Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Tytherington Business Park.

The team of enthusiastic childcare professionals were proud to achieve a 'Good' rating in its Ofsted inspection in September 2016.

There is a broad range of facilities, from access to fields for outdoor teaching and rugby training sessions, to fully-equipped sensory rooms and music sessions by trained instructors.

The large outdoor play area offers a variety of activities and challenges for children of all ages, including a mud kitchen and large construction equipment.

Children from three-months, through toddler times to pre-school will find this nursery a stimulating and reassuring environment.

The unique 'Ready for School' programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, prepares the children for their transition to school. The fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

My son attended this nursery from 3 months old. With him being so young and having some additional medical needs I was very nervous about leaving him but I couldn't have asked for a better nursery.
He was always so well cared for and most importantly he loved being there.
We were so sad that he had
to move on and he still speaks so fondly of the nursery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Would definitely recommend this nursery! The staff have been excellent settling in our little boy as he struggled to adapt to the changes at first. He’s learning so much, and his confidence is growing month by month. If we have another, they’ll definitely be going here!

My daughter loves getting dressed and coming to Pre School which is a good sign in itself! The staff are friendly, polite and above all else caring and understanding which has been a comfort during such uncertain times. The nursery is welcoming, bright and spacious. The activities and learning that

My little girl has been at the nursery for over a year, I am very satisfied with the care she receives. The nursery staff and management show they have an interest in my child and that they care about her. If there have been any questions or concerns these have been addressed appropriately and increased
my confidence in their ability to manage.
My little girl is very happy to go to the nursery and I feel confident she is being left with people who she loves to be with.

Bright Horizons Tytherington has been amazing. When I first sent my daughter in January 2020 I immediately felt at ease leaving her in more than capable hands, from the very first day she has loved nursery and all the staff. The staff are on hand to answer any questions, discuss development and always
have my daughter's best interests at heart to ensure she continues to thrive and develop. The range of activities is amazing and reading and talking through what she has been up to each day is great. The way they have navigated the new guidelines has been great and still feel fully up to speed on what's going on.
There is always a friendly face greeting you as you arrive and saying goodbye at the end of the day. My daughter absolutely loves getting to nursery, running through the door with hardly a glance back at me and she comes out happy and excited at the end of every day - what more can you ask for as a parent knowing your child is happy, excited, cared for and stimulated every day!

With the new guidelines in place, I feel the management and staff have kept in touch with updates and info extremely well with regards to my children. My girls come home happy and full of stories about their friends and their day. What more could a mummy ask for?

Bright Horizons Tytherington has been absolutely wonderful. From the initial tour to the settling in process and return from lockdown, their continued care for my son has been outstanding. The nursery team are friendly and welcoming, taking the time to get to know my son and us as parents. They are
always available to help with any questions we have and are keen to work together to provide the best care and support system for my son. My son absolutely loves attending this nursery and thoroughly enjoys all of the activities there, he can't wait to get through the door when we arrive.

I highly recommend this nursery. My little girl has absolutely loved it here and has thrived. The staff have all been wonderful and it is a fantastic environment. The activities on offer are brilliant and there is a great choice of activities from music to football and multi-sports. Our whole experience

I love Bright Horizons. They have been great from my child's very first day. They have taken lots of time to really get to know him and understand his little personality. They have a very nice family feel and all of the staff are really friendly. All the facilities are great and they have also been
helpful around my working hours and have accommodated them very well. I don't have a single complaint and I'm very happy with my choice to send him here.

Obviously, you're always concerned and worried when your child starts nursery with strangers but I wouldn't have asked for a better experience for my son.
Every staff member dealing with my son has been excellent and has his best interest at heart.
I can tell he loves his time here and I wouldn't
change a thing.

We moved our son to Bright Horizons Tytherington in September 2018. I can honestly say we are so happy we did.
He has totally grown in confidence and seems so excited at every drop-off. He is learning every day and he loves the staff and outdoor areas. Would highly recommend. The only thing they could
improve on is the 30-hour funding - it still works out very expensive compared to other local nurseries but very happy overall.

My child has been well cared for with an excellent key worker. It is a scary time leaving a child at nursery with strangers but the enthusiasm with which my child speaks about nursery I can see they are both happy and engaged.

Positive. Really happy with the staff. Genuinely seem bothered about the wellbeing of my son. Settling in period was handled really well and sensitively. All three of our children have attended this nursery over the course of nine years, with the youngest having just left for school.


Our children all built up strong bonds with the staff in each of the rooms and loved going to nursery. We were always impressed with the range of activities offered,

from craft and baking and music to multisports and football and rugby tots.


The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere so friendly and welcoming, that I never had any concerns about leaving the children in their care. Finally, during a difficult time for our family just last year, they went 'above and beyond' to support us all. A fantastic nursery which we would wholeheartedly recommend!

My son has been going from 9 months old and he is now in his last month before starting school. The support the staff gave me when returning to work was wonderful with calls of how my son was settling-in which gave me great peace of mind. This has not stopped, with detailed handovers at the end of each
day. Now they are supporting my son in getting him ready for school with detailed activities and optional ones such as French and football, which he absolutely loves. A brilliant nursery and pre-school.

Positive first few months, very friendly staff and our boy has taken to the nursery exceptionally well. The home visits prior to starting were a good idea to familiarise our child with the staff, our sons not looked back since. He smiles when he arrives and dives into the staff's arms. He is tired and
sleeps well later that night.

I have been working in childcare for 19 years, starting with the company in 1998. I joined as a Nursery Nurse and over time worked hard and became a Room Leader, shortly afterwards stepping into the deputy role, before moving on to be a Nursery Manager. I have been a Nursery Manager for 14 years and thoroughly enjoy my job role. I enjoy working as part of a team and inspiring my staff team. Looking after so many different families and over time becoming one big family. I love watching the children grow and develop and achieve their full potential and the journey that they make to prepare them for school. It is a very rewarding job and I feel I am always learning, each day brings something different.

I have been working in childcare for 29 years and hold the NNEB qualification. I have worked both in nurseries and as a nanny for a family for 10 years. I joined the Summerfields Nursery in Wilmslow in 2001 as a Unit Manager for the Toddler Room. In 2007 I moved to Tytherington as Deputy Manager.
