Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newcastle

The nursery overall is a very nice place to be, the facilities are up to standard and their biggest asset - their staff, are extremely friendly and helpful. We get frequent updates via the ParentZone app which is very handy for letting us know what our child has been getting up to throughout the day, especially towards the end of the day before we pick them up so that we can plan the rest of the evening in advance.

Their meals are varied and encourages our child to try out new things frequently, and the app updates us as to what they've had and whether they enjoyed it or not.

They, weather permitting, go out for walks and teach the children about nature - a nice touch.

I feel that our child is very well looked after to the point that they are raring to go in the morning and reluctant to leave in the afternoon. We can rest assured that our child is in good hands and we can go about our day without worrying too much at all.

I cannot fault anything at the nursery.

My son loves coming to Little Pioneers. The staff are so warm and welcoming, and really take care of him if he is upset when he first arrives, or at any other point during the day for that matter!

There's real variety in the activities he takes part in, but they follow his lead in terms of what he wants to focus on.

I would not hesitate to recommend this setting.

But the financial policies are very rigid and does not account in human and health element. My son got a chest infection 3 times in 1.5 months and he did not go to nursery for a full month but I had to pay in full and nothing was adjusted for us.

Cannot praise this nursery enough, my son joined just before his second birthday and has come on in leaps and bounds. All aspects of his development are flourishing. The staff are absolutely lovely and it's a pleasure to see how much he enjoys it. Really love the app updates whenever he is in, provides an easy, effective line of communication between nursery and home. The nursery itself is just stunning and I fell in love the second I viewed it. The nursery rooms are full of activities, not to mention the gorgeous atrium and the outside space with a great view of all the trains (much to my son's delight!)

I love the daily updates through the app as well as the photos that absolutely make my day.

The staff at Newcastle Little Pioneers have been so understanding about my son being behind and having challenging behaviour but instead of making me feel like he was always getting things wrong like in the last nursery, they have been lovely and made me feel so at ease when dropping and picking him up, all my anxiety about leaving him in someone else’s care have been completely been removed since the first day of moving him!

My little girl goes to this lovely nursery part-time and she had settled in so well. The team at the nursery is wonderful everyone you meet is lovely with the kids and takes time to say hi and talk to you about your child’s day at the nursery. I was so nervous for my girl to start nursery but from the first day of her attending, I was already reassured that she would be looked after well. The updates from the app are priceless and allows you to stay connected to what your child is doing during her time at nursery. I love that they are honest about what she eats and tell me when she has not liked particular foods. One of the managers I have met often when dropping my daughter is lovely with her and very present in the day to day running of the nursery which is a positive thing. I am happy that my child is observed and anything that needs improving for her benefit is picked up and a plan put in place to support her, although it's not a small setting it has a wonderful family feel.

Fantastic nursery, the staff are very pleasant and caring and my son loves attending there. His behaviour has improved massively since he first started and he seems to have a genuine bond with certain members of staff. The nursery also caters well to his food allergies and it's nice to not have to worry.

Their communication with parents is excellent. My daughter misses her nursery.

All the staff are fabulous, especially his key worker. They always have different activities going on to help celebrate the events happening throughout the year. Would definitely recommend.

My son is very happy at the nursery and I am very satisfied with what he does there and how he's taken care of. The staff is lovely, and the fact that they provide me with updates and pictures makes it even better!

The nursery has become our extended family. My daughter has been going there since she was 1 and now she’s getting ready to start school in September. Honestly the nursery has provided a safe and secure place for a child to thrive and be content in herself. Thank you for all of your hard work.

My son attends Co-op Childcare Newcastle (Little Learners) two days per week and has a fantastic time. Although he sometimes struggles with being away from home, the staff do an excellent job of catering to his needs and interests, as well as encouraging him to try new things and socialise with others. The food is prepared in-house and is fantastic quality, while the facilities are cleaned to a very high standard. The nursery is extremely convenient to those working in Newcastle city centre. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone based on my experiences.

My child has developed well and her English language has improved as well. All staff are kind and friendly. I recommend this nursery to my friends. I really appreciate your patience during this pandemic.
