Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn)

I have been so impressed with the nursery since our very first visit. The staff are brilliant, very knowledgeable and approachable. They went above and beyond to ensure my son settled in including his extra health needs into his care. My son always comes home happy after a fun day at nursery, he also loves the food!

I can not thank/praise all the staff members at Dunkys enough on how well my little boy has come on in the past few months of him starting. Would 100% recommended to all family and friends for childcare. All the staff are amazing with my son, couldn’t be happier with all aspects of my son's growing and learning.

I can't praise Dunky's Day Nursery enough for what they have done to bring our child on. A very professional and on point group of staff with fantastic facilities and an extensive range of activities delivered throughout the whole time our child has spent here.

The whole staff at Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) are so friendly and spend time getting to know every child. My child has gone here since he was 6 months old and has never not wanted to go. He has become a very independent child with lots of confidence and this has a lot to do with how he is cared for at Dunkys.

This nursery is outstanding from the staff and the care they provide. My daughter has attended since the age of 1 to present at the age of 4. I have never had any problems and my daughter is so happy to attend. Everyone is friendly and all the staff cater outstandingly to the children's needs.

My child has settled in extremely well at nursery after her mother being anxious, but my child gets very excited and starts clapping when you mention their key worker's name. The staff have been using my child's interests to help her settle and have answered any questions I or my partner have put forward.

We are very happy with our son's development since being in this nursery.

This is my second child to attend this nursery and I couldn't think of another place for my children to go. To hear my child telling me excitingly what they have been up to and eager to show me things inside the nursery is wonderful. The staff are amazing and are always very friendly and easy to talk to if you have any concerns.

Amazing place, my boy loves going into the nursery. Staff are caring, polite and helpful. Always a breakdown of what he has done during the day. Very happy with his progression over the years. Thank you to all.

My child thrives at nursery. They care for his development as a whole person, not just meeting development goals. He has made so many friends and loves coming to nursery. It would be good to have more contact with home about what's going well and what parents and staff can work together on, eg. building confidence and sharing.

Our son has attended Dunkys from 14 months old. We have experience of other nurseries but our son has thrived most at Dunkys. the staff are fantastic, including the chef, who gets involved with the children all the time (when not cooking, obviously). Our son is very advanced for his years through the hard work and commitment of the great Dunkys team. Dunkys retain their staff which speaks volumes. The other nursery did not and this led to in many ways it needing improvement. Stability in children's lives is vital in our view.

Both children eat everything put in front of them as the food is always homemade by the chef and really nice. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who needs to put their child in a childcare environment.

Absolutely love this nursery, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. My eldest, who is nine now, went here from the age of two and now my three year old attends and loves every second of it. The staff, the food, the facilities - everything about it is great. Such a friendly and safe place. Both my children were brought on so much from attending this nursery and my youngest, who is one, will be going there too. Would recommend to everyone with children.

My other son's transition from baby room to toddlers has been structured very well. He loves going to nursery where everyone has a warm welcome. They are flexible with working families.

I could not recommend the manager and this fabulous team of caring nursery teachers any more to look after any baby or child.

Outstanding nursery with lovely staff who really get to know your children and interact so well with them. My daughters school commented on how ready for school she was and I feel this was helped by the excellent standard of care she received in nursery and my son is also extremely happy and he loves the staff and his friends at nursery, the all-inclusive price is brilliant as you don’t need to worry about nappies and bottles, food and milk are prepared freshly on-site and the children have a lovely meal. They also really listen to parents and take on any feedback. It’s a lovely setting and id recommend to any parent in Runcorn looking for a nursery for their child. They are also very flexible with shift patterns/term time only and also are very accommodating and do all they can to help.

Honestly can not explain how great this nursery is. Honest, reliable and friendly staff. I have never experienced a day where my little one does not want to go in, she absolutely adores the staff and loves going in every day. Very secure which is very important. I would highly recommend have a look around to see for yourself just how great this nursery is.

My child has attended Dunky’s in Runcorn since he was a baby. The staff at Dunky’s are so lovely and have supported me and my child through so much! I will be sad to say goodbye in the summer when my child takes the next step in his journey moving on to school. I have another little boy who is older and attended a different nursery when he was younger. Although the other nursery was lovely, as were the staff, I can not express how much Dunky’s excels. I have never felt uncomfortable leaving my child as I know he is in safe hands. Although some mornings he wants me to stay with him, when I have to leave and he becomes upset, they are there by his side comforting and supporting him. I sometimes stand outside of the room and watch to see that he settles before I leave. I see how they distract him with the things they know he enjoys and within minutes of me leaving he is calm. If I ever have any more children they will be going to Dunky’s and I really do recommend it to everyone.

Outstanding nursery and out of school club. Couldn't be more at ease with my children coming here. My boys love it. They make every effort to make children feel welcome and comfortable. All the staff have a real passion for the children's learning, growth, care and safeguarding. Thank you girls.
