Great staff, professional set-up, a best in class response to the Covid pandemic and a friendly welcoming feel. Would recommend it to anyone. Our twins have been through all age groups within the nursery, apart from the baby room, and will miss it when they head off to school in September.

Scotts Wood is a fantastic nursery! Both of our children have gone there from babies right up until preschool age. The staff are exceptionally caring, and I have always felt that my children are safe, nurtured and content in the nursery setting. It has been so nice to have somewhere to leave them whilst I work, knowing that they will be having lots of fun and making good friends whilst being well looked after. Thank you, Scotts Wood!

We've had two children at Scotts Wood (one for the last 3 years, the other for 2) and have been so happy with the care of them both. The staff are all so warm and welcoming to us as parents and the children. The way Scotts Wood have coped with the recent global situation has been admirable, and we've always felt really comforted that the children are safe and happy there. Our older child is currently in Magic Attic (pre-school), and he loves it - we feel he is getting lots of support and encouragement in preparation for school in September. I would recommend the nursery to anyone and would add that we were so happy with the care our older child received that we put our youngest in from 6-months!

My daughter started at Scott’s Wood during the pandemic, and although the transition sessions were affected, the staff did all they could to ensure a warm and friendly welcome. We attended a couple of garden sessions to help familiarise my daughter with the staff and the setting, and then I waved her off. She never really looked back, she absolutely loves it, and that speaks volumes. The staff are well informed, thorough and thoughtful. The communication is very good, and I am very happy.

Both of my children attend this nursery. The staff truly are fabulous, and as such, my children love going there. Their development has been fantastic since starting, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. They genuinely care for the children and have many creative activities to aid learning.

Our daughter joined Scott’s Wood in February, and we have had a great experience, always going the extra mile to make sure she is settled and enjoying her time. The communications from the nursery are always excellent, as a parent, I really, really value this.

I was very apprehensive about sending him to the nursery, but seeing the big smile he has every time makes me feel so much better!

Our daughter thoroughly enjoys going to nursery, the staff are all lovely and extremely caring. They keep us updated on what she is doing each day and they have really made a difference in her confidence, social skills and her overall learning. Our son has always been extremely happy at nursery. He has access to a wide variety of toys and games and plays outdoors too - whatever the weather. The staff are extremely attentive and caring. Couldn’t ask for a happier environment for our son.

Our positive experience of Scott's Wood started from our first step through the door. After looking at other highly-rated nurseries, we were immediately struck by the friendly staff and homely environment. The baby room is a safe haven for little ones, as are all the other rooms. We have always had confidence our son was in good hands. In the two-and-a-half years our son has been at Scott's Wood, we've had nothing but wonderful things to say. Likewise, our son now tells us: 'I've had a lovely day'. This is testament to the huge effort on the part of the staff and management to care for the children. In what has been a challenging year for all, the nursery has impressed us with their policies and genuine care for the whole family. One example of this; following national lockdown, the staff worked with us to adopt various coping strategies that would allow our son extra tools to adjust to the big changes of returning to nursery life.

Both of our children have been through Scotts Wood. We have been very happy with the nursery. The staff genuinely care and have looked after our children excellently. Our children have been well taught and learnt lots of new skills, which they often then demonstrate at home. The nursery is also well managed.

The team at Scott's Wood are fantastic. Our daughter has been going since she was 9 months old, she is 2 and a half now and has loved every minute, there's never a time when she isn't happy to be dropped off and she is always beaming when we pick her up. The team make it as easy as possible for parents, without exception all are friendly, happy to help and work with us at every stage... It's a real homely environment. The online tapestry updates are really well done and thoughtful. The way the team have handled the last few months during Covid-19 has been exceptional. I only have positive things to say.

Scotts Wood Day Nursery has been a dream come true for our family. With having no family around my husband and I, we were hoping to find somewhere that we trusted wholeheartedly with our son. I had stayed at home with him for his first two years, so it was difficult for me to “let go”. That being said, from the day we first toured Scotts Wood, we felt at home. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, everyone greets you when you walk in and on your way out. It immediately made me feel comforted knowing he was in loving and caring hands. His key teachers have been absolutely brilliant, and keep us updated weekly on what activities he’s been doing in his sessions as well as developmental notes that we can access anytime through our online portal. I cannot say enough good things about the nursery and the people that work there. They’ve made our transition into nursery so smooth and have helped our son grow in so many ways.

Our son has settled in and bonded with his key worker so well thanks to the warm and calming environment and genuinely caring nature of the team. The small baby room was perfect for his needs when he joined in November 2019 and we’re excited now for his move to the next room for lots more messy play and new experiences.

Having moved from the London area to Nottingham, we were looking for a welcoming nursery to help our little one settle in, whilst offering a nurturing environment. Having visited a few nurseries, Scotts Wood seemed ideal and our experience since then reassures us that the right decision was made. Our child just seems so happy and content. The staff have been great since the first day, welcoming us and our child. Any questions we've had have been answered quickly and thoroughly. We receive regular feedback about our child, whether this be through the nursery staff engaging with us or being able to use the Tapestry system to see how our child is progressing. We're really happy with everything so far and can't recommend the nursery enough.

Our son has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and it’s been a pleasure to see his progress and development blossom throughout this time. He is completely settled and happy and I rest in the knowledge that he is looked after by a fantastic team of nurturing and caring staff who create personal connections with the children, in wonderful homely surroundings. He leaves after a day at nursery having had a great time and I have never questioned the decision to choose the nursery from day one. The staff are all friendly and approachable which makes the atmosphere of the nursery very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Our daughter attended Scotts Wood as a baby and has recently left to start her new chapter at primary school. They provide a safe and nurturing environment whilst allowing the children to have fun and develop their learning. Our daughter has thrived at Scotts Wood and this is down to the care and support she received throughout her time there. The staff at Scotts Wood are amazing and there has never been a day where we have questioned our decision to choose this childcare provider.

The nursery were really accommodating when I was in between jobs and have really provided a high level of support for me and my husband. We really rely on them as we have so little support elsewhere. The settling in period was great and they were extremely helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend.
