Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Tytherington Business Park.

The team of enthusiastic childcare professionals were proud to achieve a 'Good' rating in its Ofsted inspection in September 2016.

There is a broad range of facilities, from access to fields for outdoor teaching and rugby training sessions, to fully-equipped sensory rooms and music sessions by trained instructors.

The large outdoor play area offers a variety of activities and challenges for children of all ages, including a mud kitchen and large construction equipment.

Children from three-months, through toddler times to pre-school will find this nursery a stimulating and reassuring environment.

The unique 'Ready for School' programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, prepares the children for their transition to school. The fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

The nursery staff are fantastic, especially in Babies. They have been more like family to my boys who have both formed strong bonds which is lovely to see. The amount of effort that goes into providing a stimulating and educational environment for the children is excellent and the attention to detail
of their care is reassuring as a parent. I would highly recommend the Tytherington Bright Horizons to all parents.

My son goes to Bright Horizons. He loves going to the nursery and playing with his friends. He started learning, sharing and caring at play and building good relations with his friends and caretakers.

I have 2 children at the nursery and I'm really happy with the care. The staff and facilities are excellent and any feedback/concerns I have are addressed. My youngest is struggling to settle in and all efforts are being made to help her settle, with a home visit and multiple pre-start settling in sessions.

My two children were made to feel very welcome and at ease as soon as they started. All the staff are very friendly and professional. They are very accommodating to extra hours that are needed. The nursery is very clean and an all-weather surface in the play area.

Such an excellent nursery. I have sent both my children here and I have never had any complaints or reason for concern.


Always such a friendly, happy and clean environment.


I have always picked my children up at the end of the day happy and they tell me with such enthusiasm what activities they

have done that day and talk so fondly about their key workers.

I can't praise this nursery highly enough. My little one started there last year having never been away from myself or my husband, and their 'settling in' procedure was second to none. They visited my little one at home on as many occasions as necessary and played with him until he was familiar and
comfortable with them. He has a key worker which is fantastic and the consistency is very reassuring for my child and my husband and I. My little boy loves attending this nursery. We have even had to increase his sessions as he misses not going. We also get a report card after each session and would recommend this nursery to anyone working for a nursery/childcare.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was eight months old. I would highly recommend the Baby and Toddlers rooms but the Pre-School lets them down.
However, there are new recruits, therefore, Pre-School is improving.

My 2-year-olds nursery closed with only 6 days notice at the end of March. Bright Horizons have been fabulous both in showing us around their fabulous accommodation, twice, and learning programme through fun and play etc. The staff have been very helpful with allowing our daughter to 'see' some familiar
faces of staff who have come from her old nursery to new jobs at this one.
She has settled in so well which has eased a major burden off my mind as it is not easy to settle a 2-year-old in a new environment. The room manager and her key work are fab.
We get a professional report of what she has done during the day including nappy changes, sleep times and eating habits etc.
We attended a lovely family meet and greet event on Saturday at the end of April at a local activity centre organised by the staff from the nursery.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. We went to look at several and this was the absolute best - loving and warm and friendly yet still very professional.

My son is loving his time at the Tytherington Nursery. He has been there almost full time since 9 months old and is now 2.5 yrs old in the toddler room. He is developing so quickly, gaining confidence and making lots of friends. He gets on with all the staff, loves running around outside and especially
enjoys the weekly music class.
The staff are all excellent, fun and very attentive. We totally trust our son to be cared for at the nursery and the staff also help him to develop, eat, speak, draw etc.
We would definitely recommend this nursery to all new parents and having had our daughter in the nursery preschool before starting school, we know our son will continue to develop quickly and be well prepared for school.

My son went to this nursery for more than 2 years. I found that the people working in the nursery sincerely cared about my boy. I knew that he was well looked after and I was comfortable leaving him there. He was happy and formed a strong bond with the staff. I could not imagine him not having that
part of his life: he would be a lot less happy without having social interactions with the staff and his peers.
I was amazed at how enthusiastic the staff was at inventing games and activities to keep children occupied and encourage their development. There are always things going on that are adapted to each age group and even adapted to their individual interests.

Overall I was so happy with the care that my boy was getting that when it came for him to move to school I had a lot of tears just because I was so sad to part with the nursery. I am so grateful to the people who made his life safe, comfortable, enjoyable and stimulating. In my advice, this would be my only recommendation.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1998

I have been working in childcare for 19 years, starting with the company in 1998. I joined as a Nursery Nurse and over time worked hard and became a Room Leader, shortly afterwards stepping into the deputy role, before moving on to be a Nursery Manager. I have been a Nursery Manager for 14 years and thoroughly enjoy my job role. I enjoy working as part of a team and inspiring my staff team. Looking after so many different families and over time becoming one big family. I love watching the children grow and develop and achieve their full potential and the journey that they make to prepare them for school. It is a very rewarding job and I feel I am always learning, each day brings something different.
