Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Dewsbury

All the staff at the nursery have been fantastic with helping my daughter settle into nursery life. They have all made the transition so easy and my little girl has come to love her time at nursery. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough to anyone who may be thinking about a new nursery.

My daughter has been with Co-operative since she was very young and her development has been amazing to watch. She has grown into a confident little girl more than prepare to start school. The staff are brilliant with the children and really take note of their interest and introduce that into their learning. They are always looking at ways to improve - the latest has been achieving Millies Mark. my daughter has 3 nutritional meals a day whilst here too. I will be returning with my next child and will happily recommend this nursery to everyone.

The team in the baby room do a great job looking after everyone. They do a great range of activities to help teach and learn with the kids but also have fun. Friendly staff who help make the most of the day for the kids. My daughter loves turning up and playing with her friends and most importantly the staff!

Absolutely love the nursery and staff. My son has really thrived in his time here. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. As a first-time mum it was hard to leave him but as soon as he started I knew he would be taken care of amazingly. I would recommend the nursery 100%.

My Son loves going to nursery, he has learnt how to use his knife and fork at nursery. He sings 'Wind the Bobbin Up' when we pull into nursery and gets excited. The staff at the nursery are brilliant with him, I see him wanting to cuddle the staff when he is leaving just like he does with his family. It is very reassuring.

My son is now in his last month of Preschool at The Co-operative Nursery after over 3 years there.

I currently work in education and I can agree completely with the Outstanding grading but outstanding every day. The staff are superb and a special mention to my son's key worker, who is brilliant. He has come on leaps and bounds with his learning and is now ready for primary school. The staff are superb and I will certainly be sending my next child there and recommending it to my family and friends.

I can not recommend this nursery highly enough. My little boy has been going here for 3 years since he was 9 months old, and I knew from the initial visits and settling in days that this was the nursery for us. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly, approachable and professional and the play spaces/rooms are all bright and colourful and well equipped for play and learning. Even from day one, there have never been any concerns with leaving our little boy there as we know he will be well looked after and have his needs met. Communication between the nursery and parents is excellent - always a quick bit of feedback at pick up time to say how the day went plus regular parents evenings to go over progress and a chance to see their files. My son loves going and has progressed well with his learning over the 3 years. He has a good relationship with his key worker and I know we will all be sad when it comes to leaving for school in September.

The teachers are very positive and teach the children good manners. They help in all activities, feeding, changing nappies and potty training and much more. It’s a safe and secure environment.

Would definitely recommend, my son currently only goes one full day a week and absolutely loves it there. Staff are good and try keeping you as up to date as possible.

Superb communication and support from staff. I have especially enjoyed the advice provided to help me help my 3 and a half year old at home. My 5-month daughter will also start soon and the registration etc has been stress-free, quick and very reassuring. We have been blessed with this nursery and I would recommend to any new parent.

As a way of improving support, I would ask for a more coordinated approach to homework for pre-schoolers. It is provided, but a more structured programme to support activities taking place at nursery would be very helpful. I appreciate the children are young and it is better not to place pressure on them to complete but my daughter enjoys the activities and looks forward to presenting her homework. The weeks we have submitted homework, the nursery has been very supportive and complimentary and I know this really helps develop my daughter further. We thank the nursery for these opportunities.

She settled in straight away because of the welcoming staff and lovely children there.
