Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery & Pre-school) is a bright purpose-built nursery offering childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Being located in the David Lloyd Club the children are able to utilize and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy.

There is a large refurbished garden area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The link with David Lloyd Health Club entitles parents to pre and post-natal consultations with a qualified Natal fitness trainer.

All parents registered with the nursery are entitled to a David Lloyd consultation which will support fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.

The nursery provides on-site car parking and is situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted April 2017.

Since my son started at the nursery in November 2021 right up until and including now. I have been very impressed with the nursery structure and all staff members. Everyone has been so welcoming and accommodating and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for both my son and my family. I have
seen a real progression in my cons confidence and understanding since starting at nursery and I am very pleased that I chose Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool after researching and considering several nurseries.

The nursery staff are all so kind, informative and welcoming. My son and myself were very unsure about nursery but after several taster days, I realised that he was in extremely safe and kind hands. My son soon settled into nursery too. The app that the nursery uses is very reassuring. I can see more
or less live what he's up to and the instant messaging facility allows me to communicate with the staff easily. I even get to see photos of what he is up to. He seems to be doing something fun and varied each week. It's great.

Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery is an exceptional nursery, whereby the staff, I feel, go above and beyond to meet the needs of each individual child. My son's main key persons are the most professional, caring, understanding and efficient team members and myself and my son's father feel 100%
confident in their and the other staff member's ability to help my son and also his peers thrive. The management team have always responded in a timely, professional manner to any queries raised and I couldn't be happier with our son's current development since he began attending Bright Horizons.

My child has been attending this nursery since he was around 10 months old. He loves going to nursery and always has the best time. All staff are friendly, understanding and very caring. I always feel at ease and comfortable leaving my child at nursery as I know he is in safe hands. His overall development,
learning and confidence has grown tremendously since being at nursery. Knowing my child enjoys nursery and is having fun makes me as a mother so happy and content.

Brilliant staff so accomodating. Kids absolutely love being here. 2 year old and 3 year old so they are in different classes but the staff do let them see each other during the day. They are both always happy when I pick them up. They eas well so the food must be great! Management is also great, so
accommodating of my needs, always greet any changes that I need to make which are genuinely last minute. Kids sometimes cry when I drop them off but the staff are so helpful and manage to make take them in happily.

After many weeks of worrying about leaving my child alone with strangers I can honestly say 3 and a half years on I couldn't be more relaxed about leaving my daughter with the absolutely lovely team.

Bright Horizons have been amazing with my daughter and more recently with my son. My daughter always comes home smiling and full of stories about her adventures at nursery. Her development has come on leaps and bounds and I have noticed her speech and confidence improved when she is able to come to
nursery. Lockdown was hard but the staff worked hard to mention links throughout the breaks. The staff are so warm and friendly and so passionate about what they do. We recently went plant-based and the staff have been amazing at adapting the nursery meals around. Staff communication is amazing too. I'd recommend this place to everyone. We love you Bright Horizons.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, such wonderful, kind and caring staff. My son loves coming to nursery and what a joy it is to see him grow and learn in such a fantastic environment, you can clearly see how genuinely they care for my child. The facilities are excellent with a lovely outdoor garden.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector.


I have worked in numerous schools, children's centres, Private Education and orphanages, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day.


My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting them.


I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
