The women within this nursery made me feel so at ease with the transition of putting our little girl into nursery! Admits all the tears on both sides, our angel is now thriving and getting so good at being around people due to being in nursery and she's just loving it! Couldn't recommend the nursery

Our Son has been going to Dunkys for around 4 months now and he absolutely loves it, we had a little wobble after a month of so when he started to get seperation anxiety as we dropped him off but this didn't last long as he absolutely loves all the staff there, they are very attentive to him and quickly
learnt his name and his personality which helped us feel a lot better about leaving him in their care


The updates we get about him really show the amount of love and care they give to each child and the chef cooks for them like royalty, some of the meals they get make us jealous!


Since going to nursery he has came on a long way, constantly hitting his milestones and it feels like he has learnt something new every week which is a testament to the staff

My daughter started to attended Dunkys (Runcorn) in January 2026
I am thrilled to say with help from all of the wonderful staff my daughter has settled in well and is starting to build great relationships.
Since starting I believe she has received a high quality of care and this has impacted her confidence
and social skills massively!

My baby boy has just finished his first month at Dunky's and I could not be happier with our choice of nursery for him. From the minute we viewed it we knew it was the one, as all of the staff made such a good impression.


They have all made us feel so comfortable about the transition into leaving our

boy in nursery. Treating him as their own and providing us with constant updates and information. Even on his settling in days we could stay for as long or little as we felt comfortable.


Even now, he has only been there for a month and he is already so comfortable. I love how the staff know his personality already and are just so attentive to him and what he needs.


I couldn't recommend the nursery enough an am so grateful that he has a place he loves so much.

My children Love forest school. They love playing in the forest, creating imaginary games , making dens playing with the insects and creating homes for them.
They love nature and the staff at forest school, The staff couldn't be anymore helpful and caring towards the kiddies :) and full of imagery
play.
There is always something special to do at forest school. everyday i pick them up they are bursting to tell me about all the creatures they have met and how much of their lunch they have eat.
Bear has autism and the staff cater for his needs, as well as his focuses is enhanced by the imaginary play as he likes critters & creatures, dirty play, making dens and being in charge talking about /looking after the dinosaurs at forest school. Vogue loves to play with her friends and make nests for her birds , she loves learning about the forest and everything that lives in a forest.

I have been super pleased & happy with how the staff at this nursery have been with myself and my child. There has been reassurance from the day he started, nothing it too much to ask and my child loves coming which shows a lot about the staff caring for him.
It puts you as a parent at ease, and makes
the worry lighter.
I couldn't imagine my child going anywhere else now.
Excited to watch his skills develop at this nursery.

My little girl recently started at Dunky's and she is absolutely loving it. She hasn't left my side for the past 2.5 years, so I was really anxious about how she would settle especially as she often becomes upset when being left with family, never mind at nursery.


The staff at Dunky's go above and

beyond to make sure every child feels comfortable and happy. They take the time to get to know each child individually. What toys they like, what activities they enjoy and focus on getting them excited for their day rather than upset about being away from their parents.


In just the month she's been attending, I've already seen such a positive change in her. She's eating more (and even trying new foods!) and seems so much more confident in herself. The nursery has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I have complete trust that my baby girl is being cared for to the highest standard.


I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, it truly is the best.

My son loves going to Dunky's nursery and is always very excited when he sees any member of staff. They are all so enthusiastic and caring with the children and keep parents well informed of their childs developments and activities during the day. The children's Day is always packed with something fun,
from sensory play, arts and crafts to outdoor exploring, it's fantastic! My other children attended different nurseries and Dunky's is by far the best, I'm so glad I chose to send my son here. Thankyou so much to all at Dunky's!

Enrolling my son at this forest school was one of the best decisions I could have made for his education. After struggling to fully settle in traditional nursery settings, he settled very quickly here and soon began asking if he could attend more often.


He loves forest school so much that he often

role plays it at home, which gives me a lovely insight into the fun and learning he experiences with his friends and teachers. He has adapted brilliantly to being outdoors, has been ill far less than he was in nursery, and has made some wonderful friendships and memories.


I am incredibly grateful for the nurturing and supportive environment the team provide.

My son started Forest School just as he turned two years old and he loves it! There's no better place to learn than being in the outdoors and exploring. He always gets very excited when I tell him that it is forest school day! Would highly recommend!

If I could give 100 stars, I would


My son absolutely loves this setting. All of the staff are fantastic - L, H, and K are brilliant.


L, the manager, showed us around and patiently answered all of my husband's many "health and safety" questions (he was originally very concerned ), which really

put us at ease.


My son loves being outdoors, so this is the perfect setting for him. Not getting sick this winter has been a huge bonus too.


Although he currently spends all of his days at Forest School, I know they offer the option to split time between sites if that's what you want. For us, though, this setting has been perfect.


I only wish I'd moved him from his previous place sooner!

Everybody at Dunky's makes an extra special effort to know the children and they are treated with real love and warmth. Ruby is always happy going in
at the start of the day. She loves the range of different activities she does and the opportunities to learn through play.

Couldn't recommend this nursery anymore, the staff are absolutely amazing and show so much care and love to the children, still being so new to the nursery I was so nervous however all the staff have gone above and beyond to settle both my nerves and make my son feel so welcome he absolutely loves going
and made such great relationships with staff and new friends I'm so glad we made the decision to come here

We're so glad that we chose Dunkys Sankey for our two. The staff are excellent and clearly care about them as if they were their own. Communication at drop off and pick up is great and we love hearing about what they have been up to during the day. The children clearly love it there and are always happy,
sometimes running in without even a wave goodbye - which as much I'd love them to say bye, I'm so glad to know that they are happy and comfortable there! We couldn't recommend them more!

Our little boy has been with Dunkys Sankey since June 2024 and we couldn't ask for better. He is a wonderfully sociable and kind little boy and I'm certain a lot of it is because of the guidance Dunkys provides. Just a couple of heartwarming examples: I love that the children all eat meals together
like family like we do at home, they are aoutsode and learning about the world around them as much as possible to experiences we just couldn't provide like having a deaf choir come to share their music with the children!


In September he also had the chance to visit a local care home and really be a part of the community. He LOVED it. He is so well cared for and the staff are wonderful. They've even helped me through every single one of my neurotic first time mum worries. We love it so much that despite moving further away we refuse to move him as he loves the nursery so much.

Staff are fantastic they keep you updated with how you're child is getting on through the day including what they have eaten etc. They are supportive and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this nursery
