynemouth nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and always make us feel welcome. They know our child so well and genuinely take the time to understand his personality and needs.

The atmosphere is very positive and homely, which makes a huge difference. Our child loves going in every time we drop him off, it's reassuring to see how happy and comfortable he is there.

The outdoor space is great and gives the children plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy being outside. We would highly recommend Tynemouth nursery to any parent looking for a warm and nurturing environment for their child.

My daughter's time with TN Caterpillars has been joyful, caring and engaging. She has thrived under Zoe and Adam's supervision and loves the variety of crafts, music, exploring their beautifully thought-out activities and mixing with her new friends. They arranged a day out for World Book Day and the bond within that group is the best you could wish for. She always eats well and it's wonderful to see what she's been up to in real time through the app. Their ability to cope with an ever-changing nap schedule is humbling! The kindness and compassion from wider staff- including Amy and Jess- as we navigated a health scare will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything, Team TN. 10/10

I couldn't be happier with how my daughter is progressing at Tynemouth Nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, caring and attentive, and my daughter settled in so quickly thanks to the warm and welcoming environment they create.

Every key worker she has had has built such a lovely bond with her, which has been so reassuring as a parent. They have supported her through so many important milestones, from learning to crawl and walk to supporting her with potty training.

They also helped prepare her for the arrival of her baby sister, which meant so much to our family and made the transition really positive for her.

The team truly go above and beyond. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent. My 2nd daughter will be starting this year and after my first experience with Tynemouth Nursery I have absolutely no worries this time around about how she will settle in.

My daughter started in the Catterpillar room in January 2026 and is thriving! She has been encouraged to crawl, stand, walk and talk and has come on leaps and bounds. Zoe and Adam take fabulous care of her and have a lovely, natural way with her. We're delighted with Tynemouth nursery so far!

The staff at Tynemouth Nursery (Preston Avenue) are lovely with our son and he really does love coming to nursery three times a week. He has come on so much with the help of all of the well planned activities that take place each and every day. We are so pleased to be able to drop him off at 7:30am as many other nurseries in the area do not allow this. Overall, we would highly recommend the nursery.

Fantastic engaged staff. Friendly and my daughter has developed and grown during her time. Varied activities, plenty of outside time. The staff always take time time to give an update on her day and send plenty of photos.

Of the staff and has made lots of little friends. We love hearing what she's been up to and seeing her run into the room at dropoff! We're very sad to be leaving!

Adam has been a fantastic key worker, and developed a lovely relationship with my little one. He's always happy to be dropped at nursery and they take good care of him while he is there. Staff a caring, and activities are varied and look engaging. He loved when he went for an outing last summer, so I wish he had the chance to do a couple more of those, but other than that I don't have any suggestions, just keep up the great work. The app is useful to keep updated.

As a first time Mam I couldn't ask for more. My baby boy has been coming since he was 6 months old and the staff in the Caterpillar room are second to none. The care and love they show for him puts my mind at ease and the amount of communication we have is extraordinary. Recommend 100 times over!

The staff at this nursery go above and beyond to provide the correct care and support for my grand daughter. As a child with a number of health conditions, the nursery as a whole has adapted and supported the care that she requires (this is ever changing) and nothing is a problem. The communication is fantastic and also the ability to navigate such complex situations with grace. I would also like to mention the fact that this nursery brings in instructors for lots of extra activities such as tennis, Dance etc.

Both of my children have absolutely thrived at tynemouth nursery Preston avenue, they love going in thanks to the kind and nurturing nature of all the staff, who made it such an easy transition into nursery. We couldn't be happier with the progress they have both made in their time here. We get lots of updates on the app throughout the day which is lovely to see!

As an ex-pat family with no additional support in the UK, we were very nervous for starting nursery but the staff have been absolutely wonderful in getting our daughter settled and for putting our minds at ease. Everyone is so welcoming and already feel like family. The daily updates and photos are so lovely to see, especially when the group goes out on little adventures. The genuine care and kindness shown by the staff towards not only the children but their parents is truly appreciated.

Tynemouth nursery have cared for our little boy from 13 months old. We were quite nervous in the beginning as he had never been away from us but the staff have been amazing from day 1. They were very supportive of us both during settling in sessions and put us at ease. They're genuinely so caring, try their best to accommodate our wishes and communicate very well daily through verbal feedback and the app (which we find super useful to know how his day's gone in terms of sleep, food, nappies and photo updates for reassurance). All staff members we've come across from management to care staff have a genuine interest in how our boy is doing, all know him by name and are always polite and kind. He's been there around 4-5 months now and really enjoying it, especially the outdoor play in the garden and messy play indoors. We couldn't fault them and would not hesitate to recommend them. I just want to write this as I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else and I would just like the nursery and higher management to learn from this. The nursery has some amazing staff and has the potential to be amazing. Unfortunately we ended on such an upsetting event. I do feel with some staffing situations addressed, things could be improved.

Excellent nursery, always accommodating and helpful. Both my children go here and have a great time and learn a lot and enjoy playing outside, the staff and manager are lovely. Never had any issues over the past 4 years.

The nursery team always go above and beyond to make sure your child's needs are met.

We are blown away by how caring the staff are, always ensuring they know and say hello to every child on arrival. They have made us feel like part of the family.
