Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) offers 93 childcare places in a supportive, fun setting. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm 51 weeks of the year except for bank holidays.

The nursery has a team of skilled, caring staff who work hard to ensure children are having lots of fun while developing new skills.      

The garden area has a soft play area along with a nature trail and gardening area where fruit and vegetables are grown.

Children are offered the same opportunities outdoors as well as indoors to ensure that they have the best possible start in the indoor/outdoor classrooms.

Healthy food is offered to children each day.

They also offer holiday club which is open from 9am-3pm Mon-Fri and children must bring a packed lunch. The cost for the day is £29. If parents would like additional hours these are charged at a rate of £7 per hour.

Since the first day, my son has loved going to Dunky’s. All the staff are brilliant with both the children and parents. The nursery manager has been most accommodating with my work schedule and has helped me with any childcare funding questions.
The food is amazing, it is all homemade onsite with
a wide range of meals.

Dunky’s Day Nursery Runcorn is an outstanding nursery, our daughter has been attending the nursery for just under 2 years and we are so pleased with the care she receives there. It’s a home from home and the staff and other children are part of her family. She speaks fondly of everyone and looks forward
to going.
She has come on so well with their support and guidance. We feel safe and happy leaving her in their very capable hands. The staff are understanding and flexible with our needs and they are always available for any questions we have.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for their child/children.

All 3 of my boys have been to Dunky's Day NurseryRuncorn. My son absolutely loves going in, never a tear shed before nursery. He is always talking about the activities they have done each day and always has happy tales to tell. The staff are all very friendly and keep you updated with what your child
has been up to. My son adores his teachers and they are always happy to see him in the morning. The staff work so hard to follow the interests of each child and I never have to worry that he isn't being fully supported to do his best.

Both my son and daughter have gone to this nursery since they were 10 months old! I honestly can't recommend this nursery enough my daughter was very clingy and wouldn't eat or have her milk when I had gone so I was really nervous about going back to work, we had extra settling in visits and the staff
made sure that we both felt at ease, she soon settled down and was eating all of the Chefs fabulous cooking(which made me feel so much better).
Both my children formed close bonds with all the staff and even though my little boy has left he still enjoys going the out of school club.
During the lockdown, staff would do zoom calls with singing, dancing and stories making sure all the children had a chance to join in and see their key workers/friends so grateful for the things they do.

My 2 children attend this wonderful nursery together. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since attending and is ALWAYS happy to go. The adventures that Dunkys take him on is just magical, we discuss his day and he can't wait to tell me what he has been up to with all his friends in preschool.
He is confident, happy, chatty, and soooo independent.
My little girl was just 14 months when she joined her brother at Dunkys in August. I was a nervous wreck leaving her in someone else's care as she was so young, but Dunkys have nurtured her and cared for her while I had to work. I trust them more than words can say. The activities that she partakes in are just wonderful and the staff are so knowledgeable about milestones and flagging up if they feel that there is a problem.

I have sent both of my children to this nursery, and I would (and do) recommend it to anyone! They are so dedicated, friendly and committed and make the nursery a fun and educational place for the children. The nursery manager and her team go out of their way to provide the highest level of care for
all of the children, and use imagination and creative ways to help the kids learn. My eldest required extra support for speech issues, and they were quickly identified and referred by their SENCO lead, and extra attention was given to support him on his journey. The food that is cooked by chef is delicious and nutritious, she even shares recipes for us to recreate!

Dunkys Day Nursery have always been amazing in our view. Feedback from our friends with young children is that they feel their nursery are only bothered about money first and foremost whereas at Dunkys it is extremely apparent that the children are first, always. Every single staff member is an absolute
delight to deal with and are always happy to help any way they can. We are so glad we chose Dunkys as our nursery of choice. The daily upload of what they get up to via Instagram is such a great thing to see also. Perfect in every way.

What a wonderful Nursery!
Let me start by telling you I reviewed numerous around the area, and this nursery stood out a mile. The staff were warm and welcoming, and my little boy now loves going to play with his friends. He has come on leaps and bounds thanks to these lovely ladies!

I can't tell you how pleased I am with my boy's nursery. They have been very understanding and flexible with us from the start, the staff are amazing with the children, and my child is developing really well with all the activities they do. Dunkys is such a fantastic nursery, I could not recommend it enough. The building is filled with beautiful crafts made by the children and is full of life and colour. The staff are second to none, the most caring individuals that really treat the children like their own. My daughter has loved every

Dunkys has been an amazing nursery - I would not send my daughter anywhere else. The nursery do their best to provide a comfortable, nurturing environment and completely succeed in this. The staff are second to none and excel in bringing on each child individually. Well done to all the staff and management.

The whole staff at Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn) are so friendly and spend time getting to know every child. My child has gone here since he was 6 months old and has never not wanted to go. He has become a very independent child with lots of confidence and this has a lot to do with how he is cared for

This nursery is outstanding from the staff and the care they provide. My daughter has attended since the age of 1 to present at the age of 4. I have never had any problems and my daughter is so happy to attend. Everyone is friendly and all the staff cater outstandingly to the children's needs.

My child has settled in extremely well at nursery after her mother being anxious, but my child gets very excited and starts clapping when you mention their key worker's name. The staff have been using my child's interests to help her settle and have answered any questions I or my partner have put forward.
