Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) offers 93 childcare places in a supportive, fun setting. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm 51 weeks of the year except for bank holidays.

The nursery has a team of skilled, caring staff who work hard to ensure children are having lots of fun while developing new skills.      

The garden area has a soft play area along with a nature trail and gardening area where fruit and vegetables are grown.

Children are offered the same opportunities outdoors as well as indoors to ensure that they have the best possible start in the indoor/outdoor classrooms.

Healthy food is offered to children each day.

They also offer holiday club which is open from 9am-3pm Mon-Fri and children must bring a packed lunch. The cost for the day is £29. If parents would like additional hours these are charged at a rate of £7 per hour.

An outstanding nursery. Simply cannot do enough for their children. When looking for a nursery for my little boy I was highly recommended Dunkys by everyone. I love it so much I decided to send my daughter before she turned 2. Both of my children adore Dunkys as well as all the staff.

Since starting at Dunkys my daughter has grown so much in independence and confidence. The way they interact with the children and how friendly everyone is when you go into the nursery and at drop off and pickups is really lovely. The main thing to me that makes this nursery stand out is the daily updates,
the progress reporting and the monthly events they put on for the children. It really is an amazing nursery and I’ll be sad when my daughter leaves to go to school.

Our daughter started at Dunkys in January 2022 and she has come on so much since starting! She absolutely adores all of the staff there and is thriving! I would highly recommend Dunkys to everyone. They have been so accommodating in relation to food choices and have been a massive help. Our little girl
is so happy being there and comes out with a massive smile on her face. The staff are amazing and so loving.

My little girl has been in Dunkys for the past year and we could not have asked for a better journey. Thanks to the support from the staff in babies and tots her development during this time has been amazing. She absolutely loves going to nursery and has really bonded with all the staff. As she is moving
up to another room they are really taking the time to help her with this transition, which I am very grateful for. I have peace of mind every day that she is in good hands and would recommend the nursery to anybody.

As a mother who works in education, it took me a long time to find the perfect nursery for my son to attend! After all, it's a huge decision.
I wanted somewhere that offered excellent educational development but also somewhere that was warm and loving. I knew when I visited Dunkys, Runcorn I had found
that place.
My son has attended since he was 9 months old (when my maternity leave finished) and is now 18 months old, and thriving!
The range of tasks, activities and fun he has daily is great. He is always eager to go into nursery and never cries! The app allows me to see how his day is going and I'm always updated with pictures and read his notes to see what he's been eating, which is great.
The staff, simply put, are amazing! They genuinely look after your child as if it were their own. They are loving and caring - what more could you ask for?
I couldn't recommend Dunkys enough. The best place for my little one, 100%.

My daughter started this nursery as her previous one closed down, since starting Dunkys she has developed in her milestones amazingly! She loves all the staff in her baby room, it’s a fantastic nursery.

I have a little boy with SEN needs at Dunkys and when he started I really doubted my decision to put him into nursery due to his needs. Staff gave lots of reassurance and we persevered. Dunkys have worked with me since he started and has gone above and beyond to take care of my little boy. They have
given all the help they can and have an onsite Special Educational Needs Coordinator who is very helpful too. He now loves going to nursery and smiles when we park up outside. He really enjoys seeing his key person too. He also has special dietary requirements and nursery do really well to accommodate these. I cannot recommend Dunkys enough, especially for children with additional needs.

My daughter has settled in really quickly, she is so happy going in and when she comes out, this in my opinion speaks for itself.
The nursery is well managed and all the staff are really friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Dunkys Nursery has been very accomodating for me. I work shifts and my son goes to nursery when l am off which means different days every week. This is the main reason l chose Dunkys. Staff are always friendly and lovely.

After almost a year of having the pleasure of contacting Dunkys about a nursery place, we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Everyone there has been absolutely amazing with not only our daughter but also myself and her dad too.
Any medical issues that have come about, Dunkys have been
great with. Having her food a certain way for longer than the average baby and they've been amazing. The chef is an absolute star in the kitchen and always will make time to talk about things food-related.
Our daughter loves going and is raring to go each morning on nursery days and always has a smile when we get there.

My son started Dunkys (Runcorn) in September 2021. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. I love that they provide an app to keep me updated on my son's daily activities, food, sleep and nappy changes. They also sometimes provide photographs which are lovely and really put me at ease when he first
started. Their food menu is great, cooked by an amazing chef who provides advice for weaning and fantastic recipes. Each room is age-appropriate and has lots for the children to do each day. CCTV in each room is linked to the manager's staff room and the staff are really lovely and helpful. Thank you all at Dunkys.

My little girl is in the baby/toddler room, and I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Very attentive with her (6 months old), great communication skills and I love receiving the pictures of her playing in the nursery. Dunkys has also been very supportive of the weaning process that I’m currently
undertaking, and the fantastic chef has given me some great advice to use at home!

My daughter has been going to Dunkys for a year now and she absolutely loves it. At first, as parents, we were very worried about starting nursery as our daughter had not had a great deal of social interaction due to the pandemic. We were given lots of support and reassurance from all the staff who
were very understanding. Staff really listen to the children and incorporate individual interests into day to day activities, giving feedback to parents at the end of every day. I have and will continue to recommend Dunkys as a brilliant nursery with amazing staff.

When my daughter started at Dunkys she was so little, she was shy and was just about hitting her milestones. She has been there for just over a year now and she has come on amazingly! Everyone comments on her speech, manners and just generally how clever she is, it is all thanks to the girls at Dunkys.
My daughter literally begs to go to nursery and it’s such a warm feeling as a parent to know she enjoys nursery while I’m not there. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

My two sons started at this nursery just a few weeks ago due to their old nursery closing down, they both love it here and the staff are amazing. My eldest son asks every morning, "are we going to Dunkys today mummy?" My youngest son is showing signs of developmental delays and isn't yet talking, he
has never really settled anywhere else, always cried when being dropped off etc, I have already noticed a change in him since starting here and he now puts his arms out to the girls to go in when we arrive and is now interacting with them, I couldn't be any happier about this. I will definitely be recommending it to anyone who is looking for childcare.

My little girl has been going to Dunkys since she was 1 and she absolutely loves it. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and cannot fault them on anything. All the staff are so lovely and friendly and always keep me updated on what she’s getting up to which is great. My little girl adores the girls
too and always gives a big smile and cuddles when she sees them which is so lovely to see. Amazing nursery!

My son joined this fabulous nursery in March this year. From day one he loved it!
He has always been very happy and does not want to leave! As a mum, I am extremely happy with Dunkys nursery.
I have to mention their time flexibility, not many nurseries give you the option of different times to attend.
It has been extremely helpful to organise with my work times.
I would definitely recommend Dunkys nursery!

I couldn’t recommend Dunkys enough! The staff that work here are so dedicated to the children in their care and it’s absolutely heartwarming to see. My daughter settled so fast in their care and gets so excited to see her friends and teachers each day and participate in the fun activities that they
plan for each day! It was one of the best decisions to send my daughter to Dunkys and I am so glad that I did, she has so much fun and the updates and pictures received are brilliant. I can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work.
