I am delighted with the transition support Erin has received on moving upstairs with toddlers. Staff are very well equipped to deal with all aspects of the children's sense of dis-equilibrium. The attention that has recently been focused on the physical environment, both indoor + outside, is very pleasing. The range of evidence of contextually relevant + developmentally appropriate stimuli + experiences makes every day interesting, fun + challenging for Erin. Staff involvement in the charity + Halloween events were a real triumph. Fab to see the effort to be really inclusive.

Since my granddaughter's arrival in Sept '24 she has developed enormously and I believe the Nursery has made a big contribution to this. She is happy, comfortable and confident at nursery, even in times of transition and I think this speaks to the excellent relationships the teams have with the children.

A fantastic nursery with brilliant staff. My son has been coming along to Billy Mill since he was 9 months old and settled in very quickly, and bonded really well with the staff in his room. All of the staff are lovely, they really take the time to get to know each child and give a little update about their day via the app and at pick up time. All of the staff are kind and supportive. The facilities are great, there's a fab selection of toys and resources and a lovely outdoor area, too. The various activities are great and my son always enjoys his days at nursery. Everything is really well thought out - from the food menu to the activities and the structure of the day, we really pleased to have chosen this nursery.

My little boy has come on great since starting at nursery. The staff were very understanding of his shy personality. I can see from their interactions with other children that they personal and adapt to that child's personal needs. All of the staff are great and the graduation was very emotional. So much effort put in.

My little boy is coming to the end of his time at Billy Mill and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions we could have made sending him here. He has thrived SO much. You can tell that every single staff member, at every single stage of your child's journey, genuinely cares. He has made connections with one or two in particular and those staff almost feel like an extended family member! The office management team, cooks and maintenance staff also develop close bonds with the children, it really is one big team and we are going to miss everyone so, so much when it's time to start the next chapter of school! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery. They do so many additional activities and never, ever ask you for a single penny more than what you pay in your fees. My son loves going into nursery, he settled so quickly and they have totally nurtured him from when he joined at 14mths old. I'm genuinely so sad our journey is coming to an end :

We are very happy we enrolled our son here, he has come on so well since starting. We have seen a lovely improvement in his development. He really enjoys his days there and is always smiling and waving at the staff. They always keep us updated on everything that is going on. We have no worries whilst he is there, as we know he is being well taken care of and having the best time.

Everything about Tynemouth Billy Mill Nursery is excellent. From the moment we walked in we knew this was a special place. The staff are all incredibly warm, nurturing, dedicated and truly care about our son. They go above and beyond to ensure every child feels safe, loved and stimulated in their learning and development. I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and caring environment for their little one!

My child joined in January and loves it. She has come on so much already. All the staff are lovely and will go above and beyond. I love seeing her little updates and pictures on the app. I highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing nursery. The staff are so lovely and attentive. My child is very attached to me and finds it difficult on drop off for me to leave but the staff have her settled in seconds. Updates on the app throughout the day. She's always happy as anything on pickup. I can't recommend Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill enough.

We have been using this nursery for a while now and our child loves it! The staff and facilities are fantastic. Plenty of stuff to do and a very nice menu so every day is different. I would highly recommend this place for your little one.

My son has been attending Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill for around 6 weeks now and we have found all the staff friendly and helpful. He is still settling in but loves coming along so far, he has busy days and is comfortable being left with his key worker and the rest of the girls. Myself and his Dad are very pleased we chose this nursery for my son.

I cannot recommend this nursery setting enough. Every member of staff is wonderful, they always seem genuinely interested in how the children are doing, and always take the time to receive them in with time and care - you never feel rushed to drop them off. I also love the face recognition entry, and the app/diary system is great. Lovely to see photos of our little one enjoying themselves! The staff are also super accommodating with requests for the occasional ad-hoc extra day, and are more than happy to try and help wherever they can. They have been more than willing to accommodate nutritional and dietary needs, and are actually really understanding when it comes to children getting ill, being willing to take them unless they are genuinely too ill. Young ones tend to get snotty frequently, and I hear stories from other parents who have their children sent home just because they are snotty with a cold.

I have a daughter, who has attended the nursery since she was 10 months old now almost 4, and a son, who has attended from 10 months who is approaching 2, and they both absolutely love it!! The nursery have an app which is typically updated throughout the day with information on how your child is getting on which is brilliant. The girls (staff) are very approachable, attentive, very engaging with all learning/development needs and most importantly lovely with the children. The food that is served within the setting is of a good variety and having a child who attended with multiple allergies was managed so well with confidence. My daughter, who is in preschool has also taken part in many additional little trips which she has thoroughly enjoyed and I feel helped develop her ready for school. Both of my children love attending the setting and I would and have recommended the nursery to friends.

Since our son started at the nursery, he has come on so much. He clearly enjoys being there and is obviously very well cared for. The staff are amazing, friendly and very supportive. The environment is so relaxed and it just feels like we are leaving him in a family home. It's a fantastic nursery!

We've recently moved to the nursery after a negative experience with another one and it's worlds apart! It's clear how passionate the staff all are about their work and it has such a homely, safe vibe. Our little one loves going in and always comes home happy. The extra activities from external providers and even pony rides are amazing too!

Great nursery, so pleased with the progress of my daughter since she's been going there. The staff are lovely and the communication is really good with updates of what she's been up to each day and detailed reports on what she's learning. I've been really impressed with some of the activities they arrange including inviting people from outside to run classes with the kids, my daughter clearly loves it.

From the beginning of our child's nursery journey, we were instantly impressed. The staff are so attentive and know each child's needs and likes/dislikes inside and out. We love the interaction each staff member shows with each child and how safe we feel leaving our child in the care of the staff at nursery, little updates of our child's day via the app puts yourself at ease knowing you are able to keep up to date on their days at nursery, updates on events upcoming at nursery as well as photos. The support both ourselves and our child have received throughout our child's nursery experience has been exceptional. The staff go above and beyond for both parents and children and they deserve recognition for it. Our child loves attending nursery and we love him attending, getting him ready for the transition to big school. Thank you so much to each and every one of you, you all do an amazing job!

My daughter has been at Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill since she was 9 months old. It is a fab place with caring, supportive staff! My daughter thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and has learnt so much being there! Big shout out to two staff members in particular! They are both outstanding with the kids, they're caring, kind, fun and supportive! Everything you would want in a nursery worker so thank you! The only negative would be is the children aren't always encouraged to wear aprons when doing painting/messy play so their clothes can become very dirty and marked! When questioned about this they said they only had 5 aprons, could more be ordered?

My son is having an amazing time at nursery, he has come on really well, and now is even happy to leave me on his day at nursery. If we had the funds available, we would have him in more days, that's how good it is. I would especially like to recommend his key worker, she is amazing and very kind, and my son loves her.

I can't praise the staff at Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill highly enough! Our daughter has been here for over 1 year and has really thrived. She of course has had some times of being unsettled and getting used to nursery or moving rooms but this has been handled so well with such love and care. We've loved seeing the friendships she's made with her classmates and the staff who feel like an extended part of the family! Everyone within the organisation is really kind and helpful especially with dealing with funding forms etc. The activities for the children are fantastic and they often have external providers come in to provide special sessions. I know we definitely made the right choice of nursery for our child and look forward to seeing her continue to develop into the lovely little kind girl she is!
