Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Tytherington Business Park.

The team of enthusiastic childcare professionals were proud to achieve a 'Good' rating in its Ofsted inspection in September 2016.

There is a broad range of facilities, from access to fields for outdoor teaching and rugby training sessions, to fully-equipped sensory rooms and music sessions by trained instructors.

The large outdoor play area offers a variety of activities and challenges for children of all ages, including a mud kitchen and large construction equipment.

Children from three-months, through toddler times to pre-school will find this nursery a stimulating and reassuring environment.

The unique 'Ready for School' programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, prepares the children for their transition to school. The fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

Best nursery.
The staff are amazing, very friendly.
The nursery is nice and big and very clean.
My baby loves it and quickly settled.

The staff are so friendly and we are so impressed with their professionalism.

I was very nervous leaving my baby when I returned to work, but the nursery staff were lovely and very professional.
The staff are very attentive and I am very pleased with the care my child is receiving.

I viewed 12 nurseries before finding Tytherington Day Nursery.
I knew within 5 minutes that this was the right place for all 3 of my children.
The warm, friendly atmosphere, staff and the outdoor area keep them happy all day.

All staff are very kind and loving towards my son and look after his specific speech learning needs.


Also, very pleased the nursery caters for his gluten and dairy free diet. Moved him up classes at just the right time.

I have had 2 grandsons attending this nursery. Both have been very happy and learnt a lot.


Obviously games and play - but behaviour, eating and variety of foods and lots of experiences.

Both my children have had the wonderful experience of attending the Bright Horizons Nursery.
More recently, with my son, he very quickly became besotted with his keyworker when he was in the 'baby room'. The feeling was very obviously mutual and I have enjoyed watching a bond grown between someone
who has loved him as much as a mother could love a child, giving me, as a mother 100% confidence with the care, compassion and treatment of him whilst he's there.
The dedication to the children is apparent with all the staff but when you hear your child's best friend is a member of staff, it's the best feeling.

This nursery is outstanding and I couldn't recommend it more highly. I have used this nursery for both of my children and after 7 and 1/2 years, I have not once had any issues or complaints. Not once!
The staffing team are amazing, the environment is clean and the children are so well looked after
and supported in so many aspects of development.
There are so many different activities on offer included in the daily rate and both of my children have become more confident and socially engaging.
The nursery team always have time to talk through any issues and support any particular needs or requests you may have. I have had a couple of occasions over the years when other childcare has let me down or when I've been unwell and needed a day in bed and they have been able to accommodate an extra day at short notice.
I viewed many nurseries in the area but this one felt right from the first time walking in the door!

Being a member of the Bright Horizons family has been great. My son has been taken well care of since he was 8 months. The team are really helpful and caring. I can't thank them enough especially for a period when my son was poorly and the manager helped me to diagnose his sleep apnea which made it
much quicker for the doctors to deal with. As a result, my son is healthy and happy. I would highly recommend this nursery to all.

My son has been coming for over a month now and has settled in nicely thanks to the staff here which are very good and experienced at what they do. My son is only 10months but they gave us plenty of free settling in sessions to allow him to get used to coming and staying without mum.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons in Tytherington since he was 11 months old and I cannot praise the nursery and the staff enough. My son loves it and will be really sad to leave this year, as he will be starting primary school. He has formed some really special relationships with the staff
and the children there. The nursery has a really personal feel and made my son feel so welcome. They have given me regular updates on my son's progress and the staff have been really approachable if there was anything I needed to discuss with them. I know he will now go on to primary school with the confidence that he will do well and I thank this nursery for helping towards doing this. Thanks so much for the laughs, the cuddles, the sing alongs, quiet times, play times, just to name a few.

Wonderful positive experience for both our little boys and for us as parents. Real care shown by all staff at all levels. They became almost extended family but also highly professional. We always felt listened to. Fantastic range of stimulating activities for the children and superb facilities and

My toddler really enjoys going to nursery. I feel like he is well cared for in a stimulating environment. The carers have bonded really well with my son and are genuinely interested in his development and well being.
In particular, he has an amazing relationship with his key worker.
I feel genuine

My two boys have been attending full-time nursery here starting at 9 months of age, since 2010. We have been absolutely delighted with the outstanding quality of care to date. Whilst we would expect that staff are highly qualified and professional in the service delivered, the genuine affection and
enduring relationships our children enjoy here are absolutely heart-warming. I can honestly say both my boys love attending. The wide-ranging activities that are planned for them are so creative and the music sessions are a firm favourite! The manager and her team work with admirable enthusiasm and we are so pleased with the choice we made to bring our children here. Well done to all the staff who make this setting such a happy, safe place for children to adventure in every day!

I have been working in childcare for 19 years, starting with the company in 1998. I joined as a Nursery Nurse and over time worked hard and became a Room Leader, shortly afterwards stepping into the deputy role, before moving on to be a Nursery Manager. I have been a Nursery Manager for 14 years and thoroughly enjoy my job role. I enjoy working as part of a team and inspiring my staff team. Looking after so many different families and over time becoming one big family. I love watching the children grow and develop and achieve their full potential and the journey that they make to prepare them for school. It is a very rewarding job and I feel I am always learning, each day brings something different.
