Edwalton provides a warm and welcoming environment where children are encouraged to learn through play.

Every day is packed full of activities, implemented by highly trained practitioners, following EYFS principles.

The large, fully equipped outdoor space offers daily learning experiences through the seasons. Fruit and vegetables are carefully tended to by children in their growing patches.

Edwalton also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics once a week for the Preschool children. 

Open from 7.30am-6.30pm with a fully inclusive care package, Edwalton offers a convenient service to parents.

We chose Edwalton Day Nursery for lots of reasons but where they consistently show themselves off to a higher standard than other nurseries we saw is around health, safety and security and hygiene. These are the foundation blocks I needed to see in place before I could feel confident in letting someone
care for my child.

My daughter has settled in really well thanks to the lovely staff and the effort of her key worker. She always comes home happy and a bit mucky (sign of good fun) having eaten all the delicious food she is given. It's fabulous at the end of the day we get a report of the day she has had. She has always
done lots of lovely activities, staff keep me up to date with progress and the parent zone app and the entries on that are lovely.

Great outdoor space and lots of outdoor activities. Learning is made fun. Great projects such as exploring space and making rockets. Friendly staff and always well informed of how my child is getting on and what they have been doing.

The staff at Edwalton Day Nursery are excellent and have provided superb care and learning for my two children. I have great faith in the management and any issues raised have been addressed swiftly and to our satisfaction.


The facilities are fantastic and the recent re-decoration really brightens

up the rooms. The trips, summer fate and Christmas party are all well attended and links to local schools are strong.

Very professional staff. Very comfortable leaving my child at the setting. My child is engaged and happy. Her speech and language has greatly improved along with her social skills, therefore, I feel that my child is fully prepared for school. Staff communication is very good. Staff are very friendly
and approachable. Fantastic experience all round.

Edwalton Day Nursery has exceeded my expectations. All of the staff are superb and my daughter has made an evident bond with the staff. I would highly recommend this nursery. They have a lot to offer the children here, rooms are full of activities and everyone is lovely and friendly. Edwalton Day Nursery

The day nursery has been a fantastic place for my son to begin learning. He loves the place!! The amount of progression he has made in such a short space of time has been overwhelming for us. I have been really happy with the pre-school room at Edwalton. Every member of staff is fantastic and they all bring such different skills to the role. My son loves pre-school. The staff really care about their jobs. I get detailed feedback every day regarding my child. The staff go above and beyond
what is expected of them eg helping parents with party invitations and responses, holding parents evening and catch ups whenever requested. I have seen such a big development in my child since he has been in pre-school.

Our experience of Edwalton Day Nursery (Nottingham) has been very positive over the last two and a half years. Our little boy is settled there and his development has progressed very well. I like the fact that there is a room for each age group rather than grouping them together (a 2-year old has very
different requirements to a 3-year old). The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating and it's possible to talk to them if you have issues. General communication is good.

All the staff at Edwalton are truly amazing and the care that they show to the children is second to none. The activities each day are varied and stimulating and my two children thoroughly enjoy their time here. They eat healthy nutritious meals which just makes life so much easier for busy mums. I

Our daughter's keyworker recently decided to move to a new room and we have been really pleased with the way the situation has been handled by her, their new keyworker and the nursery manager. The manager took the time to sit down with me and discuss the situation face to face. We selected my twin's
new keyworker together, although it was nice to know that the new keyworker had requested to have them in his group. The next morning, he had moved their pegs to his area and was prepared to have them. Lovely!
I also wanted to thank the receptionist and kitchen staff for being so supportive when I arrived unexpectantly 1 day. I thought I'd booked them in for an extra session and hadn't. Despite the girls having special food requirements, all the staff rallied round and took the girls in for the day.
This was so important to me as my mum, who has the girls on Tues/Weds normally has been ill and juggling day care has been such a challenge too. Thanks.
I also wanted to highlight the qualified practitioner in Bumble Bees who dressed my twins up and accompanied them for their nursery photos. We are so pleased with the results. Thank you.

We have just had our second child and the team at Edwalton Day Nursery (Nottingham) have been amazing about preparing our first child for the change - from sourcing books about babies, new siblings etc to encouraging our child to talk about how he felt about the new arrival to producing artwork about
her. The staff have been great at helping us manage the transition - I've been really impressed and I am very grateful.

Both of our children love this nursery and have settled in well. They have food allergies which have been accommodated fantastically by the kitchen staff - nothing is too much trouble and every effort is made so that they don't feel left out. The teachers are lovely and all know everyone by name. Our
favourite part of the nursery is the garden - it's fantastic and the children get to spend lots of time out there.

I love the variety at this nursery. Staff are very experience and responsible to comments. Great outdoor space which I think is so important. I like the mixture of male and female staff, and that they are not all the same age!
The extra stuff like ballet and french lessons are fab and the trips to
the panto etc. are brilliant.
The flexibility with 'swap days' is very much appreciated.

What is your favourite feature of Edwalton?
My favourite feature of the nursery is the outdoor learning environment and the woodland area.


What are you most proud of about your team/nursery?
When I walk around the nursery and hear all the high-pitched squeals and excitement from the children in the rooms who are engaged in all areas of learning. My staff make me proud for making this more than a dream but a reality.
