An outstanding nursery in Hull.

Situated in one of Bright Horizons' client settings, the popular David Lloyd Leisure Club nursery welcomes all families in the area and is easily accessible from surrounding villages in Hull.

All the rooms are cosy, bright, warm and welcoming with highly qualified staff in all six rooms.

Bright Horizons Hull Kingswood provides stimulating activities, which offer a wide range of learning opportunities. There is an enclosed outside area for all the children to access, with a special baby and toddler garden for them to play and explore.

Children’s wellbeing is of the utmost priority at the Hull children's nursery and they strive to develop all the children into confident little learners.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

All children have a key person. This enables children and their families to form a strong bond and build up that trust which is needed from the beginning.

The nursery has its own chef who works on site, providing fresh, healthy and nutritional meals based on a three-week menu cycle. The menu changes throughout the year to coincide with the seasons and caters for all.

With all-inclusive fees, which means less to pack on a busy morning, all the healthy meals and snacks are prepared by the onsite chef with nutrition in mind.

The nursery was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in September 2017.

We have been delighted with the overall standard and care provided by all of the staff. My child has developed and learnt so much during his time with Asquith.
We were very nervous to start with but our son has thoroughly enjoyed attending nursery.

Excellent staff, very friendly and welcoming to both my daughter and granddaughter. Both love coming to nursery. Food is outstanding and a varied diet. They are educated to a great standard. Can not fault the nursery. Value for money. Thank you.

Excellent nursery, the staff genuinely care for the children as if they were their own. My daughter started school with a very solid foundation from nursery. She could recognise numbers, letters, read and write her name and had started learning to read. She is now excelling at school and her attachment
to peers and adults alike.

Words cannot describe how amazing this nursery is. It has been a privilege to use Asquith Kingswood. Our daughter has grown up over the last four years here and I will be sad to leave for now. I applaud all the staff for there dedication and hard work.

I cannot rate Asquith Nursery highly enough, my child is so much more independently strong and has developed so much more confidence. All the staff are absolutely lovely and so easy to talk too, they really go that extra mile to make the children feel special.

My son has been attending nursery since July 2017. The welcoming in sessions were very helpful as this was the first time my son had ever been left and cared for by someone who wasn't a family member. As expected, in the early days there were some tears when he was left. However, after a couple of weeks
the crying stopped as I closed the door and now my son quite happily walks into the room and looks out the toys he wants to play with before giving me a wave goodbye. Cannot praise this nursery enough for the smooth transition and making my son welcome and enjoy his days.

Both of my children have attended Asquith Day Nursery and what a superb job they have done with them both. From small babies to pre-school children, they have both been given a fantastic start to their education. The staff are patient, fun and very hardworking and the nursery fully deserves its outstanding
Ofsted status.


A special mention to the pre-school rooms as they have taught my child to write and read through the use of phonics and play. A superb atmosphere and very professional staff

So happy that I chose Asquith Day Nursery for my son. All staff members are so friendly and always go above and beyond to ensure my son is happy. I love seeing and bringing home his amazing pictures that he often draws/paints. He is never bored and he's always telling me all his exciting adventures
he gets up to on a daily basis.
My son has recently started swimming lessons and all staff have been so supportive and cheering him on during his lesson, he now loves his swimming lesson. Not sure who will cry more when the time comes for him to leave.
Excellent nursery with excellent staff.

I regularly recommend this nursery to parents looking for a nursery place for their little ones. The staff are very knowledgeable, caring and friendly. They build up fantastic relationships with the children and their families. My daughter attended for 3 years and my son has just started. They have
both been involved in many fun activities and fantastic learning opportunities. I am not surprised OFSTED rated the setting as "outstanding" as it is fabulous!

My son started at the nursery in November last year. He started in the baby room and the staff in there were lovely, they helped him settle quickly and showed real love and attention whenever he was there. He moved up into the toddler room a few months later and all the staff were really good with settling
him into the new room and routine. He has made many friends while being there and is always excited to go in a morning and never wants to leave. This is all thanks to the great staff and atmosphere in the nursery, everybody greets him when he arrives and this makes him and myself very happy when I have to leave him.

I cannot recommend Asquith Kingswood Day Nursery enough. By far the best nursery in Hull! My son has been attending since he was 6 months (now 3) and has flourished.


He loves attending nursery and is never upset, in fact, he never wants to come home! The lovely staff have cherished and nurtured him

every step of the way. Love them all and will be so sad when he leaves!

A very caring and warm nursery, they always put you at ease when leaving your child. It helps that both my daughters love the nursery and I think that speaks volumes about the staff and their involvement with them. All the management team have been wonderful and bend over backwards to accommodate your

I took over as manager in January 2024 after 8 years as Deputy Manager. I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies and a Certificate in Early Years Practice.


I'm hugely passionate about providing a nursery environment that supports the emotional well-being of all children in turn allows them to thrive in all areas of their development.
