Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery and Preschool

My son has been at Kirkby Day Nursery for nearly a year now since he was 11 months old. It’s an amazing nursery and all the staff are lovely. My little boy has come on so much since he’s been there and loves going. It’s a great setting and they're always doing different activities daily with the children. Always kept up to date about things which is good. Good variety of healthy food for the children too. And it’s open long hours and all year round which is good if you work long hours etc. I couldn’t fault the nursery at all. Perfect in every way! If you're looking for a nursery for your little one definitely consider here!

Both of my children absolutely love coming to nursery. My little girl is almost three and looks forwards to her days at nursery each week. She loves the staff, has formed very good friendships with the children, thoroughly enjoys the range of activities each week (especially all of the amazing activities they do in toddler room linked to stories and themes) and goes in and comes home each day smiling. My little boy is almost one and only joined the nursery after Christmas. I was particularly worried about him settling because of the lockdown situation and lack of socialising since birth but he has settled very quickly and also goes in happily and has quickly formed strong bonds with the staff in the baby room. I am so very grateful for all that each of the staff at the nursery do for my children to ensure they are well cared for and happy. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the management team also do a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with young children.

Words cannot express how happy and grateful I am to my daughter's key workers and everyone else who looks after my little girl. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they ensure daily that she has separate meals and she is happy. She has recently moved up to toddler group which I was nervous about but her new keyworker is amazing also she sends loads of pictures home of her day playing. Can’t thank you you all enough for looking after my daughter so well.

I have never actually seen my child interact with other children (only child and lockdown pretty much since I moved to Liverpool). I recently saw her enter into a room of adults and children she had never seen and strike up a conversation with the adults and started playing with the other children pretty much immediately. I genuinely was quite shocked as to when and how she became this confident. I know that the environment that exists at Bright Horizons Kirkby is the kind of environment that promotes growth and development in children. My child was always very happy there. The staff are lovely and I made friends there. There was always happiness all around and the children seemed really happy and engaged. I would recommend this nursery very highly for anyone looking for the best care for their child.

My son has loved his time at the nursery and I would highly recommend it to any parents looking for a nursery for their children. The staff are amazing and not only support the parents making the transition into childcare but also so supportive to the children they always make you feel your child is very important to them.

My son attends Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery 3 days a week he really enjoys going to nursery, it has helped his development massively. When entering the nursery you feel warm and welcome by all staff. I would like to thank all the staff at Kirkby Day Nursery for everything they have done, my child is so settled now and enjoys going, I couldn’t imagine him anywhere else.

Our son has been in this nursery for a year and a half now and has come on so much. He loves going and playing, and we love to hear all about his day. The girls in his room can't do enough for him and are always ready to listen to him, play with him or help him if needed. When coming back after lockdown, we were a little worried how he would be after so long off, but the girls were amazing and put our minds at ease and our son settled back in like he had never been away. We wouldn't put him anywhere else.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. My little girl was so clingy before going to nursery and struggled with the first few weeks but the girls really helped put my mind at ease and helped her settle and feel comfortable. She now strolls in, without a care and tells me everything about her fun-filled day.

Outstanding Nursery - Highly Recommended

My first son is almost 3 and has been in the nursery since he was 1, my second son is almost 1 and has been in the nursery a few months. I would not want them to be in any other nursery. They both love going to ‘school’ (Nursery) and are thriving because of the development focus/fun and caring environment they experience here. I will be forever thankful to all the team and manager for looking after my boys whilst I work.

I would rate this nursery as the top. My firstborn attended from when he was 8 months old until he went to primary school, he is now 8, it was one of the best nursery’s then and still is now my 3 year old attends. I would highly recommend the brilliant staff and setting in nursery.

Highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for high-quality childcare. Being a new mum it can be a massive worry leaving your child to go back to work, I have always felt completely at ease from the settling- ins leaving my baby in the care of all the staff in this nursery. They are so attentive and show so much care and love towards my child as an individual and have always gone out of their way to meet her needs. I feel really grateful to be able to go to work each day with no worry about the care she is receiving. The staff encourage her development daily and she constantly amazes me with the things she has learnt within the setting.

After visiting many nurseries for my little girl, this one was by far the best. The staff have given both me and my daughter the time and support to enable her to settle in at her own pace. They are amazing. She absolutely loves it and just walks in and waves me off, which I thought I was never going to achieve a couple of months back when visiting nurseries. I have seen such an improvement in the past couple of months in my daughter and I’m so glad I chose this nursery.

After a bad experience at another nursery, I was very anxious and nervous about my daughter starting somewhere new. But I’m so glad I found this nursery! The staff are amazing, so attentive and caring, and I felt at ease straight away. They care so much about the children and about their needs and development, and you feel involved in every step. I wish I would of came here from the start!

Me and my partner are very happy with all aspects of the nursery. We are so pleased our daughter has settled in well and enjoys going twice a week. We have seen a huge difference in our daughter since starting and is she is coming on leaps and bounds. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I am extremely happy with the care and support that the nursery provides. The girls are so supportive and welcoming and from day one my child has loved going to nursery. My child has Down Syndrome and the nursery has gone above and beyond for us both, providing outstanding opportunities for learning and creating a safe and stimulating environment for my child. I could not recommend this nursery more due to their excellent caring and loving members of staff.
