My son has been attending for about 5 months now & I am very happy I chose this nursery. The staff are amazing, friendly & caring. I've seen a massive leap with my sons social & emotional development. I can see how happy he is playing & talking to staff. He was really shy and now he is so confident around new adults. I think thats because of the relationships he has built with the staff. The rooms are very clean & well equiped with lovely wooden toys. I am confident my son is looked after, happy & growing here!

Our child started nursery back in Feb 2025, since then he has come on leaps and bounds developmentally and has really taken to all staff members. He's so happy to attend each day and every time I pick him up I know by the look of his face how much he has enjoyed it. More observations would be great!

Main Street is a welcoming, positive, and kind nursery. My daughter enjoys her time there and we feel comfortable/ confident that she is well looked after. Thank you.

The nursery is second to none, the staff are amazing. The whole concept of a scary experience as new mum, leaving my child was such a breeze for her settling in. The staff are calming can show care and assistance with any worries you may have.

My son has just completed his second week and nursery and he's settled really well. All staff communicate with us effectively whether it's in person or via the app so we always know what's going on with our son. I have no concerns whatsoever regarding my son's well-being whilst attending nursery as he always comes home happy and fed.

My little one has been going to this nursery for over a year and I couldn't recommend enough. The nursery itself is lovely, especially since the re-fit. The staff, especially in the early years have made our journey so much easier. The care they show and effort with the children is amazing. The effort and time that's recently gone into the Christmas activities especially the nativity has certainly been recognised. Thank you all at Children 1st @ Main street for everything you have done to support my little one.

I can just say that it's the best nursery ever. I'm so glad that my son enjoy every single moment at nursery. Every time he's saying how much fun he had which means nursery staff are the best. Thank you for all of your hard work and definitely he's little brother will go to this nursery because it's the best.

I feel all the staff take a firm interest in our daughters development, we feel she has progressed really well. Really like the updates, gives peace of mind and do not feel the need to ask lots of questions.

I've been so happy to see how my daughter is settling here, she seems alot more comfortable than her previous nursery. I think it helps how lovely all the staff are and the upgraded play areas. I can't wait to see how she progresses here. Thankyou for everything so far! 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

We have been sending our little boy since beginning of September. As our first baby, our 'miracle' baby, we were very hesitant about sending him to a nursery however we must return to work at some point! From the first ever look around the nursery, we felt as though this is the one for us! We viewed a few and they did not come close to Children 1st at Main Street. The care our boy has been given has been nothing but outstanding! Although we get crocodile tears when we leave him the staff are so friendly it is very comforting to know they genuinely care about the children. Every member of staff we have come across are very friendly and welcoming! The manager is always on site and very approachable. Communications have been fantastic! I would highly recommend this nursery!

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough having used this nursery for 4 children over 13 years. I feel confident that my children are cared for safely and that they are nurtured in the best way for them. All staff have been friendly and welcoming and always helped to offer reassurance when needed. I have found the communication to be clear and all issues quickly resolved eg. needing to change nursery days or times. My children have always been supported to reach the best of their ability and their interests supported. The activities and routines are engaging and developmentally appropriate. The new refurbishment brings the nursery up to date and creates the ideal environment for children to play in a safe and stimulating way. Further to this the large garden offers them the perfect opportunity to explore and build their gross motor skills. I can’t thank the staff enough for always being so attentive to my and my children’s needs. Outstanding.

We've been absolutely thrilled with our experience at the Childrens 1st Main Street Nursery so far. The staff did their absolute best to welcome our daughter into the group, reassuring us daily and giving daily updates on her progress. She has settled in quickly and now eagerly looks forward to seeing her friends and teachers every morning. We've found everyone to be incredibly welcoming, paying close attention to detail and offering great support. The managers have been exceptionally accommodating, seamlessly adjusting to our changing schedule multiple times. We're impressed with the healthy meals and snacks provided. Our daughter has also learned a wealth of new skills during her time at the nursery. The teachers are warm and caring, friendly and just lovely people! Even amidst ongoing building refurbishments, the nursery has managed to maintain its charm, seamlessly integrating the renovations without disrupting daily activities, which speaks volumes about its management skills.

My one year old started at Main Street Children 1st in January. We were very pleased with the information and settling in sessions provided prior to the start date. All the staff are lovely. My son has settled happily and we are pleased he eats and naps well on the days he is at nursery. I like the book used for communication between staff and parents, as I personally prefer a book to having to log in to an app. Overall very pleased with our choice of nursery.

My daughter has only recently started at this nursery and I have nothing but positives. The staff are friendly and welcoming and easy to talk to. Their handovers and updates in the nursery diaries and on the parent admin app are always thoughtfully written. My daughter is so happy there and just runs in without a look back. They always do activities with them and I definitely think my daughter has developed since starting here.

My son has been with Children First since he was two and now is four. He is happy there and he knows a lot of things from there. He likes all the staff and he wants to be back every day with his friends. Was the best decision when I sent my son there and hope all the children are as happy at nursery.

My daughter joined in September (aged one) and from our first visit to the nursery for a look around, we knew we’d picked a brilliant nursery! The staff and teachers are all really welcoming and extremely helpful with planning settling in days, accommodating my daughter's needs with foods and her development. She’s been here just over a month now and I couldn't be happier with how she’s getting on at children First (Main Street).

My daughter has attended since 5 months old. Children 1st @ Main Street Day Nursery has always been friendly, approachable and caring. The teachers and helpers know each child and work well to look after the kids. There are plenty of opportunities to see the kids in the nursery settings with stay-and-play sessions. My daughter regularly comes home with stories of what she learnt, made or discovered. She loves going to nursery and seeing her friends. Couldn't recommend Main Street enough.

Both my children are at this nursery and I can say that I am very satisfied with the care given to the children and the way they behave with them when they encounter something new or difficult for them. The staff is very involved in their development and learning. The place is very clean and airy, perfect for children. The food is also perfect and good, both children love the food there. From the point of view of money, it is an ok price considering the facilities. I recommend this nursery with all my heart.

The staff at this nursery go above and beyond to ensure that every child is happy and well, I have never had any incident with Children 1st @ Main Street Day Nursery and we’ve been with them for over six months now, my toddler loves going to this nursery and gets upset on weekends or holidays when she cannot go! The staff and other children at the nursery made it so easy to potty train my toddler, it was completely effortless! Being at this nursery has encouraged my toddler to eat anything she is given too! A huge bonus! She has a fantastic relationship with all of the staff there and she has taken a shine to one staff member, in particular, which is absolutely adorable! But all in all the relationships she has built with the staff makes me feel so much better about leaving her there. I would a million per cent recommend to anyone that is anxious about their child starting nursery to absolutely choose this one! I am so grateful for this nursery and the staff, they do an amazing job.

As a full-time working mum with no family close by, finding a nursery who looked after my child to a high standard, promoted her independence and growth was paramount. I have been reassured and listened to when any issues or concerns have cropped up. No service can be flawless but how it’s handled and rectified is crucial and Children 1st always rectify any queries. Communication is good which again eases any anxiety. Whenever I have needed an extra session it’s been accommodated. My child absolutely loves going to nursery, she loves all the staff and children, it has massively contributed to her advancements and her development. Any future children will also be attending this nursery. Overall, super happy with our experience, so thank you.
