An outstanding nursery in Hull.

Situated in one of Bright Horizons' client settings, the popular David Lloyd Leisure Club nursery welcomes all families in the area and is easily accessible from surrounding villages in Hull.

All the rooms are cosy, bright, warm and welcoming with highly qualified staff in all six rooms.

Bright Horizons Hull Kingswood provides stimulating activities, which offer a wide range of learning opportunities. There is an enclosed outside area for all the children to access, with a special baby and toddler garden for them to play and explore.

Children’s wellbeing is of the utmost priority at the Hull children's nursery and they strive to develop all the children into confident little learners.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

All children have a key person. This enables children and their families to form a strong bond and build up that trust which is needed from the beginning.

The nursery has its own chef who works on site, providing fresh, healthy and nutritional meals based on a three-week menu cycle. The menu changes throughout the year to coincide with the seasons and caters for all.

With all-inclusive fees, which means less to pack on a busy morning, all the healthy meals and snacks are prepared by the onsite chef with nutrition in mind.

The nursery was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in September 2017.

My son loves nursery and that is down to his care worker and other carers he is looked after by. He is only 10 months old and I can already see how much he enjoys it.

Going back to work and leaving my son with somebody else was not an easy thing to do. Asquith nursery put me at ease straight away. I just knew that my son would be safe and that he would be looked after. My son loves it there. He has such good fun and they are always putting on great activities for
him! I could not imagine him being anywhere else.

Staff in the baby room are great. They are attentive, caring and are always available to chat through any issues I may have. My son loves attending. The environment is exciting, engaging and provides enough challenge to keep him occupied. The setting, on the whole, is welcoming, a safe and lovely place
to be. I wouldn't want my son to be anywhere else.

My son really enjoys coming to Asquith and I have seen his confidence grow lots. He has made many friends and has a very good bond with his carers also.

I am really pleased with how all the staff have helped to settle my little boy into the nursery. They have made me feel very comfortable and at ease with leaving him. All the staff are very helpful and answer any questions I need answering.

I took over as manager in January 2024 after 8 years as Deputy Manager. I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies and a Certificate in Early Years Practice.


I'm hugely passionate about providing a nursery environment that supports the emotional well-being of all children in turn allows them to thrive in all areas of their development.
