The Garden House Nursery

All 3 of my children have attended Garden House and they have thrived as a result, the care, patience and attention from staff is amazing and I know my children are well looked after whilst ever they are at nursery. I’d recommend to anybody in the area looking for an outstanding nursery environment.

The staff at Garden House are absolutely wonderful. My daughter attends one day a week and struggles with being away from me, but she’s been in two rooms now since starting. All the staff have always gone above and beyond to help her settle in and are just brilliant with her. They always do lots of fun activities, including lots of learning, and get plenty of time to play outside. The room is always clean and welcoming.

The Garden House Nursery is a really lovely happy place to send your children. After struggling with settling in elsewhere my son flourished here, he made lots of friends and learnt a lot. I didn’t hesitate to send all my other children after the experience with him. They have all been incredibly happy at nursery and loved the staff and activities they do. It is so reassuring to have total trust in the people who are caring for your children. I highly recommend Garden House.

Our daughter has been at the garden house since age 1 when we both returned to work. They made the difficult transition to external childcare so much easier. All the staff we’ve spoken to are so caring, and our daughter now loves to go and talk about everyone in such an animated way. The activities are great, meal times seem a very sociable situation and if you ever have a question the key workers are always happy to discuss at pick up or drop off or arrange a more convenient time. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you!

Both of my children have attended Garden House Nursery. The staff have always been attentive and supportive and my children made close bonds with them. Communication with parents is brilliant. Daily updates on the app including photos of different activities they’re up to and if you ever want to go in for a meeting they make time for you asap.

Our 18-month-old daughter has been attending Garden House since she was 1 year old. The staff in the Poohs and Roos room have been incredibly patient, kind and supportive as she's adjusted to life at nursery. They were happy to adjust to our daughter's schedule when she first started, which certainly eased my worries as a first-time mum. We have loved watching her grow in confidence and develop new skills each week, all due in large part to her incredible nursery teachers. She is always happy and smiling when we pick her up, which is the most lovely thing to see as a parent when you're entrusting your child's care to strangers. We love receiving lots of updates and photos throughout the day on the App, so we're never left wondering how she's doing on a particular day. Lastly, we've been impressed with the themed weeks and curriculum, even in the baby room, and love that the staff manage to bring the children outside on most days. We're so glad we chose Garden House for our daughter!

Garden House is a brilliant nursery, I would have no hesitation in recommending it. The staff are wonderful, (so friendly and welcoming) and the management is very approachable and always provides excellent comms. My child enjoys going and has built some lovely relationships with peers and staff members. The drop-off and pick-ups are so easy and it’s so nice to get little updates from how their day was at the door as well as on the app with what they’ve been up to throughout the day. Staff regularly go above and beyond if there are queries/questions. They’re also great with mealtimes/snacks for any children with intolerances/allergies which is always peace of mind. An all round great nursery and I will be sad when my child moves up to school!

Truly an excellent nursery with attentive and caring staff my son has several developmental delays but the staff have helped him make huge steps in his development. With their help and support, I'm sure my son will continue to get better each day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Can’t be happier with my decision to send my little one to The Garden House Nursery. Super friendly and caring staff in Poohs and Roos room. They plan for lots of activities to entertain the kids. Managers are always helpful and easy to approach. My son looks happy and content which matters the most!

We really love the Garden House Nursery. My boys go twice a week and it is a highlight for them. They do so much great stuff and the staff are brilliant, both so warm and also very professional. The boys took a few weeks to settle, having spent much of their early life in lockdown, but the staff were so good at welcoming them. Now they rush in eagerly every day!

This has been a fantastic nursery for us. The staff are all lovely and we have been very comfortable leaving our little boy in their care twice a week for the last three years. He always comes home happy. It’s a great environment with lots of outside space and they encourage the children to go outside in all weather to play which I think is great. Fantastic staff supporting children throughout their early years of development. A vast range of activities organised on a daily basis which stimulates childrens' creativity and self-awareness. Also, a huge variety of learning of different topics is implemented in a structured and motivational manner. Applied high standards of hygiene throughout the pandemic, keeping children, parents and staff safe. Once again, thank you.

We have had a fantastic experience so far at Garden House Nursery. We chose this nursery because the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming and were clearly very experienced. Both my son and daughter absolutely love going to the nursery; they love the staff and always do really fun activities during the day (both self-led and adult-led). They have both developed well in all areas since attending, and the staff knows them very well. The management has also been outstanding and always eager to help in any way they can.

We love The Garden House Nursery! All three of our sons have attended over the last 7+ years (they are currently 8, 5 and 2) and we’ve always been very happy with the care they have received. Many of the same staff have cared for all three of them over the years and it is lovely to know they are in such a stable environment (plus I believe staff continuity speaks volumes in terms of the quality of the set-up). My two older sons made the transition to school without any trouble, and I credit The Garden House with preparing them so well. The staff are wonderful, they genuinely care about the kids and know them really well. Granted it is not the cheapest nursery available, but I believe quality childcare is worth every penny for the peace of mind it brings. Highly recommended!

Our little one has gone to Garden House since she was nine months old for four days a week. Her development at nursery has been a pleasure to see. Our child has flourished and is extremely happy there. She starts school in September and we will fondly remember her nursery days.

We are so pleased with the care at Garden House Nursery. The staff are friendly and approachable and our boys have always loved going. Throughout lockdown, they managed the logistics really well and made it easy and simple to drop off and pick up. The online system is useful as you can see how much the kids have eaten for lunch each day. The staff are always available for a chat, if you need to talk to them and when my youngest was struggling with settling back in after the first lockdown, they were keen to work together and find ideas to help him. I couldn’t fault the care at all. They have a variety of different activities each day as well as extra tennis coaching and language classes, which are a real bonus. The preschool room really helped to get my eldest son ready for school and he moved quite seamlessly into his first year of school, with confidence. I would highly recommend it.

My daughter has been at The Garden house since she was 11 months old and she is 4 and a half now and soon to leave for school. My son started when he was almost 1 and he’s now 2 and a half and thriving in Piglets. We are so grateful to The Garden House staff for providing such consistently high-quality individual care for both our children. The staff are what make this nursery such an exceptional place: dedicated, caring, imaginative and diligent. The care you have continued to provide, throughout the pandemic, has been superb. Thank you so much for all that you do. The fees continue to go up (and up!) and I would ask again that parents are made more aware of how and where additional investments are being made in the nursery, its resources and the staff. The Garden House Nursery are brill both my sons have loved it and my youngest still goes. He always comes home excited to tell me what they have made and played. They really prepared my eldest for the school transition. Fabulous all round

Fantastic nursery. Very friendly staff who have time to talk and explain what the child has been up to (but are equally happy to handover the child and let you go if you’re in a hurry). Take great care of our child, provide good updates on all elements of their day (nappies/ meals/ naps).

Our eldest loved his time at the Garden House and we found it a brilliant preparation for school. Lovely facilities and really warm, caring staff. We chose the Garden House again for our youngest, against competition from nurseries that are closer to home and a bit cheaper – think that says it all. Recommend the Garden House, wholeheartedly.
