We visited Edwalton Day Nursery 8-years ago and knew it was the place for our children. Both daughters have now "graduated" and are in school with the youngest having finished at nursery last week. We are eternally grateful for what the team at Edwalton have done for our kids. They have supported, developed and moulded them into amazing little girls. On top of this, the way that they ensured that during the last 18-months (in unprecedented times), our children felt safe and continued their development. Without a shadow of a doubt, we would recommend the nursery to family and friends, and in fact, do so regularly.
My granddaughter has settled well. She has a fantastic time as nursery and really enjoys all the activities provided. The staff are very warm, friendly and really home in to a child’s needs. The nursery have fantastic grounds with the forest school and lodge.
My daughter has settled in extremely well to the baby room and loves her time at the nursery. She is always very happy and has built great relationships with the staff. The nursery provides great care.
Exceptional level of service. Our boy has only been attending for 3 months but he comes home every night with a smile on his face and can’t wait to go back! We can’t praise the quality of care enough.
The nursery staff realised more support was needed for my son and made an application to the healthcare trust which would provide more support for his needs.
I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Edwalton Nursery as their skill, care and dedication to the children in their care is excellent.
I couldn’t be happier with Edwalton Day Nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They always giving their time to talk and listen to you. The activities they do are fun and still educational - my daughter raves about everything she does. The food they serve sounds lovely and great variety. I highly recommend.
We as a family are so grateful to the pre-school with the gentle yet encouraging approach to our daughter's potty training fears. She is still refusing to go at home but is keen to please staff at the nursery. A massive thank you to the team, your care and going along with what our daughter is comfortable with is what has allowed a shy and reluctant little girl to have the confidence to face her fears.
We really enjoyed getting involved with the children at preschool for Valentines Day. There were numerous activities set up and all the children, parents and teachers got stuck in!
The staff are all always very friendly and they understand each individual child’s needs and encourage their development.
It has been lovely to see how my son has progressed within this nursery.
Excellent nursery, they can't do enough to accommodate children's needs. Each member of staff is brilliant and they go above and beyond their role. Brilliantly run.
My daughter is loving her time at pre-school and has come on leaps and bounds since moving up to this room. We've been really impressed with the staff and their commitment to the children's learning.
My son started in Bumblebees several months ago. Since then he has progressed significantly in all areas of his development. The staff have been fantastic with my son as he initially was upset when we left him. However, my son's confidence has grown over time as he has got to know the staff and the other children. He now thoroughly enjoys nursery.
The nursery and staff are amazing. My son loves it here and it is like a second home. He is learning so much every day and they are helping him become such a clever kind boy.
Great school, teachers are the difference! Very caring and remember lots of details about my child. Good ratio of students to teachers. Cost is a little higher than other neighbourhood nurseries.
My youngest daughter started at Edwalton a couple of months ago. She settled so quickly and is so happy in the baby room. She reaches for the key workers and gives me a big smile and a wave. It is so nice knowing I am leaving her somewhere she is so happy. The care and attention she receives must make her feel safe and secure.
The reviews at the end of the day are thorough and knowledgeable.
Excellent feedback given each day.
From the baby room through to preschool we have got to know the staff and them us.
Our wishes have been complied with and his needs met.
He has learnt so much during his time at Edwalton and made some lovely friends.
I personally will miss the familiarity, warm welcome each morning and happy faces when he goes to school.
I hope the teachers and staff at his infant school will be just as reassuring and caring of him.
Since my daughter has stated Ladybirds she has flourished. She has grown in confidence and her personality. The staff are fantastic with her and are brilliant at encouraging her to reach her milestones. I find the staff very approachable and accommodating. I know she absolutely loves coming here and she gets so excited when I talk about her friends and staff.
The staff are brilliant at knowing all of the children as individuals and tailoring their activities to suit their development needs.
We love the time spent in the outdoors and the child-led approach.
My daughter has built great relationships with some of the carers in ladybirds, even talks about them at home.
Amazing nursery and will always recommend.

My favourite feature of the nursery is the outdoor learning environment and the woodland area.
When I walk around the nursery and hear all the high-pitched squeals and excitement from the children in the rooms, who are engaged in all areas of learning. My staff make me proud for making this more than a dream but a reality.
