Both our daughters have attended this nursery and we could not have asked for better care. Our youngest has just begun her last year at The Laurels before she starts school and she loves her days at nursery. The staff are fantastic and provide high standards of care. Our youngest has been supported
through serious food allergies from being diagnosed at seven months old to recently growing out of her allergies, and we will be forever grateful for the practical and emotional support the staff gave us.
The food is home-cooked and wide-ranging to help encourage a balanced diet and the range of activities is fantastic - our daughter has enjoyed her days with wild animals, Cheery Tots, baking, arts, reading, outdoor play and Forest Schools.
The online journal helps us to understand how she is getting on and to share in her nursery fun, and her key workers/team have always known her really well and supported her to thrive.
We wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Since my son has been attending The Laurels Nursery School, he has grown so much in confidence and has learnt so much. The best decision I have made. All members of staff are so approachable and friendly, they also do so many different activities with the children. My son loves it.

My daughter has settled really well in the 4 months she has bee coming here. She loves the staff who always greet her with a smile. The food is brilliant - she eats every meal. The resources and activities are good. I love bringing home her artwork.

My son started when he was just 9 months old. As a first-time mum, I was very scared about sending him to a nursery and going back to work. The staff at The Laurels Nursery School were fantastic and made the transition very easy. 6 months on and my son loves going to nursery, he is happy and learning
new skills with each visit. The staff are very caring and make drop offs and pick ups easy informing me all about his day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter is 16 months and has attended the nursery since July last year. The staff are brilliant! My daughter was so unsettled at first but the staff and managers were fantastic they went that extra mile to settle my daughter in. She is so settled. I love the different activities the staff implement

The Laurels Nursery School was the perfect choice for my children. The team are absolutely fabulous, the love, support and guidance they provide for my son is second to none. Our son loves The Laurels nursery, he joined when he was 1 year old and is now a very chatty 2-year-old! He has made so much progress over the last year. His speech is great and he talks about his days and activities when he comes home. He loves the staff and has lots of fun with his little friends,
I would highly recommend The Laurels. The staff are very friendly and never seem to mind when I call up to ask how my boy is doing. It’s always reassuring to know you’ve left your child with caring and highly capable people who have your child’s best interests at heart.

I always feel secure and safe sending my little one to The Laurels. The staff are amazing and are always on hand to support with any concerns or questions I have relating to my little one's time there.
Although my little one is often anxious heading in at first he always tells me what 'great fun'
he's had when I collect him at the end of a day.

My son has a milk allergy and the staff have been amazing in ensuring his allergy is catered for he is always included in making cakes and always has cakes of his own to bring home dairy free. They go above and beyond for him and he is always so happy to go to nursery and I believe it’s the staff all
the staff including management know the children’s names. He is also always bringing pictures and food home which he helped make.

I am very happy about the care my child receives here at The Laurels. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough. The quality of the care and learning she receives is outstanding and she loves coming. She is currently transitioning to The Coach House and she loves it that much, she can't wait to come in

Since placing our son in The Laurels back in Feb this year we have been delighted with the care he has received and the progress he is making. The staff are professional, attentive and have genuine care for the children. Our son has formed lovely bonds with both staff and other children. The food is
well varied and of a high standard. It is great to observe my child's progress and see regular updates vis the Tapestry app. Parts of the nursery are looking a little tired due to natural wear and tear. Would be good to see this addressed.

I have used the Laurels Nursery School since my daughter was only 12 months old and they have been fantastic. She learns so much and the love and attention they show my daughter is wonderful. She has some difficulties which are consistently monitored and I look forward to the pictures and updates I
receive. She has become a loving, playful child who shares and plays alongside others. She has a fantastic nutritional diet that is homecooked every day and she loves it. She does a lot of biscuit and cake making most weeks which she thinks is great and loves tasting her homemade pizzas! The staff of caring, kind and most of all patient and knowledgeable which makes me leaving my daughter that little bit easier. If your looking for a great nursery......this one is fab!

Returning to work leaving your new baby is one of the hardest things. The Laurels made this transition more comfortable for us and our daughter. With a milk protein allergy the Laurels managed amazingly (fair to say better than us!) creating food always fresh, homemade and delicious, nothing is ever
too much trouble. Staff have nurtured and educated our daughter to a high standard. She has also made lovely friends who she talks of often. The setting itself is a great space. The variety of activities, toys and outside play fantastic with 'messy play' and baking firm favourites! The nursery acknowledges, teaches and celebrates a diverse range of cultures and festivals, our daughter often teaches us many new things! With potty training, the nursery was fabulous and definitely helped to get us through this stage without too much drama! So supportive, really knowing our daughter and playing a significant role in making her into the fun, loving, happy, clever little lady she is. Thank you!

My son joined the laurels for one day a week from 9 months old. From day one I have had no concerns as he settled so well. All staff members know him and staff working in his room have been nothing but wonderful... classroom activities are fun, varied and educational. The food is great, nutritional
and relevant for my son's age. I have no problems with dropping him off, sometimes I don't even get a goodbye. My son is very happy, settled and well looked after by all staff at the laurels and I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have had both of my children attend the Laurels over the last 7 years. One is currently still there. The staff are fantastic, they can't do enough to ensure that your child is well cared for and happy.
The food on offer is of a great variety and my little one is always wanting seconds. The wide
range of activities on offer makes for a very successful experience.
Nothing ever seems like too much for the staff and there is always somebody on hand should there be any concerns. I have always found the communication excellent.
The rooms are nicely decorated with lots of children's artwork on display and the outdoor space is a big bonus.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on my experience and when my little one leaves to go to school this summer it will be a sad farewell to The Laurels.

Natasha has enjoyed working within a nursery setting since 2008, starting her career as a student and progressing up the ranks to Nursery Manager. She is Level 3 qualified, the Designated Safeguarding Officer and Paediatric First Aid trained.
