Children 1st Grantham Nursery School

Children's 1st Grantham have provided an excellent start for both of my children. They have nurtured and provided many different activities. The children have loved coming to nursery and I have appreciated their professionalism and patience when dealing with my children.

My daughter has really enjoyed coming to children's 1st she's got on well with her teachers and I've noticed her confidence grow. I would send all my children to this nursery.

My daughter has been at Children 1st for 18 months and has loved every minute. She has come on leaps and bounds in terms of confidence, interaction with other children, sharing, as well as with her reading and writing and this is all down to the staff at Children 1st. They are so patient and understanding and always spend some quality one to one time with her particularly with her reading. My daughter graduated yesterday and I feel happy and confident that she is now ready for school and that's down to Children 1st. Thank you!

Supportive environment. Mindful of children's needs - inc, special health care requirements. Friendly staff - children have built strong but balanced relationships with staff through all rooms. Excellent facilities, varied activities. Thank you.

My daughter has been attending Children 1st for nearly three years and in that time I've been able to watch her make friends, join in activities, learn and become a well adjusted, confident little girl. She's quite sensitive and not great with change and the nursery have helped her with this and now she's looking forward to school. The nursery has been a great support for me and our family and our second daughter has now joined and is also loving her time here. I don't think there are enough words to express our gratitude. The staff and manageress are exceptional. No better people to look after our little girls.

I feel very comfortable with the atmosphere, clean, large rooms with huge Windows, the children seem happy, the manager and my daughter's key worker are just great as well as all the staff there.

My daughter has been made very welcome, the nursery were very flexible in terms of her settling in period and made her and myself feel comfortable before she formally started, I think I needed this more than she did. Her key worker is brilliant and has worked with us to adapt to my daughters routine and care for her in a way which supports how we do things at home. Always checking in to see if she can/needs to do anything differently. The nursery facilities are great, daily dairies help you know what's been happening during they day but your key worker will give you a full debrief at the end of every day so great parent/nursery communication.

My son has attended since he was 6 weeks old, he is almost 4 and still attends now, I couldn't fault the nursery, his key worker is like a friend to us now and if we have more children without a doubt that is the nursery they will attend!

Excellent staff and always friendly welcome, my daughter loves going so I love taking her. Excellent facilities and activities all really well planned, and plenty of outdoor space to play in with plenty of stimulating toys. Meals are planned in advance and look really tasty with plenty of healthy snack fruit. Feedback is recorded in each individual book with verbal feedback at the end of each day which is detailed. Overall a great nursery I can't praise enough.

This is our second day care setting we have used and I really cannot understate how much I would recommend it.

From walking through the front door I knew this was the nursery for my daughter. Modern, clean and purpose built with lovely touches like a fish tank wall, an outdoor sleep area for babies and healthy toddler snacks left by the door for the journey home. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and were very accommodating to my changing childcare requirements. Meals were freshly prepared and enjoyed and dietary requirements adhered to. Plenty of parking and secure entrance system without having to wait for staff to open the door, would not hesitate to recommend.

Been with Children's 1st nursery Grantham since January 2013 with my 3 children and I have never had any issue, The staff are so kind and friendly my children absolutely love them, they were also so helpful when it came to potty training I don't think it would have been so easy without them. My children are now in the same class and absolutely love going to school, they look forward to singing and reading stories with there friends and seeing there teachers. They come home with homework which they really enjoy doing and can't wait to take it back to show everyone. I recommend Children's 1st to all the parents I know, it's such an amazing nursery.

I have been using the nursery for the past fours years now. Firstly for my young son who is now at school and currently for my two year old son. I can highly recommend this nursery. My eldest son left the nursery fully equipped with the skills needed to start school. The foundations set in place at nursery mean that he is a confident child who is making excellent progress at school.

The staff are highly skilled and work hard to provide the children with a rich and varied environment where all children can thrive. Both the indoor and outdoor environments are stimulating and engaging for all children. The meals and snacks are fresh and nutritious. Overall I would say the nursery offers a warm and loving environment where children are safe and well looked after.

My daughter attends this nursery, when she first started she used to get upset. Now she walks in confidently and comes home happy and talks about the staff and her friends. She constantly comes home singing the welcome time song to her brothers, when she arrives at nursery we always get greeted with a warm welcome, the staff are all present and happy the nursery is clean, bright and cheerful. I am happy I chose this nursery for my little girl which also her two brothers attended. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.
