Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery & Pre-school) is a bright purpose-built nursery offering childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Being located in the David Lloyd Club the children are able to utilize and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy.

There is a large refurbished garden area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The link with David Lloyd Health Club entitles parents to pre and post-natal consultations with a qualified Natal fitness trainer.

All parents registered with the nursery are entitled to a David Lloyd consultation which will support fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.

The nursery provides on-site car parking and is situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted April 2017.

My son has been at this nursery and preschool for over 18 months now and we are more than happy with his progress, even though initially he was only attending one day a week. They have been fantastic with the extra measures required during Covid-19 and very understanding when coming back after lockdown.
Now my son is in preschool and thriving he loves it! This is due to the wonderful team and their care and interest.

This is our second experience with the Nottingham Day Nursery, and I'm pleased to say it's been a great experience so far. The staff have been patient and have gone above and beyond to ensure our child settled in ok. It's also been great to see so many familiar faces around, 6-years ago which speaks

This is a truly magnificent nursery. The staff, without exception, are highly dedicated professionals who treat the children as if they are their own. There is a real sense of community and family here and this is echoed in the way the children respond so readily and lovingly towards the staff. The
settling in sessions are, without doubt, the most thorough and well organised that I have ever seen in any setting. Staff are responsive to children's needs and not only focus on play, but focus on learning in a structured way that is rarely seen in early years settings. The nursery is very well managed and management are always sensitive to your requests and respond quickly and in-depth. I have sent all three of my children to this nursery and could not recommend it highly enough.

My child has been attending the nursery one day a week. He has quickly settled in and picks up new skills every week. Knowing that he is safe and enjoying his stay at nursery has made my return to work much easier. I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

I am extremely pleased with the nursery and the progress my child is making. He has become confident, independent and happier since going to nursery. The staff here are very helpful and polite. I am happy with my child settling in here and having a read of his learning journey makes me more confident

My little boy has been attending Asquith for a little over a year in the pre-school room and as a family, our experience has been excellent. The staff are approachable, friendly and helpful. Any issues or concerns they've put our mind at ease straight away. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds
with social skills and speech development. I'd recommend Asquith to friends and family.

It has been an incredible experience for me and dad and of course my little one. The members of staff are very nice and caring and they made a very good bond with my daughter. Thanks to them, she is now completely settled and enjoys her time at the nursery. She jumps in their arms and gives me a goodbye
smile every morning, which I believe is the most amazing feeling I could ever wish for.
The management is amazing. They are very much supportive and I very much appreciate their support.

I am always happy with the care that is provided at the nursery. The new manager along with staff ensure the rooms are always delivering excellent feedback and updates on things they are working on. My son enjoys his days at the nursery as he always talks about new things they have done. Overall, the
quality of care and staff in the pre-school room is excellent.
I love the learning room and designated learning time to allow the children they split off to have some time to learn on topics.

We love the nursery and couldn't recommend it enough! Our son has settled in so well since starting here which is thanks to the time and effort. Every member of staff have put into getting to know him. I know he is in safe hands here and he loves the days he spends at nursery thanks to the fun activities

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My son enjoys being at nursery, he gets very excited to see his friends and enjoys all the fun activities that are set up. He loves playing outdoors and this is down to the fun and stimulating activities.

My son has been here for the past two years and I can't rate individuals any higher!
He is always happy (other than the odd toddler grumps) and I always feel comfortable leaving him, knowing he is in good hands. A special thanks to the nursery room this year, my son thinks the staff are as amazing
as I do. All the girls are great, so thank you.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector.


I have worked in numerous schools, children's centres, Private Education and orphanages, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day.


My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting them.


I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
