Nene Valley Day Nursery (Northampton)

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to you all for everything you have done for my two babies over the last 6 years. It breaks my heart a little that I have to say goodbye. You have meant the world to me and have helped me through many tired and grumpy mornings.

My daughter has attended the nursery for 3 1/2 years and in that time the staff have been attentive, caring and aware of the needs of my daughter and myself.

During her transition to school, they have supported and guided, offered advice and sought our literature to support.

The staff are friendly, happy, fun and have provided wonderful activities and fun events for her.

I am so glad I send my little girl here, it is such a brilliant nursery. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and do an amazing job. Since my little one has been here she has come on leaps and bounds with speech and understanding how other children play and loves it.

Sometimes, as a parent, it seems like there are too many children in one room for one individual child to have 1-1 attention. Sometimes there are too many children not in ratio with the adults.

I'm completing this as I want to express my general happiness with Nene Valley Day Nursery (Northampton). The staff are attentive and caring and you feel your child is in safe hands. I especially think the ladies at reception are a great first representation of the nursery. Thank you all for your hard work and keep up the really good work.

Thank you for looking after my daughter. She always says she wants to go back to her old nursery as she misses her nursery staff and friends. I am very thankful to all the staff for taking care of her. There has been a significant improvement in her development and speaking skills.

A (carer) in ladybirds is outstanding.

I am very well satisfied with my kid’s growth in this nursery. I could see a dramatic change in communication skills, listening skills, imaginative thinking and ability to make new friends. They take care of each and every child and analyse their capabilities and encourage to socialise and bring out the kid’s likes and dislikes. They communicate with every parent to share their views and day to day activities of the kid.I would strongly recommend this nursery for any child.

Really happy with this nursery. Everything seems to run smoothly and the staff are very professional. My children are really thriving there, would recommend to all.

It is a really feel at home environment and the staff/teachers are very friendly and dedicated. It is clear they love the children and it is not only a job done well. My son had a very painful experience in his previous nursery and everybody helped him to settle quite quickly and even his delay in speaking English has been embraced so well by the staff, that in a few months has greatly improved. My child has both parents speaking Italian at home and to find a place he could be loved and understood was utterly important!. Thank you Nene Valley Day Nursery.

The staff have all been incredible. It's lovely that they all speak to her and also remember my son and speak to him when he visits as well.

My daughter started Nene Valley Nursery last year and I am very happy that we made the right choice. I can see my daughter enjoys the time she spends there. She is always happy to go there. I also noticed that she has improved her language a lot and learnt a lot of different things. Very nice staff and even my daughter tells me about that. So we are very happy with Nene Valley Day Nursery.

I think this nursery is excellent in every way, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They are brilliant with my son who attends three times a week and enjoys going. There are always various activities in his designated room which help with his learning which are really enjoyable for him. I always receive a good handover.

Great communication links, especially now parent zone is running. My child's key worker is brilliant and really interacts with him well and really helps with his development, caring, enthusiastic and always happy. Overall, a fab nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

A purpose-built building of Nene Valley Day Nursery with plenty of outdoor space and spacious rooms for different age groups. Experienced and caring staff, actively involved in the physical and mental development of children are only some of the important salient features of this place.

My children are always happy and comfortable here and therefore, I have peace of mind that they will be very well looked after and cared for whilst I am at work. I am always kept up to date with their progress by daily feedback from the girls and also by the wonderful parent app of Parent 2.

Very professional and caring, providing stimulating activities for children of all ages. Very good communication with parents, including the 'daily care chart' and the app 'parent zone', which is quite innovative. Extending opening hours, which is helpful for working parents. Highly recommend it. My baby has settled in very well and is always very happy to stay.

As I was having difficulty getting my daughter to eat certain foods at home I asked the nursery to keep track of what meals she is happy to eat at nursery. They gave me recipes for 7 meals. Thank you.

My son has been here since he was eight months old. All the staff have been lovely. I cannot fault the nursery. The support given to all the family, especially during transition phases, has been excellent. I will be sad when it's time to leave.

My daughter has always been very well looked after and loved in all areas she has been in. I know she is in good hands with staff that care. She has developed well and had good learning opportunities with the chance to learn new skills along the way, for example writing her name and creative play.

We could not be more pleased with how our daughter has got on at this nursery. She loves going so much that she asks to go at the weekends. The staff are all so lovely, so helpful and really make the children feel like they're at a home from home. As a parent, you want to know that your child is always safe and I got that feeling as soon as I stepped in Nene Valley. I'm just sad that my daughter doesn't get to spend more time here. She has learnt and developed so much and I can't think Nene Valley enough!
