Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn)

After trialling a few local nurseries, Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) is a cut above the rest. The staff are so friendly and approachable, my little girl loves going here. Sometimes she even picks up her nursery bag and walks to the door at home to go! The platform/app they use is so informative, I can see hour by hour what my child has done/eaten etc. The main benefit Dunkys offered us is flexibility, as an NHS worker this is important too, it’s so hard to find childcare that doesn’t require set days.

My daughter started here at 8 months old and she’s come on leaps and bounds. She loves all staff, everyone is so friendly towards parents and the children. Always welcomed with a huge smile and the babies always smile back to the staff which is nice to see. I like how we are always updated via the app and if there’s any problems the girls on the desk are quick to inform you! My niece and nephew attend this nursery so I knew I was sending my daughter to the right place.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Everyone goes the extra mile to help and they really make all interactions personal. You're kept updated with pictures and what the children have eaten. My son settled in so well.

My son has come on in leaps and bounds, his speech has improved massively since starting in September.

Both my children, ages three and one attend Dunky’s currently. They both love it and have come on leaps and bounds. It’s fantastic for us as shift workers to have a nursery that is flexible with our days, takes away all the stress of finding childcare and reduces our costs compared to other local nurseries. My daughter has been attending Dunkys since September 2022 and she absolutely loves it! Such a lovely nursery with great staff and I know my daughter has the best time when she goes. She has come on so much since she's been there. Would highly recommend it.

Amazing nursery. My son loves going to nursery and most days doesn’t want to leave! He is currently transitioning to the next age group room and all staff have been amazing in helping him to adjust. His development and welfare are their top priority. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

If there was anything to improve on it would be the outside space, it does look very tired and could be made so much better.

My little boy loves attending this nursery, the staff helped him settle really well and he even asks to go on his days off, his development has come along even faster since starting. Staff always keep you up to date about your child's day which helps me feel at ease.

My daughter has recently started Dunkys Day Nursery Runcorn at 9 months old, which was a huge deal for me. I wanted a nursery who will love my daughter and cuddle her if she gets sad. The girls do just that and me and my baby couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a nursery which has a family feel, where every single member of staff knows your baby then Dunkys Day Nursery is the right place! I can’t thank them all enough for supporting my little family.

My daughter has been going to Dunkys Day Nursery since she was 7 months old, Dunkys have been amazing from the start and always update you to put your mind at ease. My daughter loves it she is now 16 months old, they’ve helped so much as she struggled to eat when she first came and was on prescribed milk etc, with Dunkys Day Nursery help and understanding she now no longer needs it and her eating has improved so much. Her communication is amazing I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic nursery, all staff are friendly, professional and give 100% to all children. My 1 year old son has come on leaps and bounds since starting end of May 2022 and I can't wait to see how much he progresses in the future with Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn).

5-star nursery and 5-star girls. I cannot fault this nursery at all, the girls are so good with my daughter, always transparent and informative. My daughter is always smiling and always doing amazing things whilst I’m at work. Also, they are so understanding and flexible if any personal circumstances come up! Thank you again for making my little girl so happy to be there and a big thank you to the manager who is honestly a credit to the nursery.

We initially sent our daughter to a nearby nursery and she was full of anxiety about starting. After a few weeks of trying to settle her in, we decided to try Dunkys instead. From the first day, they captured her imagination. We ask her to tell us what she enjoyed and typically she can’t remember. I know that she’s happy and absolutely loves going, which is what matters the most to us. Recently she had to stay off nursery and she sobbed that she couldn’t go. An incredible turnaround in only a few months from where she was. We are incredibly grateful to the staff at Dunkys.
