Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newcastle

The overall nursery is just amazing. From the natural theme running through the nursery to the everyday activities I always know my child is having an amazing time. It was very hard to for me to trust anyone to watch my child other than me but I could not have been more reassured with all of the staff. They are all amazing at what they do and are always eager to let you know what my child’s been like whist there. They cater to your needs very well from eating allergies, to even the specifics you choose for nappy training. I call them quite a lot with all sorts of queries and they are always more than happy to take time to deal with what ever I call about. I love that they have an app which is updated throughout the day when my child is in so I can keep a track of what he’s eaten/doing. It makes me feel like I’ve not missed out on his day. I could have not chosen a better nursery in my opinion and will be devastated when it’s time to move on to school.

The lovely staff at this nursery have cared for my daughter since she was one year old right up to the age she was ready to start school. I would highly recommend this nursery - the staff have always encouraged my daughter to progress at each stage and she undoubtedly has grown and progressed in ways she wouldn’t have without the nursery setting. The staff were especially great during the pandemic situation, ensuring that parents were always kept up to date and provided with options to suit their circumstances while remaining safe. The nursery itself has lovely play areas and facilities for the children, an excellent range of menu and I really like using the parent app to keep updated with what my daughter has been up to during the day. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was 1 and now we are getting ready to start school. Our daughter considers this nursery as a second home and we consider the staff as family. Everything is excellent and I am happy that my daughter grew up in a safe, happy and healthy environment.

This is a fantastic nursery. They have a great setup with varied activities and outings for the children and amazing meals. Our daughter really enjoys her time there. We’ve recommended to friends already!

My child will leave nursery this August and I will be very sad to say goodbye to the exceptional team that have cared for my son for 4 years.

We have found this to be a lovely nursery. The staff are supremely kind and thoughtful in how to make a nursery experience tailored to the needs and interests of our child. I have also been very impressed by the organisations response to covid. They seem to have taken great care to protect the mental and physical welfare of the children and their workers. I feel very safe and confident in having my child at the nursery. I love the daily updates and photos on his progress and I appreciate their consideration and actions on how to support my child's development. Also, my kid adores being able to see the trains from the garden.

Parents receive regular, informative feedback on their child's progress which is always useful - especially considering the expert knowledge of the staff who prepare these reviews. 10/10!

My son has been at this nursery for three and a half years. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time here. It is a friendly, happy environment for the children. I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic staff, my daughter is so settled loves going to see her friends and key worker. She always has lots to tell me about when I pick her up. Great place.

Wonderful nursery with highly trained and friendly staff. Extremely low turnover of staff. High-quality food. Our son loves it there. The only downside is there's no good garden but staff take them on walks nonetheless.

My child loves going to nursery - she has developed deep friendships with the children in her room. The activities she does are novel, exciting and educational and she has a real affection for the staff who take care of her. We appreciate the feedback in person and via the app, the meals are great, hours suit our needs and location is convenient.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was a little baby. I have always been happy with the lovely staff. We have been sad to see quite a few leaving recently. Overall, a very good nursery.

Have no bad comments about this nursery. I didn't think I'd be comfortable leaving my daughter with people I didn't know but all the staff are lovely, they all go out their way to do things and welcome my daughter every time. She now goes into nursery running and waves me goodbye and that's down to the lovely staff. They've helped cater for her dietary needs as well which makes me so much as ease! Would recommend this nursery every time I wouldn't even look anywhere else as soon as I went for a viewing of the nursery I knew that was the one!

Big thank you to all the staff at this brilliant nursery both my children have attended here and came on brilliant thanks to all the staff planning and organising fantastic activities. My daughter had recently moved up rooms and the staff have been great with continuing to get to know and settle here in. The routine of the nursery fit in very well and have gave my daughter great structure.

We are happy with the nursery because we can feel that our daughter is happy. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are clean and tidy.

The experience of my som being at the Co-op Childcare has been great. I feel my son has developed a lot in terms of interacting with the other kids. He is now more vocal. I also feel that my son is within a safe environment and the staff are really friendly.

We have loved our time at this nursery - our son is now 3 (and a half - he'd want that included!) and has been there since he was 11 months. He continues to thrive, with the wonderful staff both nurturing and developing him. He's enjoyed such a variety of activities, and is now developing his phonics, ready for school in September. It will be a wrench to leave - it has been so wonderful to leave him somewhere I know he is happy, adored, safe, and so well cared for. He eats well, has developed confidence and social skills, and comes home full of songs and stories and is excited for the next week.
