Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) offers 93 childcare places in a supportive, fun setting. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm 51 weeks of the year except for bank holidays.

The nursery has a team of skilled, caring staff who work hard to ensure children are having lots of fun while developing new skills.      

The garden area has a soft play area along with a nature trail and gardening area where fruit and vegetables are grown.

Children are offered the same opportunities outdoors as well as indoors to ensure that they have the best possible start in the indoor/outdoor classrooms.

Healthy food is offered to children each day.

They also offer holiday club which is open from 9am-3pm Mon-Fri and children must bring a packed lunch. The cost for the day is £29. If parents would like additional hours these are charged at a rate of £7 per hour.

Absolutely love this nursery, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. My eldest, who is nine now, went here from the age of two and now my three year old attends and loves every second of it. The staff, the food, the facilities - everything about it is great. Such a friendly and safe place. Both
my children were brought on so much from attending this nursery and my youngest, who is one, will be going there too. Would recommend to everyone with children.

My son has been at the nursery since he was nine months old. He has now started school and being one of the youngest, he is shining and I feel it is down to the work he did in preschool learning the alphabet/phonics. The graduation ceremony was beautiful and very emotional. The team put their hearts
into their work.
My other son's transition from baby room to toddlers has been structured very well. He loves going to nursery where everyone has a warm welcome. They are flexible with working families.

My little girl has been coming to Runcorn Dunkys for two years almost. I absolutely love this nursery and the staff make it the place it is.
We moved from Runcorn to Widnes back in March this year but we decided to keep our daughter here as the thought of moving her gave my husband and I nightmares.
Even thinking about school next year and her leaving puts a lump in my throat.
I could not recommend the manager and this fabulous team of caring nursery teachers any more to look after any baby or child.

I have had two children attend Dunkys for six years and I have been so impressed with them.
Outstanding nursery with lovely staff who really get to know your children and interact so well with them. My daughters school commented on how ready for school she was and I feel this was helped by the excellent
standard of care she received in nursery and my son is also extremely happy and he loves the staff and his friends at nursery, the all-inclusive price is brilliant as you don’t need to worry about nappies and bottles, food and milk are prepared freshly on-site and the children have a lovely meal. They also really listen to parents and take on any feedback. It’s a lovely setting and id recommend to any parent in Runcorn looking for a nursery for their child. They are also very flexible with shift patterns/term time only and also are very accommodating and do all they can to help.

Honestly can not explain how great this nursery is. Honest, reliable and friendly staff. I have never experienced a day where my little one does not want to go in, she absolutely adores the staff and loves going in every day. Very secure which is very important. I would highly recommend have a look

My child has attended Dunky’s in Runcorn since he was a baby. The staff at Dunky’s are so lovely and have supported me and my child through so much! I will be sad to say goodbye in the summer when my child takes the next step in his journey moving on to school. I have another little boy who is older
and attended a different nursery when he was younger. Although the other nursery was lovely, as were the staff, I can not express how much Dunky’s excels. I have never felt uncomfortable leaving my child as I know he is in safe hands. Although some mornings he wants me to stay with him, when I have to leave and he becomes upset, they are there by his side comforting and supporting him. I sometimes stand outside of the room and watch to see that he settles before I leave. I see how they distract him with the things they know he enjoys and within minutes of me leaving he is calm. If I ever have any more children they will be going to Dunky’s and I really do recommend it to everyone.

I could not recommend Dunkys enough. From our first day, the girls have been amazing with my little boy.
He was 12 months when he started and they were amazing helping him settle in and also with me, helping me to adjust and feel happy and secure when leaving my little boy each day. I love to see him
get so excited each morning when going into nursery and the warm welcome the girls give to us each day. The nursery also provide great care and activities for all the children and also very good healthy balanced meals.
I really can't ask for anything more.

Dunkys have looked after both my little boys for the past five years and throughout those years they have come on leaps and bounds both physically and socially. I feel the staff at Dunkys go above and beyond to provide the highest/best education and care possible. Staff at Dunkys support both children
and parents in their worries, needs and routines. I cannot fault the management and the food provided at snack and meal times is outstanding.

A great local nursery with a nice family feel to it. My baby has been there for nearly one year and has made great progress. It has good facilities and really caring staff who take the time to get to know everyone really well.

I have had 2 children attend Dunkys Nursery Runcorn and would highly recommend it to others. The staff are amazing with the children and are always very approachable and welcoming. Both of our boys have thrived whilst attending Dunkys and this is due to the whole ethos and atmosphere at the nursery,
from management to the girls working in the different rooms. Communication with parents is good on a daily basis and also during parents evenings where we are well informed about where our child is at within the stages of development. The children also love getting involved with various fundraising events and special occasions on the calendar.
