Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) offers 93 childcare places in a supportive, fun setting. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm 51 weeks of the year except for bank holidays.

The nursery has a team of skilled, caring staff who work hard to ensure children are having lots of fun while developing new skills.      

The garden area has a soft play area along with a nature trail and gardening area where fruit and vegetables are grown.

Children are offered the same opportunities outdoors as well as indoors to ensure that they have the best possible start in the indoor/outdoor classrooms.

Healthy food is offered to children each day.

They also offer holiday club which is open from 9am-3pm Mon-Fri and children must bring a packed lunch. The cost for the day is £29. If parents would like additional hours these are charged at a rate of £7 per hour.

My two grandsons attend Dunkys in Runcorn and both are very happy at the nursery.
My grandson, who is almost 3, moved to the nursery from another nursery a year ago as we were unhappy with the care.
All staff are amazing, they complete a detailed update via the app and when you collect the children,
always with enthusiasm and in a positive manner, this is what I like the most about the nursery - the staff.
The facilities are great and there are always some great activities to keep the children busy.
Communication is good and it is clear the staff take great care of the children.
If there was anything to improve on it would be the outside space, it does look very tired and could be made so much better.

My little boy loves attending this nursery, the staff helped him settle really well and he even asks to go on his days off, his development has come along even faster since starting. Staff always keep you up to date about your child's day which helps me feel at ease.

Amazing nursery, great staff! My son has the best time and I feel so comfortable sending him to this nursery while I go to work! The best place, management is great, the girls are amazing with my son and always do fun things!

My daughter has recently started Dunkys Day Nursery Runcorn at 9 months old, which was a huge deal for me. I wanted a nursery who will love my daughter and cuddle her if she gets sad. The girls do just that and me and my baby couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a nursery which has a family feel,
where every single member of staff knows your baby then Dunkys Day Nursery is the right place! I can’t thank them all enough for supporting my little family.

My daughter has been going to Dunkys Day Nursery since she was 7 months old, Dunkys have been amazing from the start and always update you to put your mind at ease. My daughter loves it she is now 16 months old, they’ve helped so much as she struggled to eat when she first came and was on prescribed
milk etc, with Dunkys Day Nursery help and understanding she now no longer needs it and her eating has improved so much. Her communication is amazing I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic nursery, all staff are friendly, professional and give 100% to all children. My 1 year old son has come on leaps and bounds since starting end of May 2022 and I can't wait to see how much he progresses in the future with Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn).

Dunkys nursery and all of their staff allow me and my husband to work in the comfort that our son is in the best possible care. We can trust that he is safe, happy and enriched every day. Both my children attend Dunkys and I couldn’t imagine them being anywhere else.
Extremely well run by the manager at the top, excellent management team and a wonderful group of girls. My boys love them. They have come on leaps and bounds under their care and my wife and I couldn’t be more reassured
when leaving them.
They are always looking to help and give feedback and support for not just the boys but also my wife and me.
I would recommend them to anyone.

5-star nursery and 5-star girls. I cannot fault this nursery at all, the girls are so good with my daughter, always transparent and informative. My daughter is always smiling and always doing amazing things whilst I’m at work. Also, they are so understanding and flexible if any personal circumstances
come up! Thank you again for making my little girl so happy to be there and a big thank you to the manager who is honestly a credit to the nursery.

We initially sent our daughter to a nearby nursery and she was full of anxiety about starting. After a few weeks of trying to settle her in, we decided to try Dunkys instead. From the first day, they captured her imagination. We ask her to tell us what she enjoyed and typically she can’t remember. I
know that she’s happy and absolutely loves going, which is what matters the most to us. Recently she had to stay off nursery and she sobbed that she couldn’t go. An incredible turnaround in only a few months from where she was. We are incredibly grateful to the staff at Dunkys.

I would highly recommend Dunkys as I feel the help and support for myself and my children has been addressed above and beyond. It feels more like an extended family. My children have come on leaps thanks to the members of staff.

My son went here from the age of one until school and my daughter is two and a half and has been at Dunkys since age one and still attends and loves it!
The nursery is so accommodating with my NHS shift patterns, it's such a massive help for me! Because of my shift times, I don't do many drop-offs
or pickups and sometimes I feel a bit left out of the loop but because of the app, I get updates on my daughter's day at nursery which I love.
My daughter has allergies and the nursery is brilliant with this, so much so that she has just received a dairy-free Easter egg from the nursery so wasn't left out when the other children received a little gift which is amazing!
All the staff I have dealt with have all been so lovely and caring.

An outstanding nursery. Simply cannot do enough for their children. When looking for a nursery for my little boy I was highly recommended Dunkys by everyone. I love it so much I decided to send my daughter before she turned 2. Both of my children adore Dunkys as well as all the staff.

Since starting at Dunkys my daughter has grown so much in independence and confidence. The way they interact with the children and how friendly everyone is when you go into the nursery and at drop off and pickups is really lovely. The main thing to me that makes this nursery stand out is the daily updates,
the progress reporting and the monthly events they put on for the children. It really is an amazing nursery and I’ll be sad when my daughter leaves to go to school.

Our daughter started at Dunkys in January 2022 and she has come on so much since starting! She absolutely adores all of the staff there and is thriving! I would highly recommend Dunkys to everyone. They have been so accommodating in relation to food choices and have been a massive help. Our little girl

My little girl has been in Dunkys for the past year and we could not have asked for a better journey. Thanks to the support from the staff in babies and tots her development during this time has been amazing. She absolutely loves going to nursery and has really bonded with all the staff. As she is moving
up to another room they are really taking the time to help her with this transition, which I am very grateful for. I have peace of mind every day that she is in good hands and would recommend the nursery to anybody.

As a mother who works in education, it took me a long time to find the perfect nursery for my son to attend! After all, it's a huge decision.
I wanted somewhere that offered excellent educational development but also somewhere that was warm and loving. I knew when I visited Dunkys, Runcorn I had found
that place.
My son has attended since he was 9 months old (when my maternity leave finished) and is now 18 months old, and thriving!
The range of tasks, activities and fun he has daily is great. He is always eager to go into nursery and never cries! The app allows me to see how his day is going and I'm always updated with pictures and read his notes to see what he's been eating, which is great.
The staff, simply put, are amazing! They genuinely look after your child as if it were their own. They are loving and caring - what more could you ask for?
I couldn't recommend Dunkys enough. The best place for my little one, 100%.

I have a little boy with SEN needs at Dunkys and when he started I really doubted my decision to put him into nursery due to his needs. Staff gave lots of reassurance and we persevered. Dunkys have worked with me since he started and has gone above and beyond to take care of my little boy. They have
given all the help they can and have an onsite Special Educational Needs Coordinator who is very helpful too. He now loves going to nursery and smiles when we park up outside. He really enjoys seeing his key person too. He also has special dietary requirements and nursery do really well to accommodate these. I cannot recommend Dunkys enough, especially for children with additional needs.
