Nene Valley Day Nursery (Northampton)

Both my children love the nursery and all of the staff. They make you feel part of the family and build excellent relationships with parents and the children.

Staff are always very friendly, helpful and give good hand-overs on pickup, as well as extensive updates via the app. They have kept up so well with my son’s potty training, and he is very confident going nappy-free now. My son has made friends already, with other children as well as staff, that he talks about a lot at home. The activities and themes they choose each week are lovely, and it’s really nice to feel involved. Thank you, everyone.

I am so impressed by sending my son to this nursery, throughout his 2 years here he has been so happy attending. I do not have to worry about hi happiness or safety when I go to work. He always comes home happy. His learning, speech and interaction have really come on from being around his friends and practitioners. I am updated via the app with pictures and key information. I would highly r3commend this nursery. My son will be sad when it's time for school.

Our daughter has received excellent care at Nene Valley Day Nursery. The staff know her really well, encouraging her development in a caring atmosphere. The activities are imaginative and engaging. More importantly, our daughter is happy there.

Love the school. Lots of varied activities. The new wing is great. Teachers are great. Low student/teacher ratio. Cost is a little higher than closer nurseries.

My son has always been happy to go to nursery, having fun with his friends and enjoying a wide variety of activities. The staff at the nursery have been fantastic and I really feel they have made a huge contribution to his development. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nene Valley Day Nursery to any of my friends.

We were so sad to leave Nene Valley Day Nursery! It has been the home for both my sons from 12 months-4 years. They have been so happy there. The staff are so friendly and skilled at looking after the children and always have a smile on their face. The food is all home-cooked and the all-inclusive service makes life a little easier! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery. It definitely deserves its outstanding Ofsted rating.

Fantastic nursery and would recommend to anybody. Both our children have been at the nursery and have been well prepared for life after nursery. All the staff are brilliant and really helpful with any questions. Clean, safe environment for our kids to grow and develop.

My son has spent the last 20 months in your care whilst I've worked, spanning 3 rooms. Staff have listened and respected my wishes for him and kept me informed of his progress. He is happy to attend nursery and has quickly adapted to the changes in rooms and seems to have built good relationships with the staff. I have no concerns leaving him in your care as I trust that his welfare is at the forefront of staff's mind. It would be nice if all alternatives for foods can be offered for example Soya Yogurt given when all have Yogurt although this happens it is not consistent and a 2-year-old does not understand.

Overall I am very happy with the service provided, in particular how my child's development is closely tracked and reported back to me.

The nursery is excellent. They make sure the kids emotional and physical needs are cared for. They actively encourage growth and development. I would recommend them, my children have thrived here. thank you Nene Valley Day Nursery!

I am happy with the care my daughter is getting in this child care. Helped me to get back to work. Even my son went to the same nursery for 2 years. Thanks to the staff.

He made many friends and talks about them a lot at home. It's a friendly environment.

Food is freshly made in the nursery’s kitchen and my son loves it.

So far our daughter has been a part of the nursery since February 2019. We have had no concerns regarding the care of our daughter. Everyone is very helpful and the girls in the ladybird room are amazing. They are also so willing to support and talk about things, provide information and take great interest in each child. I did a lot of searching before committing to this nursery and visited several times which they did not mind. Due to my profession, I am on the outlook for particular things and so far I have been externally happy. We are both happy with the service, communication and support. Thank you.

So happy with all the staff and help I’ve been given whilst registering my son and transferring to this nursery. All the staff, especially in the bumblebee room, have been so helpful and I’m so happy with how my son has settled in with the help of everyone.

He is very fussy at eating but they always offer more variety so that he gets his nutrition.
