Tynemouth Nursery

My daughter has been attending Tynemouth Nursery for roughly a year and a half. The building itself is welcoming and warm. It reminds me of a home rather than a nursery. The rooms are big and bright and welcoming. The staff who work there are kind, caring and funny. My daughter loves going to nursery. She has so much fun. She feels secure and safe and that is the most important thing for a mother, that they feel their baby is in safe hands and the baby themselves feels safe. There is a great, healthy variety of food. The outdoor space is big and has a little sunshade and a mini climbing frame and slide. There are also mud kitchen spaces. The extra activities are brilliant - from football to French. There is so much art and crafts and music. We feel lucky to have found this nursery.

Our son has attended Tynemouth Nursery for almost two years and we have been very happy. The staff are wonderful and attentive, the setting is lovely, the food is great. Our son has lots of fun and has thrived here.

This is a fantastic nursery - the staff are wonderful and my daughter loves spending time there. The environment is homely and welcoming and the staff go out of their way to make both parents and child feel comfortable and reassured. I would 100% recommend the nursery to friends and family.

My other little boy is 2 and attends Tynemouth Nursery full time. He is also really settled at nursery and one of the best choices I have made is to send him to Tynemouth Nursery.

My daughter is extremely happy here, the staff are great with her and very caring. The management are very involved and know each of the children well. I am completely confident in leaving her in their care and it’s been a joy to watch her confidence grow.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery at TN (Tynemouth Nursery). She is looked after by well qualified, kind and happy staff. The staff know her very well and I believe she is challenged, cared for and nurtured as she should be in a nursery setting. My daughter has flourished here and the staff are always on hand to support her when needed. The activities provided during the day are well thought through, carefully structured and always have fun at the centre. I would wholeheartedly, and have actively, recommended Tynemouth Nursery to friends.

Both of my children have attended Tynemouth Nursery and they have thrived there. The eldest is now at school and is extremely confident and settled thanks to the superb pastoral care which all of the staff provide. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My first child attended since she was one and stayed all the way until Pre-school. She has started school with no issues, and that is down to the staff at Tynemouth getting her so prepared for the transition. The staff were immediately welcoming and supportive of both her and my needs. They take a genuine interest in the children and their wider life and family. My daughter flourished and soon became a confident, independent and social child. She had many differing experiences, and I never doubted that she was being well looked after and more importantly having fun and learning. The building is so homely with excellent facilities, garden great for little explorers and outside agencies brought in for further development ( tennis/French/football/jitterbugs). Food is all fresh, healthy and varied ( better than I get). My 2nd child starts very soon and already feels part of the Tynemouth family. I did not hesitate to put her in Tynemouth as nowhere compares. Amazing staff and service.

This is a great nursery. They are always looking for ways to improve and new things to do with the children. All the staff are really caring, and I feel very happy about leaving my children with them. I know they are having a lovely day and are very well looked after. They do loads of lovely activities including football, yoga, sing and sign plus trips out. They let them play outside as much as possible in the fantastic outdoor space which my children love. The staff are keen to help if you have any queries or concerns. All in all, we are very happy with Tynemouth Nursery.

I could not recommend Tynemouth Nursery more! My son has now been at the nursery for a year and he absolutely loves going. The staff are all fantastic and I trust them completely to look after my boy. The nursery provides an excellent environment for children to learn, play and socialise with other children. They have regular visits from external activity groups that the children love and learn a great deal from and the meals prepared by the in house chef really are great. I am so pleased we chose this nursery!

My child was only here a short few months before she started school but she thoroughly enjoyed her time here. Staff were always informative and helpful. She was always full of excitement when we picked her up, telling us of all the fun things she did that day and the yummy food she had been offered! I was impressed with all the extra activities that this nursery had to offer and that we were kept informed with pictures and information on her daily activities. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, 5 stars.

She has experienced so many new activities and we are kept updated and supported.

I am so grateful to all the staff at the nursery, they are so helpful and very flexible with days and times. My son loved going there, they brought him on in so many ways ie friendships, learning a new language, hitting milestones. I was sad to see him leave to start his new adventure in reception. The staff truly went above and beyond for me and my son.

I was very pleased to have my daughter here, she settled in very quickly and the staff were very kind and informative.

Our son has loved his time at Tynemouth Nursery. He has really developed since starting 2 years ago. The staff are wonderful, rare to find little turnover, so you get to know them and so do the children. The house and gardens are lovely, and the activities keep the kids happily busy. Cooking, yoga and French have been highlights. Nursery management is excellent. We couldn't be happier to recommend the nursery.

Our daughter loves going to Tynemouth Nursery. She has learnt so much since being there and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The additional activities they run, such as sing and sign and Jittabugs are also excellent.

I have to say my wife and two girls have experienced only good things at Tynemouth Nursery. My four-year-old will be moving to school in September and all of her activities at nursery have made her confident to get started and meet other children. Our two-year-old has all of these activities ahead of her, and I would not want to miss them. The staff are devoted and well trained and in my opinion, have gone beyond what is expected. A wonderful nursery.

All of our children have attended Tynemouth Nursery and we have always been extremely pleased with the care provided. Each of our children have had great fun whilst learning and have made good progress over the years, academically and socially. The key workers support the children brilliantly and we have always found everyone who has looked after our children to be friendly and approachable. The Nursery provides a relaxed and homely environment which is exactly what we were looking for when choosing childcare for our children.

My eldest is coming to the end of his time at Tynemouth nursery and I thank staff for helping me raise the polite and confident boy he is today. I had originally planned to move my youngest for logistic reasons but unfortunately, no other nursery compares and (with a little help) we are leaving him at Tynemouth so he can have the same wonderful experience as his brother.
