My little boy was left in a soiled pants for hours, which caused him a sore, red bottom and legs.
When I brought up my concerns in a meeting, instead of being met with understanding or even an apology, I was told my reaction was inappropriate. I was even accused of bullying staff - when all I did was speak up for my son. No parent should be made to feel guilty for protecting their child.
We trusted this nursery with our son's wellbeing, and that trust was broken. I would never want another parent or child to go through what we did.
When
A nursery should be a safe, caring environment where children are treated with dignity and their basic needs met-this was clearly not the case here. I would not recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a trustworthy, compassionate setting for their child. I am in the process of escalating this with Ofsted by providing them with all the evidence we have collected and documented.

I joined as a Nursery Nurse and over time worked hard and became a Room Leader, shortly afterwards stepping into the deputy role, before moving on to be a Nursery Manager. I have been a Nursery Manager for 14 years and thoroughly enjoy my job role. I enjoy working as part of a team and inspiring my staff team. Looking after so many different families and over time becoming one big family. I love watching the children grow and develop and achieve their full potential and the journey that they make to prepare them for school. It is a very rewarding job and I feel I am always learning, each day brings something different.
