Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery & Pre-school) is a bright purpose-built nursery offering childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Being located in the David Lloyd Club the children are able to utilize and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy.

There is a large refurbished garden area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The link with David Lloyd Health Club entitles parents to pre and post-natal consultations with a qualified Natal fitness trainer.

All parents registered with the nursery are entitled to a David Lloyd consultation which will support fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.

The nursery provides on-site car parking and is situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted April 2017.

Bright Horizons Nottingham went above and beyond putting on graduation for the leavers this year. Such a lovely day for all the kids. Preschool looked lovely, and all the kids looked fab in their gowns and hats.
My son had the best years here, and you will all be sorely missed when he goes to primary
school.
Thanks for taking such good care of him, loving him, but most of all, thanks for potty training him.
I will miss you all just as much as my child will.

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery - it is warm, caring and well-managed and the staff are wonderful. We had had a bad experience with another nursery and the staff took time to discuss this with me which was much appreciated. The longer-than-average settling-in period gave time for my son to
get to know the staff and other children and also built my confidence in the nursery itself. It is a happy, positive and welcoming place and the staff in the baby room are brilliant - calm, friendly, super experienced and amazing with my son and the other little ones. I have full confidence that my son will be well taken care of here and that means everything!

It has been just over a year since my child started at Bright Horizons. He started following a negative experience at another nursery so I was already very sceptical. However the whole team put my mind at ease by ensuring he had enough settling in sessions. I already saw a positive change in his behaviour
in the first few weeks. My child absolutely loves attending nursery and goes in with open arms and a huge smile on his face. The staff and management always go above and beyond when it comes to care and development. Management are so friendly and welcoming. The nursery is very clean and always has a fresh new look when it comes to special occasions. My child can be fussy with food but not when it comes to nursery meal times as there is a huge variety which I love. The app is always updated with his development and pictures which is so helpful. I would 100% recommend this nursery. It is a great place for your child to develop, flourish and the whole team are just incredible.

My son has come on leaps and bounds in the 9 months or so since he started. I've felt so comfortable leaving him here knowing he will have fun and be looked after by an experienced and caring team.

I knew I would be sending my children here long before I was even pregnant. I didn't need to view or see any other places. I wasn't wrong. This was the best decision we have made for our son and daughter. They have been nothing but helpful, amazing and understanding. Helped us so much with our children.
The staff members are always happy and welcoming. I wouldn't change anything! 10/10.

My daughter has attended Bright Horizons for a while and she has settled well. We enjoy regular feedback on her activities, eating and sleeping from the staff who have been very helpful in answering questions and discussing issues about her. She appears to enjoy her time in nursery and be involved with
lots of activities and interacting with other children and staff. The app has been very helpful in seeing this and I enjoy watching videos and photos of her. Overall, really impressed with the calm, professionalism of the staff.

My little girl loves coming to nursery and doesn't want to come home at the end of the day! She recently moved rooms and her new key person is just as lovely as the girls she's been with previously! All of the staff here are so kind and helpful and really love the activities they create for the children,
they have taught my little girl so much, she surprises me with something new every week and I couldn't be more pleased with the setting.

The nursery has an excellent way of approaching the children and parents. They are very kind, friendly, approachable and caring. They spend time talking to you about your child's improvements or difficulties that they may observe and they listen to what you have to say in regard to planning how they

The most differentiating experience I had with Bright Horizons, is the kindness and compassion of the staff members. I had experiences with other nurseries, where they treat parents like criminals and the place is like prison. At Bright Horizons, they have always been understanding, easy to approach

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector.


I have worked in numerous schools, children's centres, Private Education and orphanages, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day.


My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting them.


I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
