Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Dewsbury

I was naturally very anxious looking for nursery provision for my little boy. After all, I was making the all important decision of moving him from the daytime comfort of grandma's house to the hands of an external care provider. They say first impressions count. I instantly knew on our first visit that The Co-operative Childcare Dewsbury Moor was the one or us! It was clean, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere felt happy, calm and safe. The building is neat and smart and all rooms were well organised. The toys, equipment and furniture were all good quality and good condition. All members of staff are always pleasant, professional and caring. There appears to be a good staff to children ratio. Overall I'm impressed with this nursery.

I can honestly say I have been so impressed with my child and the care that has been given since she has been moved. Everyone has made her so welcome and she has really settled in really well. I have seen massive improvements in her progress and can't thank you enough for the great job you all do.

My son attends the nursery and he absolutely loves every minute of it ... he has a really close bond with his key worker which I think has really helped with his moving from the baby room and up. His speech has developed a lot since starting at the nursery and they provide so many activities for him to try and do and when I pick him up they inform me straight away of all the things he's done and it makes me so proud.

I felt it was important my children would receive outstanding learning in a stimulating and healthy environment. The Co-operative Childcare Dewsbury Moor Nursery is very structured in how it interacts with each class and has a set routine which is highly important yet delivers learning to each child tailored to their interest. I sent all 3 of my children to this nursery because they were fed nutritious food and snacks (full of variety), they have amazing staff that love their job and really show an interest in each child's development. Furthermore, it's parent-led! The feedback after each day places confidence in the organisation and the staff.

Brilliant nursery.

I would recommend this nursery to anyone. My daughter only goes once a week and just as much effort is given to her as much as the children that go every day. They make me feel safe and reassured that my child is safe a learning and enjoying socialising with all the other children.

My son is happy. His self-confidence has grown and he is engaging in different activities, mostly led by himself.

Excellent staff who take exceptional care of both of my children. Nothing is too much to ask. Friendly and safe environment. I love how familiar both of my girls are with everyone who works in the nursery

Where do we start? We are so lucky our son has been able to spend time and attend your amazing nursery for all these years and are so sad he is leaving. His key person has played such a large part in all our lives, especially our son's life. Thank you doesn't seem to even cover all the kindness, care, love, support and advice you have freely given over the years. We are saying goodbye but also knowing our son has loved every minute with you. Your thoughtfulness, advice, care and passion have been above and beyond. The amount of dedication is incredibly special. Thank you for all you have done over the years, we can not begin to thank you enough. You are amazing and your nursery is truly outstanding in every way.

My son is really enjoying nursery. His maths is really coming along. Thank you for his number book. He is trying hard with his numbers at home.

I am happy with my daughter's progress, she is coming home with new words and vocabulary, well pleased with her progress, very happy with all the staff.

To all of your fantastic staff, thank you so much for taking such good care of my son for the past four years. He has really enjoyed all of the times he has been to play and he has learned so much and developed great confidence. Staff have all been so caring, like family members and it never felt difficult to leave him as I know he was well looked after.

My son has loved playing with the mobile and says that's the best bit. He would like JESS to know that he will really miss her and that he's enjoyed helping him learn his letters. thank you all for giving my son such a great start in life and learning.

Thank you so much for making my daughter's time at nursery a fun and happy time full of lots of happy memories. You always go the extra mile and that means a lot. She has loved every minute and your care and support. I am sure will make my daughters transition to school a smooth one.

Really happy with the progress made. My son has settled and is growing in confidence. My son's key-worker is bringing him on brilliantly.

My daughter has always been a very clingy child, so I was a little apprehensive in sending her and leaving her at nursery. The staff were amazing and helped build her confidence, she now loves coming to nursery.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough - the care shown by staff is fantastic and my daughter thoroughly enjoys her time here.

My son has started to bang pot lids, spoons and also books together. He likes the different noises they make and keeps searching for objects to bang together.

My son is really happy at nursery and has got a great relationship with his key worker. He really enjoys coming to the nursery and has made lots of friends.
