Edwalton Day Nursery (Nottingham)

I'm so pleased we chose Edwalton Day Nursery. Our little boy started in the caterpillar (baby) room at 10 months old and has now been attending for just over 3 months and has settled in wonderfully. The staff really care for my little one and his development and wellbeing and I trust them completely. The staff are knowledgable and respect each child for their individual character. They've been a huge support to us as parents during a challenging few months and the management team have also been very supportive. The activities always keep my little one entertained and the space, especially outdoors is lovely. The menu is varied and healthy. My boy is always clean (except for a bit of dinner or paint as expected) and well cared for and the staff always make us aware of any accidents (which of course happen to a nearly toddling baby) and are very attentive when he's not been well. They provide regular photos and development updates which we really appreciate. Excellent 10/10.

Edwalton is a great nursery with amazing and attentive staff. My child has been attending since he was 7 months old and we have never had any problems, he absolutely loves attending. The staff are fantastic at making the children feel at ease with room transitions and settling in. They were brilliant and on the ball all throughout lockdowns and with the ever changing covid protocols.

The only thing I would like more of is updates/photos on his days, particularly as we still can’t go in to see him playing.

Son has just left Bumblebees. we have found the staff to be supportive. The nursery offers an engaging range of activities, regular assessments and feedback received regarding progress. Son has continued to develop well throughout his time here.

We visited Edwalton Day Nursery 8-years ago and knew it was the place for our children. Both daughters have now "graduated" and are in school with the youngest having finished at nursery last week. We are eternally grateful for what the team at Edwalton have done for our kids. They have supported, developed and moulded them into amazing little girls. On top of this, the way that they ensured that during the last 18-months (in unprecedented times), our children felt safe and continued their development. Without a shadow of a doubt, we would recommend the nursery to family and friends, and in fact, do so regularly.

My granddaughter has settled well. She has a fantastic time as nursery and really enjoys all the activities provided. The staff are very warm, friendly and really home in to a child’s needs. The nursery have fantastic grounds with the forest school and lodge.

My daughter has settled in extremely well to the baby room and loves her time at the nursery. She is always very happy and has built great relationships with the staff. The nursery provides great care.

Exceptional level of service. Our boy has only been attending for 3 months but he comes home every night with a smile on his face and can’t wait to go back! We can’t praise the quality of care enough.

I couldn’t be happier with Edwalton Day Nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They always giving their time to talk and listen to you. The activities they do are fun and still educational - my daughter raves about everything she does. The food they serve sounds lovely and great variety. I highly recommend.

We as a family are so grateful to the pre-school with the gentle yet encouraging approach to our daughter's potty training fears. She is still refusing to go at home but is keen to please staff at the nursery. A massive thank you to the team, your care and going along with what our daughter is comfortable with is what has allowed a shy and reluctant little girl to have the confidence to face her fears.

Excellent nursery, they can't do enough to accommodate children's needs. Each member of staff is brilliant and they go above and beyond their role. Brilliantly run.

My daughter is loving her time at pre-school and has come on leaps and bounds since moving up to this room. We've been really impressed with the staff and their commitment to the children's learning.

My son started in Bumblebees several months ago. Since then he has progressed significantly in all areas of his development. The staff have been fantastic with my son as he initially was upset when we left him. However, my son's confidence has grown over time as he has got to know the staff and the other children. He now thoroughly enjoys nursery.

The nursery and staff are amazing. My son loves it here and it is like a second home. He is learning so much every day and they are helping him become such a clever kind boy.

Great school, teachers are the difference! Very caring and remember lots of details about my child. Good ratio of students to teachers. Cost is a little higher than other neighbourhood nurseries.

My youngest daughter started at Edwalton a couple of months ago. She settled so quickly and is so happy in the baby room. She reaches for the key workers and gives me a big smile and a wave. It is so nice knowing I am leaving her somewhere she is so happy. The care and attention she receives must make her feel safe and secure.
