Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn)

When my daughter started at Dunkys she was so little, she was shy and was just about hitting her milestones. She has been there for just over a year now and she has come on amazingly! Everyone comments on her speech, manners and just generally how clever she is, it is all thanks to the girls at Dunkys. My daughter literally begs to go to nursery and it’s such a warm feeling as a parent to know she enjoys nursery while I’m not there. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

My two sons started at this nursery just a few weeks ago due to their old nursery closing down, they both love it here and the staff are amazing. My eldest son asks every morning, "are we going to Dunkys today mummy?" My youngest son is showing signs of developmental delays and isn't yet talking, he has never really settled anywhere else, always cried when being dropped off etc, I have already noticed a change in him since starting here and he now puts his arms out to the girls to go in when we arrive and is now interacting with them, I couldn't be any happier about this. I will definitely be recommending it to anyone who is looking for childcare.

My little girl has been going to Dunkys since she was 1 and she absolutely loves it. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and cannot fault them on anything. All the staff are so lovely and friendly and always keep me updated on what she’s getting up to which is great. My little girl adores the girls too and always gives a big smile and cuddles when she sees them which is so lovely to see. Amazing nursery!

I couldn’t recommend Dunkys enough! The staff that work here are so dedicated to the children in their care and it’s absolutely heartwarming to see. My daughter settled so fast in their care and gets so excited to see her friends and teachers each day and participate in the fun activities that they plan for each day! It was one of the best decisions to send my daughter to Dunkys and I am so glad that I did, she has so much fun and the updates and pictures received are brilliant. I can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work.

Amazing nursery - I could not fault the nursery or the staff at all. It is such a lovely feeling to know your child is in a great environment with staff members who really show that they care and that they love their jobs. Dunkys is outstanding.

We absolutely love Dunkys in Runcorn. The staff are friendly and professional, they keep you up to date with your child's progress, the rooms are always clean and my daughter thoroughly enjoys it. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else. If you're looking for a nursery, Dunkys is the place to go!

The girls are absolutely fantastic with my daughter, constantly updating me on her progress with visual aids and wonderful comments. They constantly come up with new ideas and activities for the children. My daughter grins from ear to ear the whole time she’s there, I’m seeing unbelievably fast development in my daughter and it’s a massive thank you to the girls, they also happily and easily a custom to my daughter's food (gluten-free). Highly recommend Dunkys!

My son has attended here since April. There has not been one day that he has been sad about going in. He always greets the staff with a smile and has an extremely comfortable relationship with them. The activities he does in the day are always well varied, educational and structured. The food he is served throughout the day by the chef is excellent and proper meals are always given. The staff have a really good understanding of who my son is, his likes and dislikes and he loves it here.

I regularly recommend the nursery to friends with children looking for childcare.

Our daughter has recently started at the Preschool department of Dunkys and we couldn't be happier with how things are going. The staff are warm, welcoming and very friendly and for our daughter who is very shy, their approachable personalities have made things so much easier for her to settle. She goes in the morning happy and comes home happy! Which is so important to us. Dunkys stay in touch and provide updates with our child's progress and it's great to see our daughter developing the way she is. We would highly recommend to any parents looking for a high-quality nursery with a great environment and excellent Ofsted results!

My little one has started the nursery 3 weeks ago and the staff were so helpful to help her settle in. I couldn't believe how quickly she's adapted and I'm so reassured knowing she's in good hands. I would highly recommend!

Staff are great. The way they care for and interact with the children is wonderful. Always very helpful and understanding to individual needs. Awarded Outstanding for a reason, because they are in every way. A pleasure to have my child enjoy time with them.

My child started the nursery in October, staff are always supportive and friendly! Staff helped my little boy to settle in quickly and formed relationships with him and encouraging him to do things. Since he's started in the nursery I have seen him develop so much in such a short period of time, his communication is improving, he has become much more social, usually, he would just cling to me and not interact with other children or adults. Staff are always willing to help and keep you updated with your child's progress informing you of what they have and haven't enjoyed when carrying out activities. I couldn't recommend Dunkys enough to anyone, they have helped my little boy develop into a confident independent little boy, I couldn't thank them enough for all that they have done!

I cannot recommend Dunkys nursery enough all my children have been to the nursery and loved it. After a big gap between my eldest two girls, I was nervous about starting my youngest I need not have worried as Dunkys was just the same great place if not better. The staff are friendly, welcoming and caring. My daughter was quite shy to start with but she has blossomed and she is now a lot more confident in all aspects of her development.

The manager and the staff at Dunkys Runcorn are absolutely amazing! You are treated like part of the family at Dunkys as are the children. Our little boy has come on leaps and bounds especially since starting at pre school after being off through the pandemic. Communication is always great and the children clearly have such a wonderful time it’s no wonder they were awarded an outstanding report from OFSTED. We will be enrolling our new baby as soon as he is able to come!

Dunkys have gone above and beyond to ensure my son is happy and well looked after. He looks forward to going every day. The staff are amazingly friendly and can not do enough to ensure your mind is at ease. I could not recommend dunkys enough. Fantastic place.

Absolutely amazing nursery! I can’t thank the manager enough for a smooth transition for our boys from a childminder to a nursery and I can’t thank the staff enough for becoming part of our boy's experience there. They’re always talking about different members of staff and always saying who they want to see and play with. We haven’t been part of the nursery before the covid pandemic but all the steps and guidance the nursery provides to keep everyone safe is a step beyond. Genuinely not one bad word to say about anything or anyone at the nursery. We love it and more importantly, our boys love it. The manager is so helpful with queries and fees etc and upon enrolment at the nursery, they give a very unbiased view and tour and make it known that a child’s and parents preference/ settlement is the top priority. If you’re thinking about joining a nursery I urge you to consider this one as a top choice.
