Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery & Pre-school) is a bright purpose-built nursery offering childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Being located in the David Lloyd Club the children are able to utilize and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy.

There is a large refurbished garden area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The link with David Lloyd Health Club entitles parents to pre and post-natal consultations with a qualified Natal fitness trainer.

All parents registered with the nursery are entitled to a David Lloyd consultation which will support fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.

The nursery provides on-site car parking and is situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted April 2017.

I absolutely love this nursery and all the staff involved. Two of my children have attended since they were 2 years old and I couldn't fault a single thing about their care. The staff are friendly and attentive, they offer varied and healthy meals and my children have loved them. I recommend to everyone,

Couldn't ask for a better preschool. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The preschool staff are always coming up with really engaging and fun learning activities for all of the children to do. My child loves it. Such a positive environment.

Overall, my high expectations of this nursery has not been let down. I find my son has settled very well and always seems to enter and leave the nursery with a smile on his face. I find the staff very friendly and very thorough. They always keep me updated with how my son has got on throughout the day
and update the app with what he's ate etc and photos. I am so pleased with the service I am receiving and my son is also very comfortable.

I love how my son has settled into the preschool so quickly. We were concerned how he would cope being away from home after the pandemic lockdowns. It's great that the team are sensitive to this topic, ensuring we are always updated on how he is doing.

The girls in this nursery are wonderful. My daughter attends this bright, positive, welcoming nursery. I leave my daughter in the care of these girls, while I go to work and I do that with 100% confidence, that they genuinely love and care for every single child in their setting. My son also attended
here until recently and they both thrive in this environment. The care is second to none by all, even the lovely chef! I highly recommend this nursery.

My wife and I are very happy with the level of care that our son receives from the wonderful team headed by three members of staff in particular. We love the daily updates of our son's time at nursery on the app and seeing pictures of him. Our son loves nursery and has come on leaps and bounds in his
development, thanks to the team. We love to see he enjoys himself, eats well, gets his sleeps and generally loves coming to nursery. We are also very grateful for the advice we are given, to coordinate our efforts with nursery.

My son has been doing two settling in sessions a week for the past few months, before starting in May. All the staff have been so welcoming and accommodating and my son seems to have settled in very well. I feel very comfortable about him attending for full days.

My son has been coming here since he was 11 months old. I have seen his confidence grow and is now speaking clearly. He often talks about his friends and key people at home. The app is very informative and gives me all the information about my son's day. I am able to check the app throughout the day

My child has loved being at Bright Horizons. He is always happy to go in and gives big smiles whenever we mention the staff at home. We love all the photos and the app telling us what our child has been up to, letting us know important details and keeping us up to date is so important to us. At this
nursery, we feel our child is loved as well as looked after. A name rather than a number. The only thing is there is no option for teacher holidays, so quite expensive.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector.


I have worked in numerous schools, children's centres, Private Education and orphanages, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day.


My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting them.


I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
