Children 1st Grantham Nursery School

This is an absolutely fantastic nursery. I have two children who have been at this setting. One is currently in the baby room at the moment and is extremely happy. The room is full of sensory resources and the staff are all lovely and friendly. They treat the children as if they were their own and are so caring. My son left the nursery in September to start school. He moved to Children 1st @ Grantham from another nursery which we weren't happy with and was an extremely shy little boy with little confidence. The staff at Children 1st @ Grantham went above and beyond to support him and he left in August a confident child who is now thriving at school. I believe this was due to the dedication and hard work of the staff. They worked hard to improve his confidence and prepare him for his next challenge at school. Staff work hard to get to know all of the children as individuals. This is a well deserved Ofsted outstanding nursery.

This nursery is the best nursery, all my children have been here and currently my youngest is there. They have been amazing, they are all like family here and I am so happy with how well my children have been here as well. The staff are amazing, I can never fault them at all which always really amazes me. I will always try and get people to go to this nursery cause it’s the best nursery ever. I will miss the nursery once my youngest leaves but I can’t fault anything with this nursery at all. Thank you for being the best nursery guys, keep it up.

My little one had to go to nursery when she was ten months and after visiting three different nurseries the decision was pretty easy, Children’s 1st @ Grantham! The staff was very friendly, the building was excellent, not an adapted old house and the NHS discount really helps. Every single morning when I drop my princess off and in the evening when I pick her up, I know it was definitely the right decision, she loves it! It’s a peace of mind knowing she’s well looked after and loved. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff, everyone is always helpful and caring. Since she started nine months ago, her development is amazing. Even considering when she started nursery during a pandemic, I always feel safe leaving her there. I don’t think I would trust anyone else to look after my precious girl. Thanks very much every single member of staff who contributes for her happiness and well-being at Children’s 1st @ Grantham.

My son loves this place! I go to work feeling comfortable that he is being left in good hands. Three members of staff in particular are so lovely. All equipment is new, clean and safe. All activities are engaging and great for development! Communication between nursery and home is fantastic and is so reassuring if you feel nervous about leaving your little one. The on-site cook always prepares varied and nutritious meals. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Good place for children to go. The staff are so helpful , I would recommend to anyone. My children learnt a lot going to Children 1st @ Grantham and would rate them one thousand percent, any child would be happy there, that's my own opinion.

An amazing nursery. I would one hundred percent recommend. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and so reliable, always there to offer support to not only the children but to the parents whenever necessary. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She has made so much progress since starting!

Children’s 1st @ Grantham is an outstanding nursery, I have one son who is at this nursery and doing amazing with the help and support in The Peter Rabbits Room. One member of staff is so lovely and fantastic at her job in every way, I can’t thank her enough and my son loves her a lot. The nursery has excellent outside areas for each room, that the children can explore and have lots of fun in. My other son came here years ago too, so this is my second child at this amazing nursery. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the nursery is rated outstanding with Ofsted. Highly recommend.

All three of my children have attended, they go above and beyond, my kids loved it there and my youngest cant wait for nursery day. I have zero faults and they've always been very accommodating, helped out so much and I can't thank them enough. I'll be sad when my youngest leaves. The staff are just amazing.

Children's 1st @ Grantham is an amazing nursery. My little boy has had so much fun and enjoyed learning and creating new things, I'm sad to see him leave. Everyone has been incredible and so friendly. Thank you all!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough, as a first time Mam I was so nervous at the thought of leaving my daughter but I can honestly say I made the best decision picking Children 1st @ Grantham. My little girls confidence has grown so much since attending nursery, she comes home happy, smiling and telling me all about her day. The staff, each and everyone I have met and spoken to are a gift to the nursery as they are so friendly and you can tell they all want to be there and the children are at the centre of their mind.

This nursery is amazing. I would 100% recommend this nursery. The staff are all so lovely and genuinely caring for my girls. They go above and beyond. One of the staff there helped me walk with the girls when I was struggling on my own to meet their dad, as he was running behind picking up the other kids from school. They have been amazing to our two girls. They have also helped my daughter thrive as she has additional needs. They have accommodated all her ways as she struggles with change. She has also made wonderful relationships with nursery teachers and their bond is so sweet. I just can’t recommend this nursery enough. I'm very protective of my girls and I feel so at ease when they're at nursery knowing their safe, cared for and so well looked after. They always come home with the biggest smiles on their faces. They are truly outstanding.

Children 1st Grantham have a fantastic and welcoming team that provide my son with excellent care. They keep me up to date with every step of progress he makes and give him clear targets to work towards. My son has attended Children 1st Grantham since he was 6 months and will continue to attend until he starts school.

My two boys started at the beginning if September and I was so worried as my eldest 16-months when started as was a real mummy's boy and hate change. My youngest was 16-weeks. They have absolutely loved it, and the staff have been amazing helping them settle in, keeping me updated and making sure the boys are having fun.

I have had two children attend this nursery, one child currently still there in Peter Rabbits and honestly it’s the best nursery I could have ever wished to have my children attend. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, communication is amazing between staff and parents. This nursery and the staff honestly go above and beyond for any child that attends. If any of my friends ask for recommendations on a nursery for their child I fully recommend Children 1st.

My daughter started here after not being happy at another nursery, her little friend went here so I made the decision to move her and it was the best one I made, me and my daughter didn’t have a easy time with personal issues at home and the support from management, who went out their way to help me and my daughter, always checking in on us and being part of every meeting I had to attend. My daughter was prepared and ready as much as she could be with COVID and restrictions, they made the transaction from nursery to primary school easy. It was a very emotional goodbye to the girls and team, for helping me bring my little girl up. Updating me every week of her progress, she always left nursery a happy little girl. Thank you again for the 2 years we had with you. It’s got different rooms for different activities, a healthy range of meals and snacks. They followed dietary requirements for my little girl. I would recommend anyone, the nursery is by far the best in the area.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, she's developed so much since coming here. They're all friendly and so welcoming and always available when you need them, all of them. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I am really pleased that we chose this nursery for my daughters. My kid's very happy in this nursery. And I am very happy and I have no anxiety in my soul when my children are in nursery. Thanks to the team for the great job.

Both my children have attended Children 1st @ Grantham from the age of 9 months and I couldn't be happier with the care, support and teaching they have received. My eldest has now left the nursery and has started school happy, confident and independent thanks to the wonderful work of the staff at Children 1st. My youngest is just starting his final year at the nursery and I have no doubt he will have the same amazing experience. Wonderful staff, great facilities, lovely outside areas, bright and stimulating environment and a really welcoming feel whenever we go. Cannot recommend them enough.

My 8-month-old daughter started two weeks ago as I reluctantly returned to work after maternity leave. I felt so anxious about leaving her but Children 1st nursery have done an amazing job in ensuring that my child has had an amazing first few weeks. Staff have listened to routines and surrounded her with so much love. Particularly staff in the baby room. I can not thank her enough for making sure I receive daily updates and knowing that I leave my baby in safe hands. The environment is bright and clean and the children have a range of activities to choose from and join in with. Every single member of staff is polite and friendly and I am looking forward to our journey with this nursery through to preschool!
